February has just begun, and it is time for two new RPG Maker packs to make their debut. A second Legendary Palace from Kokoro Reflections, and even more fantastic enemies in the Otani Pixel Fantasy series!
Get your scuba gear ready, we are about to dive into an amazing pack that is just waiting for you to explore it! This Kokoro Reflections set from their Legendary Palace series brings you a breathtakingly beautiful Mermaid Palace with everything you need to make it a part of your game.
Has the sea level decreased and this mysterious structure has appeared from it? Or did your heroes actually have to go underwater? No matter how they found it, this impressive place is always worth a visit. With a pearly shimmer on everything, this place is enchantingly beautiful. Maybe the merfolk who lived here are long gone and algae has grown over the place or perhaps it is still inhabited and someone resides on the shell shaped throne. The builders for sure were very crafty people and did a great job at shaping the various detailed statues or mermaids and pillars encrusted with blue gems. Mysterious large snail shells and starfish decorate the site as well as giant mirrors which might be ancient magical artifacts with mystical powers, or maybe they are just nice to look at.
This whole set of course comes with all the needed wall and floor tiles as well plus a matching treasure chest and a ghostly blue flame that might even burn under water. And in case it is not below sea level for you, there are also some beautiful water tiles to surround and further decorate this palace!
Every hero needs a villian to stand up against, an enemy to fight tense battles against to show off their power. The third installation of the Otani Pixel Enemy series comes with a lot of creatures you can use to build challenging fights that look splendid. The ten types of retro style-pixelated battlers come with three unique variations each, totaling to thirty different beings. Those variations are much more than just a recolor, with special additions, details and patterns it is ensured that you know you have a totally different being in front of you, even though it might be from the same family.
For example the giant demons are all fierce horned monstrosities chained to the ground, but while the purple one is just that, the pink one is partly dissolving into thick smoke and the brown one is surrounded by floating rocks. This makes it much easier to assign them to different elements and levels as you need them.
From spooky ghosts to scary gargoyles and fishlike mermans to beautiful mermaids, there is so much more to find in here. The abominable gazer might not be the thing you want to meet, but your heroes should definitely do so for an exciting and challenging fight that will be remembered! They should have their weapons ready, as with this set, they will have a lot of work to do!
Pack Updates!
The Adventurer's Journey III and City Exterior Tileset packs have had content updates:
The Adventurer's Journey III
"Softly Falling.flac" in ogg folder is now fixed to "Softly Falling.ogg"
City Exterior Tileset
ExteriorB.png ... Corrected misspelling
ExteriorB.png ... Tile is fixed
The files in your DLC download folder will be updated automatically. You will need to update them manually for any active projects you had loaded them into.
Additionally, the following packs from Joel Steudler have had their EULA changed to allow use in Non-RPG Maker Engines (both non-commercially and commercially).
This week, we have two new graphics packs ready for your games: a tileset to spruce up your city exteriors, and a whole new set of MZ generator parts for your heroines!
Let your heroes visit cheerful circuses and downtrodden neighborhoods with the City Exterior Tileset! Wataru nakanami has crafted a wide selection of tiles to help bring your cities to life. With tiles for markets, parks, slums, and more you can add more worldbuilding lore to your maps without ever writing a word!
Build a busy popup market with rough wooden signs hung above crates of fresh veggies and fish, while small carts full of candy hang out under colorful awnings. Or create streets full of shops with decorative metal signs hanging off the building and large glass windows giving a peek at the goodies inside alongside townhouses. If your heroes need to explore the city’s forgotten areas, then make use of the cracked ground that reveals dirt under paved streets and piles of trash to limit where your players can walk. Trailer homes can find a place next to ramshackle buildings, with clothing lines strung above the paths. You can also make use of the sheet’s separate manhole and manhole cover, to let your players know that they’ll be exploring the sewer sometime in the future
Let your player know your game takes place in a not-so-distant past with a penny-farthing bike leaning its huge front wheel against a wall and old-fashioned cars parked on the street. More modern cities could make use of the large hospital and gas station signs, or decorate office buildings with billboards advertising makeup or vacations. And don’t forget to put a food truck near the city’s park!
