We're back again to expand two Release pack series with some awesome new entries. A brand new Legendary Palaces set, visiting the land of the dead, and a whole bunch of new characters for the Tiny Tales series!
Send shivers down your heroes’ spines when they step into a fearsome new castle with KR Legendary Palaces - Reaper Tileset! Kokoro Reflections is back with another palace set, this time focusing on a grim and spooky underworld. Explore dark throne rooms decorated with looming statues of a grim reaper and courtyards full of dead trees and gravestones, but keep an eye out for spike traps! This deadly castle doesn’t expect you to leave alive.
With a monochrome palette, this tileset feels like it has drained the life out of the world. Deep purple-tinged water and unearthly purple glows are the only pops of color beyond your heroes, making your heroes a prime target for anyone who doesn’t want this dreary place to change. Use special wall tiles that fade into a light grey at the bottom to seamlessly blend the walls into the foggy floors to twist rooms into places where it feels like the whole space could just disappear into a dreamlike fog.
Certain tiles, including archways, statues, and the throne, have a version with a light glow around the bases to blend into the foggy grounds and a version without. These versions are perfect for showing when the area becomes ‘alive’ or when your heroes have accidentally released the castle’s cruel ruler who had been sealed away for centuries. This pack also includes some fog overlays, so that you can add another level to your reaper palace’s spookiness! Create an ethereal underworld castle with KR Legendary Palaces - Reaper Tileset!
Create busy towns and castles with MT Tiny Tales Character Sprites NPC Advanced! Mega Tiles latest release is stuffed with adorable character sprites to help you populate your retro games. Fill your taverns with adventurers, your battlefields with knights, and your castles with nobles so that your heroes never feel lonely when they visit new locations.
With more than 150 sprites to choose from, it’s easy to make sure your towns don’t suffer from identical twins living next to each other! Station bandana-wearing sailors around a city’s port while lightly armored soldiers patrol alleyways, keeping an eye out for scarred rogues or angry warriors dressed like vikings. In taverns or shopping in the marketplace you can place townsfolk in simple outfits and with different hairstyles, from young girls with ponytails to older merchants with a large balding spot where his luscious hair used to be. Use some of the heavily armored knight sprites to keep your towns safe, or have them join your heroes on their adventure. Each knight has two sprites, one where they’re wearing a helmet and one without, meaning you could have cutscenes where the mysterious knight is revealed or just have the off-duty soldiers be more comfortable without their horned helmets. When your heroes visit a kingdom’s castle, make sure that they say hello to the grey-haired king wearing an impressive crown or to the princess in a silver circlet before they start exploring the rooms where well-dressed noblewomen and men meet for business.
Each sprite comes in 3 sizes (original, 2x, and 3x) so you can add them right into your favorite engine without needing to change a thing. And if all those options weren’t enough, this pack also includes base templates so that you can create your own custom characters! So if you’ve been wanting some more pixelated people to choose from or just love the Tiny Tales style, make sure to check out MT Tiny Tales Character Sprites NPC Advanced!

Today's releases are making me hungry, with a whole new tileset of delicious modern style food, and a second pack that covers the sounds of every kind of flame you can imagine! Ever wanted to cook a burger with a dragon's firebreath? Then you need to get these two packs together!
What is a visit to the cinema without a giant bucket of popcorn? A romantic dinner date without a nice meal, such as sushi? A Sunday breakfast without croissants and a beautiful loaf of bread?
Food can do a lot to round a scene out or even serve as the main star of it. The Meal Time Tileset - Modern Edition now comes with all of the mentioned plus more. Plenty of meals, drinks, and dishes to feed your heroes through your game!
From beer to various soda - bottled or canned - and wine, no one has to stay thirsty anymore! With all these tiles, you can set up a fun bar or pub scene with a drink matching every characters' taste. The cute teacup on the other hand might be used at home, it can be placed on the table while the bronze kettle stays on the stove.
