Our first episode is an in-depth look into what Medieval Dynasty is all about - what are our inspirations and goals for the game. You can watch the first episode below.



We wanted to create this series of videos so that we can bring you a little closer to our game. We want to give you some inside info, tidbits, and details from the production floor. We also want each episode to deal with different aspects of the game. And we want to show you those videos so that you can give us feedback as well.

We received a lot of them and we couldn’t answer them all - otherwise, our video would last for ages. However, we're more than happy to answer a few from you. Welcome Tribe Leader,

Every day, our game is taking shape and it’s becoming a bit more complete. Today, we wanted to share with you a few of the many things we've been working on over the last month or so. We hope you will find them interesting. So let's not prolong anymore. Let’s get to it.

One of the things we've been polishing are the looks of our characters. To give the feeling that your settlement is growing older and that time doesn’t stay still, we added an aging process to our characters. Not only will you see the aging process happen on character faces, but also their hair will change colour, getting greyer as time goes on. It’s a little detail that we think will make the game feel more realistic, and it’ll help you bond with the characters as well.

While we’re on the topic of visuals, we took some time this month to refine the look of the buildings. They now have undergone a small renovation and have new foundations. And it’s not only the outside that changes. We've added new stairs as well, so you can access those higher-up places in style.

Finally, a little bit about our work on survival mechanics. We've added some elements to the game that we feel will make it more interesting. Life in the Middle Ages was not easy. There were many dangers waiting for people at every turn. The cold of winter was especially dangerous - you need to find a way to survive in harsh conditions. We've worked a lot on temperature mechanics and the role they play in the overall gameplay. And as silly as this little feature might sound, we worked on our campfires too! Fire will bring relief to frozen hands, but you have to be careful because if you get to close, it will hurt you.

Apart from the mentioned topics above we have - as always - further improved and added overall gameplay elements, performance and stability.

Today's update is all about the new logo and artwork for Medieval Dynasty. Why the change? Well, we wanted the new designs to give a better “feel” for our game. Our artist wanted to create a logo that would show the idea of “dynasties”. If you look closer at the “V” symbol, you might notice that it’s made up of silhouettes of people standing behind each other. They could be your family, your group, your tribe. That relationship with others is shown in our artwork as well. It’s all about standing in unity - all for one, and one for all.



About the game itself - there is still a lot of work ahead of us, but we will soon be sharing with you some more info. Really soon. And it goes without saying, thank you for all your support so far, including with all other projects that we have.