This pack includes sample projects for both MV and MZ, so you can see how each tile can improve your towns. Create maps that truly feel lived in with the City Exterior Tileset!
Get ready to update your heroines’ appearances with Another World Heroine Generator 2 for MZ! Gee-kun-soft is back with another MZ generator pack, this time offering up 42 new female generator parts to help you create the heroine of your dreams.
Choose from 5 eyes to add some new features to your heroines, then take your heroines to the salon to try out the 5 front hair and 5 rear hair options! Keep their hair out of the way with a braided bun or by pulling it back into a long ponytail, or cut it to shoulder length to make sure it doesn’t get caught in any weapon swings. Give your shy heroine bangs that cover one of her eyes, or use the slightly shaggy bangs to show that your character is too busy to waste time brushing her hair.
With 20 clothing options to choose from, outfitting your heroines has never been easier! Give your druid a shoeless green outfit to help them stay in touch with the earth, and let your speedy gunslinger move easily with a shoulder holster-inspired top. Or let them show off their personalities with a two-tone asymmetrical dress, elbow length gloves matched with thigh-high boots, or a lightweight dress with fluttering sleeves and hem. Give your players some hints about a character’s backstory with their outfit. Is the helpful mage with the red corset and fancy cape also a dangerous vampire? And once you’ve picked your heroines’ outfits, make sure to give them one of this pack’s 5 accessories to finish their look! Top an outfit with a ruffle headband or hairpin, or bring a magician’s appearance to life with a tiny tophat.
Along with all these generator parts, this pack also includes an adjusted female base to make sure the off-the-shoulder clothing options look the best they can. Bring your heroines to life with Another World Heroine Generator 2 for MZ!

Release day is here again! For our first pack, we have an expansion on the previous Pop Fantasy Battler and Face Set Pack, and to go along with it we have a brand new set of tracks from RPG Maker Music Pack veteran Joel Steudler!
Did you like the Pop Fantasy Battler and Face Set Pack and crave more? Or are you just looking for some super cute facesets and battlers for your game?
Then be ready for the Pop Fantasy BigMonster and NPC FaceSet pack!
For an idea of what is included, just take a look at the Big Monster Battlers and all the People and Nature facesets in MV and MZ and you will know the characters you are getting! You have never seen the Irongiant as cuddly or a God of light that was as huggable - fierce and totally adorable at the same time!
These redraws give a new spin on all these Monsters and since their sprites are contained in the makers by default, you won’t have any problem with incorporating or missing matching graphics. On top of that, all of the NPC faces are loaded with lovely character as well and allowing you to have the full line up of the appearing characters in your game that all have a faceset in this style! With their big round eyes and chubby cheeks they are as adorable as the default characters can get and will give your game an unique look while using the default sprites!
Check out these sweeties and be ready for them to steal your heart!
The line between Hero and Villain can at times be very thin. Joel Steudler is back and he brings another fantastic set of tracks with The Valor and Villainy Music Pack featuring ten brand new epic pieces!
Three of them are geared towards battles, giving you the tools to bring various moods to your fights. Looking closer at one of those battle themes, we have “Endless Enemies”, where gentle strings lie on top of more heavy tunes, a both heroic and grim track that grasps the feeling of fighting a never ending fight.
Other items in this pack are designed perfectly for various story environments, such as “Sacred Sepulcher”, with drums and strings fusing to create a magical atmosphere that would fit the burial site of an important hero from legendary times.
The pack also includes three more character or party driven themes: with “Infamous Evildoer” being the perfect piece that plays whenever your antagonist enters the screen, with epic orchestral music porting his power and presence. “Noble Defenders” on the other hand is much friendlier, with soft tunes combined with more strong parts, perfectly to underlie your upright and determined party on their way to face this or another enemy and let highlight them in their strongest moments.
But that isn't the only way these tracks can be used. There are many more ways you can use these tracks, just turn them on, and let them carry your thoughts… this music in combination with your own setting will lead to some legendary scenarios the people of your world will talk about for centuries!