And for the actual food… well, whether your heroes want to eat at a fast food place and consume hot dogs or a burger with fries, if they want a salad or sushi at a restaurant, or if they rather have some sandwiches and some fruit at home - there are so many options. Have them enjoy some ice cream with friends or serve some ham and cheese plates to their guests - adding those foods to various situations or even building some around them will add a lot to your game!
Check out this amazing set and don’t blame us if you are hungry afterwards!
Fire has its place in nearly every game, as a magical element, a background feature, or the centerpiece when the party relaxes around a campfire.
Every kind of fire can make it's own unique sound and this amazing pack by Daydream sounds brings you an astounding 102 different atmospheric noises that flames in your game can make!
Whether it is a fireplace in a room as the weather comes down outside, or a huge bonfire at a campsite, you can be sure to have the perfect match in this pack. There are even loops for even more specific situations such as a burning forest where your heroes might venture forth to save someone. And while not technically a flame, your lava can now either gently bubble or gently flow, scorching everything in its way… at least on the audio side of things!
But this pack has more than ambient sounds, a huge part of the pack supplies you with everything you want to keep your mage’s fire spells exciting and diverse. From meteors crashing onto your enemy over various whooshs and bamms to sounds that match a fire shield being cast in defense. Dragon fire, burning paper, gas flames and even ones meant to be used when a fire skill misses… even by just naming most of the tracks and giving suggestions where to use them we could spend hours.
So best you listen in and decide yourself which you like best and where you want to use them!
It's Thursday, and that means it's time for new releases! What new packs are in store for you today? Another Heroine Character Generator pack makes its way to MZ and a new soundtrack for your Sci-Fi world!
Get ready to create powerful angel warriors and Asian-inspired noblewomen with the Heroine Character Generator 5 for MZ pack! Gee-kun-soft’s latest pack includes 47 MZ generator parts to help you create the heroine you’ve been imagining.
With 20 different clothing options to choose from, you can make sure each character has her own outfit to fit her personality. Give your sneaky ninja a flowing scarf and pants while your royal mage rocks a flamboyant dress with large sleeves and a dramatic cape. Or make a magical girl inspired game with modern tops and colorful skirts. The pack also includes 5 eyes, front hair, and rear hair parts, so you can give them an even more unique face. Give your youthful heroine large eyes and hair half up in twin tails, or have her feel more mature with kind eyes and long hair tied in a low ponytail.
Clothing and hair options aren’t the only thing to be found in this pack though, its accessories, tails, and wings can also help you make the perfect character! Create a powerful kitsune that may help (or hinder, depending on their mood) your party with nine fluffy fox tails and perky fox ears, or give your demonic teammate a spike-tipped club tail. Use some of the generator parts to show changes instead of just telling the player about them, such as giving your angel character a halo and huge white wings until someone frames them for a crime and strips them of their angil status, leaving them with the tattered bat wings of a fallen angel. Or give your heroine a decorative tiara when she’s earned a reward for saving the kingdom’s youngest princess. Create amazing heroines with Heroine Character Generator 5 for MZ!
Give your not-so-perfect sci-fi cities some fitting music with the SF Beats Music Pack! Perfect Circle has created 12 BGMs that will help you tell the story of your game’s world without words. This pack knows that not every science fiction world should have perfect electronic music, and mixes instruments with sound effects like dripping water to create the right ambience for seedy cities or dangerous taverns.
Give your heroes a sense of hope with electric guitars and a positive beat as they enter a new city, or warn them right away that something’s not right with a slower track with an almost uncomfortable tone. Instead of a recognizable drumbeat during a song, grab one of the tracks that uses a deep pulse to keep the beat to add to the uncertainty of the location. That pulsing beat must be coming from the pipes that run all over the city and not from anything more sinister, right? And if your heroes do find out the truth, add some fitting music with furious beats to the scene where they confront the monster who’s ruining the city.
With multiple file formats to choose from, it’s easy to add these tracks to your favorite engine. Give your players another way to explore your dangerous steampunk or sci-fi world with the SF Beats Music Pack!
