Have a look at a video that shows the two most important features: disassembly of parts by your own hands and automatic change mode.
According to your suggestions, we're focused on improving the gameplay. We already have done the automatic mode switching for assembly and disassembly which means that you can now assemble parts without using the menu pie. In addition, many of the parts that were previously removed with a laser are now interactive with your bare hands. Here's a video showing how it works. Recorded by our tester:
We want to provide you a top-quality product, which is why we have already sent the brand-new build to the testing department. The changes will be added to the game really soon.
Recently, we have also improved the lighting of the garage and the examine mode!
We would like to thank you all for your valuable feedback. We have gathered every fix and improvement we made so far based on your comments, opinions, and reports. Have a look:
I bought a car in a barn and unfortunately had to find out that I had spent the $ 19,000 for free, unfortunately the car never arrived at my place and you just have to say that something like that just can't happen, it's really very annoying and has to be so fast be fixed as possible, otherwise it is no fun and no sense to continue playing the game. - DONE
Only played for a few hours today. the primary bug I have ran into a couple times is when I was doing one of the very first orders after the tutorial, I was doing the brakes and the driver side caliper kept would not install onto the brake pad. it seems when i grouped it with the cylinder like you would a wheel with a tire, the game didn't recognize it as a compatible part. i was completely stuck and had to restart my game because I thought that i had to keep the original caliper since it wasn't apart of the order to change it. Then on the next order I did after restarting, the exact same thing happened with a wheel and tire. I made sure that the tire was the same size as the ones I was replacing. Definitely a bug that needs to be fixed so cars don't get stuck in our garages. Oh and idk if that's what the reset button is for but it wasn't working either. Ill be waiting for an update to fix the issue before I try playing this game again. - DONE
Cars not appears in the garage after to buy in a Barn. (...but the game takes my money) - DONE
Player spawn position in the Barn sometimes cause falling down into the "Abyss". (Problem when player spawns into a car in the Barn, I standing IN the car, when I move I start to fall... forever. I use room experience, not the teleport, possible if I´m use teleport option then I can teleport out myself from the car, but I´m not tested this.) - DONE
I have: buy, and examination menu in the Junkyard when my garage is completely empty only. (weird bug, I have to move all the cars into the Parking house, or cancel / finish the contracts and after that I´m able to go to the Junkyard to buy a junkcar otherwise the "round" menu not appear in the Junkyard) - DONE
Buy more car on one place (Junkyard, or on Auction) causing a game crush. - DONE
I´m not able to sell MY cars. (the green icon is not there at the car info page) - DONE
I'm on Quest 2, when going to the test track the car is rolling around like crazy and cannot be driven. - DONE
Bug #1: VERY OFTEN happens, that my right touchpad on controller does not free turn. it is just stuck to return, tablet and such and it does not free turn my view in any way. I usually have to pres RETURN function for it to turn me again, which is very annoying. And it happens like three times in a minute, usually after some action like screwing in the bolts, putting tyre on the rim, etc. - DONE
Bug #2: After finishing Diagnostic path in my garage with tablet in the basic position at front glass, I was unable to move tablet anymore. Could not move it, resize it, press button to leave the path, nothing. Luckily Return button did get me out of car, but still it was annoying, to not be able to scroll or anything. - DONE
2nd - Any time filter anything on the computer i cannot go back. Example is going into the "main parts" filter to engine. Im stuck there the back button takes me to the home screen and the tabs where it says brakes, exhaust etc do not do anything. - DONE
#1 Bug - When mounting and reassembling the brake caliper (left front wheel), the brake caliper vanished. It did not get installed and it vanished from the inventory. - DONE
Story Mission (Probably 5): On an order to fix rims and engine parts and Radiator Fan - DONE
#3 Radiator Housing and Housing Fan vanishing as well when trying to attach the parts. Bought the items 3 times, each time they vanish. Except that the 3rd new fan is still in the inventory and the original housing is on the floor. - DONE
Update 6/11: This seems to be resolved on today's patch. Existing Radiator Fan Housing items still didn't work so I sold them and bought a new set. This one worked and was able to finish the order. - DONE
Radiator Fan Housing B can't be installed again, no items found. Even though the set is in the inventory. https://imgur.com/H2GFSEh - DONE
buying cars in barns is wasted money since you never get the cars you buy plus tablet is broken freezes to a page without being able to return to normal menu causing you to be stuck for example in a barn after buying a car in said barn plus the in-game web browser work 30% of the time and the categories button do f*ck all. to not be a c*nt i just want to say if you take on making CMS18 in VR please for the love of. fix all the bugs and glitches and problems people have or hand over this project to another studio - DONE
computer browser becomes unusable after switching back to tablet. cant switch part filters. - DONE
trying to install radiator housing B with the two fans. it assembles them but doesnt install them on the car, then the complete assembly shows up in my inventory and i cant do anything with it. since i cant install it i cant complete the job or go further in the game since i only am allowed one car in the beginning garage. now i have 3 fully assembled radiator fan housings i cant do anything with, this shouldnt even be a glitch come on guys - DONE
And I can't sell any of my cars. I tried to sell 2 cars I probably never will fix but theres no sell button - DONE
using vive pro I can not get the tabs in the shop to work and the scroll bar is turbo mode no way of finding a fuel filter, if I type in the search option the whole shop page goes blank, this is game breaking for me as I cant find the part to fix the car to get to the next job. ADD car status tab to the tablet having to pie menu status then grab the tablet is to many steps and helps clunk up the game play. ALSO the oil doesn't show on the dip stick when filling engine with oil - DONE
I cant search for parts on the tablet, every time I try to type it tries to buy whatever parts is behind the letter I type on the keyboard. - DONE

We are constantly improving the game and releasing new updates almost every day. Today is also an update day! Here's what we have changed/added: - We have recently improved moving cars between locations, added the ability to save the game from the tablet level, smaller bugs related to self-repairing cars have already been solved. - The steering wheels on test tracks should now work properly. - We have also changed the keyboard display order on the tablet, and the alt key action on the virtual keyboard. - We have added alphabetical sorting of the shopping list. - Other minor improvements and bug fixes.