Bring even more flames and fangs to your battles with the Last Boss Pack Vol3! Gee Kun Soft’s latest battler pack focuses on a favorite enemy type for fantasy games: dragons! Add in new fights against two-headed terrors, armored behemoths, and lithe serpents with this pack.
With 10 unique enemies to choose from, you can find a suitable dragon for any location. Battle a green-scaled dragon to save a princess from a tower, or fight an aquatic serpent to keep it from capsizing your ship! Be careful when exploring mines since your heroes may stumble across a dragon with crystal claws and tail and a nasty attitude. Even the sky isn’t safe, with lightning-summoning dragons coiling and dancing through the clouds!
And if that wasn’t enough, the dragons also each come in a special variant: undead! Surprise your heroes with another fight against the same dragon they’ve already defeated, but this time it’s fresh from the grave with empty eye sockets and tattered flesh. Maybe the true villain has been bringing these dragons back to life, or cursed them to rage forever until they’re defeated. Each enemy also comes in a high-res size, so your heroes can face off against a huge dragon during the final fight!
This pack also includes sprites for each battler, so your players can see just what they’ll be facing next! Have a large dragon stand in front of its gold hoard as a deterrent, or let an undead drake stalk your heroes as they explore an ancient ruin!
As a bonus this pack also includes images of the dragons attacking, perfect for putting some fear into your players before the battle starts! If you’ve been hoping to add some more dragons to your game, then make sure to pick up Last Boss Pack Vol3!
Grab your hoverbikes and get ready to explore an incredible world with the Retro Future Music Pack! Joel Steudler’s latest music pack brings old-school sci-fi to life with 20 rocking synth tracks that cover exploration, dramatic cutscenes, and even combat! With a focus on instruments that bring a nostalgic synth feeling to each song, this pack is ready to bring any 90s cyberpunk or sci-fi style game to life.
Explore marketplaces lit with neon and full of all sorts of robotic customers while ‘Midnight Market’s drums and electric beats play in the background, and give your players a warning about possible dangers lurking in the alleys by switching to the less cheerful ‘Street Brawl’. Battle against cyborgs and hoverbike gangsters to the fast-paced beats of ‘Pedal to the Metal’ or roaring electric guitars of ‘Rocket Racer’. Have your heroes hunt down a contact who is hiding life-or-death info in an underground nightclub to the toe-tapping rhythms of ‘Techno Trouble’ and then travel through high-tech teleportation stations with the chipper beeps in ‘Route 88’.
Even if your story isn’t focused on sci-fi, these songs could find a home in your game. Maybe your modern arcade could use some synth tunes to match the flashing lights and general cheer of the place, or your villain has the power to throw your heroes into a pocket dimension where fantasy and sci-fi meet! Give your game the perfect vibes with the Retro Future Music Pack!

It's the New Year, and it's time for New Releases! For our first release of the year, we have 2 superb packs ready for you: a new Exterior set to go with the Winlu Cyberpunk interior set, and a whole pack of amazing combat sound effects!
What might the future have in stock for us? Well, if you go by WinLu’s Cyberpunk Exterior Tileset Pack, it will be both dark and gritty but also progressive, with some preserved trees, impressive futuristic cars and many many neon signs!
With a wide and creative range of autotiles you will get the perfect base for diverse and engaging cities, with a broad selection of tiled floors and all different kinds of walls. Even if your game is “just” modern and not futuristic, you will find some very nice pieces you might want to use here!
The additional tiles fit the Cyberpunk theme perfectly with every kind of decoration you can think of. There are windows with darkened and lit versions, or even a pane with optional bullet holes for a really rough part of town. You can add gritty fire exit stairs to your multi story buildings and have some trash bins stand around in their backyards, as well as visit the local market to buy some fresh produce or futuristic guns… or both! Some parts of the city might be in worse shape with all different kinds of holes, visible pipes and broken concrete structures. And no matter which section of the town you are in, the blinking neon signs will help you navigate - or just make your city look a lot more alive. On top of the tileset sheets, you also get a huge number of different doors that could lead to many interesting places.