Thank you to everyone who participated in our RPG Maker Festival Resource Drive, Guide Drive, and the Festival Map Contest! It's time to announce the winners:
The first release week of March and we have two new packs for you to enjoy. The KR Legendary Palaces sets expand with the beautiful nature of the Dryads, and the third RE-D Music Pack is here to add even more tracks to your game!
You can smell the heavy and sweet odor of the large mysterious pink blossoms as well as the earthy scent of the tree bark as you enter the Dryad palace. Whoever built this place, architecture and nature are woven into one, leaving you with the beautiful combinations you are now exploring. While one room might be made out of ornamented tiles and walls, the next could already be fully covered in leaves.
This symbiosis of grown and formed things also reflects in everything else you can find in this structure. On a throne out of stone you can find flowers and vines and roots and leaves are wrapped around delicate pillars.
Whether this place needs additional water or not is up to you, but there is a full set ready to use, complete with water lilies and a waterfall, so you can shape the location just as you want it to be.
To bring some more interactive elements into this area, there is also a matching treasure chest as well as some mysterious pink and green flames, which would be great for puzzles or to light it up.
Adventures lie ahead, and watch out… whoever built this place, might still be around!
Do your heroes need a little break from fighting all the time? How about some more scenic and mostly relaxed parts?
The RE-D Music Pack 3 brings you ten beautiful and diverse tracks for your game to add a lot of atmosphere to various places and situations your party could encounter.
Such as a nice and upbeat shop soundtrack that makes getting new gear so much more enjoyable! A lot more tense is the track that was labeled "Thinking", a great piece to underlie situations where your heroes have to make a tough decision. Will they accept the offer of the villain or stand their ground, even if the chances of winning are low? Or is it about which path to take, knowing that each of them has its own risks?
Five of the tracks are called “Scene” and they could not be more different. From lighthearted and playful "Scene02" to the grave and danger implying "Scene04", everything in the emotional range in between is reflected.
The other three beautiful tracks are just what their names suggest: a fun and relaxed tune for ""Hot Spring", music that suggests something is lingering in the dark for "Horror" and a carefree atmosphere for "Picnic", but we're sure you can find a lot more scenarios to use them than the names suggest. Listen in and find out where you want to use them!
Thank you for using RPG Maker MZ. As always, we appreciate your support! We hope you are enjoying it so far.

The vibes for this week's releases aren't going to be bright and cheerful. With a set of tiles perfect for a horror school setting, and a brand new soundtrack perfect to bring the edge to your game, these packs can help make your grim game even grimmer.
If you’re a fan of horror games and pixel art, then you need to check out Ann - Art School Tilesets. Karrina and Rongrong have teamed up to release a pack of tiles from their horror game Ann! With tiles focusing on an art school vibe, this pack’s A5 and 4 B sheets are ready to help you make a world for your student hero to survive.
Create a school with fashion, music, and art departments by keeping things in separate buildings, or combine them all to make a huge museum for your players to explore! Create common areas with vending machines and couches to relax on, and don’t forget to include the small offices for professors. With a selection of paintings and sculptures (along with broken pieces) to choose from you can make sure your maps look well-used by students and visitors. Don’t worry about those red stains near the wall, I’m sure they’re just leftover paint. But maybe avoid the old wing of the school where the floors are warped, the walls are grimy and torn, and you swear the piano just moved closer…
Also included are exterior tiles to help you build modern city streets. Create tall white buildings that loom over busy streets, and keep your walking NPCs safe by adding crosswalks and streetlights to your maps. Or create a small outside roof map for your hero to get some fresh air and escape any dangers inside. Just don’t linger too long, because who knows what could follow them up the stairs.
The pack also includes sample projects for MV and MZ, so you can see how the tiles all work together. If you’ve been hoping to add a new museum (haunted or not) to your game, or just love the look of Ann’s tileset, then pick up Ann - Art School Tilesets today!
Have you been worried about your game’s music being too cheery and upbeat for the story’s tone? Then it’s time to check out the Darkest Hour music pack! ayato sound create’s newest pack contains 20 tracks to give your game the right background music for your moodier scenes.
