Hello Competitors!

Our speed-mode competition is making its way into its second week, and we've already got great submissions from players all over the world, from both speed-run vets and those trying speed runs for the first time! From the looks of it, everyone's been practicing, with new records coming in each day. We're really impressed!

Recently, there have been a large number of newcomers to MO who have expressed their hopes that the competition's deadline be extended just a little bit so they can have a better chance of competing. After a large number of such requests, and discussions amongst the MO team, we've decided to extend the deadline of this event to 10/25.

We hope this gives everyone enough time to properly practice and get their runs in, and get those new high scores!

We have an explanation for the 2-1 bug where MO doesn't trigger the timer at the start of the level.

We have decided to not fix the bug while the competition is still ongoing, and will allow players to include it in their footage.

Description of Speed Mode fixes:
The following fixes address nasty little bugs that may cause the game to freeze/get stuck

[Fix] [Speed Mode] 1-3-3 MO jumps too fast and dies; may cause the game to get stuck
[Fix] [Speed Mode] 3-2 Committing suicide right after entering the Boss area; causes player to get stuck outside the entrance
[Fix] [Speed Mode] 4-2 May be unable to get past the finish line
