Last week, weโd been talking about different changes that would affect the game experience and we're on a roll!
Another aspect of the game that we're working on is making the world feel more "full"- this is one of our focuses this week along with new weapon spells. We've been working on new Camps to add to our swamp biome, the Land of Pools.

Is there any weapon spell you wish to see in the game later on?
Let us know which ones! If you haven't played the game yet, our weapon spells are based around elemental attacks, so for example, a Dark skill would come from a Dark sword, and its color would be specific to the element (Dark = purple). When fighting, you'll also find opposite elements have better damage against each other, so if you're fighting our Fire Giant (Hร logi) you'd definitely want to pick up an ice weapon.

Update time! With the Open Beta coming to an end, we're now continuing to work on new features before we head off for the holidays. Besides going through all the feedback from the Open Beta, we're focusing on some Construction elements like the Tripwire, and some more customization options for your character. We're also working on making enemy shields breakable!

We even saw some of you survive untilย Day 111, and complete ALL of the 9 Beta Challenges! Many of you also survived the longest night, and defeated the Helthing Boss.

Quick Development Update!
As you know, you'll be able to battle Giants again and play Tribes of Midgard in Early December, for Open Beta 3!
We're finally on our last stretch to lock the current build for the Open Beta 3. From there, weโll take time to test it and start working on features for the next build. So far we've announced two new enemies: the Helthing Boss and Unsunken Javelin (who comes in three different levels)! But there's more on the way, so prepare for a fight.
Midgard's getting dangerous! ๐
We're also adding new Camps to find in the world, to make the Land of Pools feel even swampier.

We're in the process of making an Open Beta 3 trailer, so we've been doing a lot of new gameplay recording and can't wait to share it with you!
We're also excited to say that we've already started working on some future features (the ones coming after this Open Beta) - such as Giant #3, and designing the Construction system! We're also researching features like player ping and map markers, to enhance communication between teammates. Onwards!