With a focus on electronic beats, this pack is perfect for modern or sci-fi games! Explore cyber cities or busy malls while the beats thrum in your players ears. Battle against thugs with the strumming of electric guitars playing in the background, or choose one of the tracks with a heavy and fast paced beat to keep your players focused on the fight. Or grab the more haunted tracks with creaks and almost ghostly wails to turn an empty building into someplace creepier and much more dangerous. Even the more upbeat tracks still carry a bit of underlining darkness, meaning that you can give your players a slight feeling of unease even during happy moments. After all, that cheeriness can’t last forever, right?
And with multiple file formats for each song, it’s easy to drop them into your favorite engine and start using them right away! Give your busy streets and lonely bars some fitting tunes with Darkest Hour!

Just don't miss out on this chance to give MZ a try. It's only free to use until Monday the 21st at 10am Pacific.
The RPG Maker Festival continues! But for now, it is time for our favorite day of the week: Release Day! We have two new packs ready to go, another pack in the Tiny Tales series, and another Heroine Generator pack are here!
Did you like the MT Tiny Tales Overworld Tiles or do you like well made, pixelated retro tiles in general and can’t get enough of them? Lucky you, as today the Dungeon Set for the series has arrived!
No matter whether you fancy a modern maker as MV or MZ or if you would rather stick to VX or Ace, you will find that this set comes set up for both, so you can just import the version you need and are good to go! And going for what? Well, there are four main themes in this pack, each coming with a broad variety of tiles to make maps for it.
Maybe their journey has led your heroes into a mine, either still up and running with tracks and carts and tools or abandoned, with broken barrels and plants slowly overgrowing what was left. On the other hand, maybe they visit a well guarded city, with a giant wall around it? With additional color options and even snowy versions, this construct could be placed anywhere in your world. It could be a centerpiece, an amazing “sneak past the guards into the town” part of your game, or the place where your heroes stand and stare into the distance as the enemy's army arrives.
And while any larger town could have such a wall, you might want to have an actual dedicated fortress - and this pack gives you a great one! With various gates, wall options, tiles for a protecting moat around it. There are many adventures that could start here!
If you are looking for a more special type of dungeon, the last one might be just for you! The tech fortress tiles can be used to map both inside and outside of said building, combining medieval-like features with somewhat contemporary technical devices. Did a time traveler strand here? Was an evil scientist able to develop technology that is far superior to anything we find in the world around? Or maybe a certain group of people was able to proceed beyond the rest of the world, but has mysteriously vanished and your heroes explore their remains?
What it is is totally up to you and you can probably come up with many more ways to use these amazing tiles!
If you are wishing there was just a little more variation when it comes to the MZ generator and your heroines, well, there is no wishing anymore!
The Heroine Character Generator Pack 4 was optimized for MZ and is ready to add some great pieces to select from for your beautiful female characters. With 38 unique pieces and additional custom battle weapons it will take a while until you run out of options again.
Does your heroine sport an imaginative hairstyle which includes her hair being formed into a bow tie on her hat or does she have a cute bun and ponytail on one side? These and a simple but beautiful short cut rear hairs can be combined with any of the three available bangs for many fun combinations.
And talking about fun combinations, don’t the witchy dress and the demonic wings go perfectly with each other? Probably as well as the two sets of beast ears and tails, allowing you to create a red panda girl character, complete with a matching furry outfit! Or do you want a fairy, with translucent wings and matching antennae? You can dress her up in any of the twenty different outfits. With the pompoms and a matching sports dress, she might even become a cheerleader at your fantasy school?
And that's just the beginning of the themes found here, from a watery dress with a matching headpiece to a chinese style or cowgirl parts, there are many more great things to create your heroines with!
Thank you for your continued journey with the RPG Maker series.
With the excitement of the RPG Maker Festival in full swing, we’d like to take this time to also announce the many thrilling features coming to the latest title in the series, RPG Maker MZ, later this year.