So go ahead and check out this amazing pack, you will not regret it!
Whoosh! says the great battle axe, as it is swung by your barbarian hero in the direction of your enemies.
Whoosh! is the sound the giant fireball makes, when your wizard channels his magical powers to cast this spell.
Whoosh! is also the sound of the arrow, shot by your hunter heroine, who tries to take her opponents out from the distance.
And while you can use that simple word to describe those sounds, it would be a lot cooler if each of them had their own distinctive whoosh, right? And wouldn’t it be even better if there were several sounds for all different kinds of weapons and attacks, to make your battles much more immersive?
The Combat Whooshes Sound Pack brings the sounds your attacks make to a new level! With 100 distinct types of swings, shots, castings and punches there is not much left to ask for and no matter if it is an elegant sword, a slow cast spell or a futuristic whoosh - maybe coming from a blaster - this pack has it! And all those small yet powerful effects will help to make your game as immersive as it can get.
Whoosh! makes the torch, as it is lit up to be able to see something in the dungeon. Good luck, adventurer!

Or fight solid treants with different colorations depending on their weaknesses. Explore ancient ruins while dodging magical machines and angry zombies that were accidentally brought back to life by your players, and face off against a deadly demon with rippling muscles and sharp spines in the treasure room. Search caves filled with rock bugs and tick-like spiders for a powerful blade, and battle the spirit guarding the blade to earn it!

Add some more people to your sci-fi games with Rinober’s Futuristic Characters! Rinober’s latest pack is here, with 12 hand-drawn characters to help bring your world to life with their own vibrant style! With spritesheets, facesets, and full body art for each character you can add more personality to your heroes and NPCs.
With the characters covering 4 women, 5 men, 2 kids, and 1 robot, you can create a living world for your players to enjoy. Make a crew out of a shorts-wearing smoothtalker, a gruff and buff cyborg, and a cheerful female pilot, or explore a futuristic city as a jacket-wearing average Joe. The facesets and full body art come with different expressions to help you really show the mood during cutscenes. Have your friendly doctor smile when talking while the no-nonsense business woman glares at your players when they fail to bring her a requested item. If your hero ends up in a crash, the injured set brings the damage to the forefront with scrapes and blood.
Along with the walking sprites, each character also has a sheet of behaviors to help add some extra movement to your maps and cutscenes. Have your kids laugh at a funny joke, or let the ship’s robot shake its head ‘no’ when something isn’t possible. Let your heroes gesture with their hands while they talk or when they need to push a button, and have random NPCs blink while your players explore the maps.
Each character comes in two versions, one with black outlines and the other with colored outlines, so that you can choose the perfect look for your game. Get ready to add more characters to your sci-fi games to populate your worlds with Rinober’s Futuristic Characters!
Have you been searching high and low for more MZ animations? Your search is over thanks to the MGC Animations MZ MegaPack 1! ManuGamingCreations has created a pack filled with explosive elemental attacks to help you bring your game’s skills to life. Choose the perfect animation for your skills from a pool of 189 options!
These animations’ bold and bright style can add extra flair to your battles, turning a simple magic missile skill into a projectile that blasts across the battlefield to strike your foe in a fiery explosion! With single target and AoE animations for your favorite elements like fire, water, thunder, wind, and more, you can give each skill its own unique appearance. Create a whirlwind attack with a green swirling tornado that surrounds your enemy, or strike them down with a dragon head formed from flowing water. For skills that don’t need as dramatic an animation, choose from the different colored fireballs and impacts. Along with the elemental attacks there are slashes, explosions, healing sparkles, and shield animations so you can give your non-magic users some love too!
Many of the animations also include leveled up versions, so when your pyromancer learns a more powerful fire skill you can make sure its animation lives up to its damage! Or have an energy beam visually show the power level of your hero with extra flashes and arcing energy.
Each animation is ready to be added to your game, so you don’t even need to touch Effekseer to use them. Give your skills a colorful and bombastic update with MGC Animations MZ MegaPack 1!