Over the last few days, we have improved several mechanics in the game. The biggest change is that now all parts are physical and you can grab them. Brake discs, calipers, etc. have to be manually lifted after unscrewing. We have improved the position of the dipstick/oil dipstick on your hand - also you can see it better (more clear) and check the oil more accurately. Sheds and cars bought in are now correctly transferred to the garage - you will no longer lose money buying a car there. Assembly of parts with several components is now possible! From now on, fitting a radiator or calipers will not result in a mistake with a waste of money and parts. The watch on your wrist works as it should. Check the most important information on it now! The sale and purchasing of cars have been improved, now the window on the tablet is displayed correctly. The summary screen in the shed has been enlarged and can now be seen better. Minor fixes added to improve the stability, smoothness, and performance of the game. So the game should run better (btw let us know!). We added a shopping list (on a tablet) so every time, you will know exactly what do you need to buy from the store. We improved (a lot!) HP Reverb G2 support, Windows Mixed Reality support, and Valve Index controllers support. Oh, last but not least... we've added Sandbox mode!
Full list of the changes from 1.02 update: - Changing the position of the oil dipstick - Improvements to making shopping in the shed - Interactive physical elements added in the whole car - Assembling of elements with several components - Reassembling elements with a screwdriver - Watch - Selling and buying a car - Enlarged summary screen in the shed - Stability/performance improvements - Tire changer fix - Notes update - Sandbox mode added - Video and audio options enlarged - Changed colour of prices in shops, - Keyboard lock on the tablet (now you can't accidentally click on items behind the keyboard) - Added text informing that 'no parts were found in the shop'

PS Update 1.01 has been launched last Friday. We're working on the next smaller and bigger updates. More to come even this week!
Here are some recently added gameplays from the CMS VR:
Today we introduce you to the first update (1.01) of the game. It contains multiple adjustments, which we were able to implement thanks to your feedback. Some of the features were revamped to match your suggestions so as to make the game more enjoyable. We are thankful for all of your comments and hope that thanks to you we will be able to make CMSVR fulfill all of your expectations. We highly encourage you to feel free to contact us on both steam and discord, where we will gladly discuss all of the game's features with you and hear your suggestions. We are waiting for you! Below you will find a summary of the latest changes.
- First and foremost we added the audio options to the tablet and lowered the initial volume of the music from 100% to 30%. If you want to find the options, simply press the designated button on the tablet, and work your way to the Audio Icon. The radio still has the ability to change the music if you feel like it. - The bottles received proper glass breaking sounds. - For HTC Vive Wand controller users, we changed the key bindings a little bit. From now on, the player’s rotation happens not when you touch the touchpad, but when you press it all the way. That should eliminate unintentional rotations caused by finger slips. - Also, while going with the option of smooth movement, crouching now happens when you press the middle of the touchpad and not its bottom so now you won’t move back accidentally while trying to crouch. - The main garage lighting was enhanced, the whole room should now feel more radiant. - Before, the cars could sometimes repair some of their parts on their own when transitioning to different locations. This should no longer be a problem. - The in game shop received a new ability to maximize and shrink its window if you happen to find it troublesome to navigate through it. The buttons responsible for performing these actions are located in the top left corner of the shop window. - The computer mice were readjusted and should now have a more pleasant feel to them. - The paint room should also no longer cause you any trouble, allowing you to paint your cars the way you want. - The wheels! The tires should now always match their rims. We know it was a recurring issue among many of the players. - The tablet should now always be grabbable when you are on the track scenes.
And that should be about it in terms of the bigger changes. A full list containing all of the minor tweaks is present below. We still encourage you to rate our game and comment on our ongoing efforts, because only thanks to you we will be able to make our game better! We want it to give you as much joy as possible and promise to give all that we have got to make it come true. We hope you will stay with us! Thank you and see you later!
All the changes from the 1.01 patch: - Fixed Computer Mouse - Fixed bug with wheels - Fixed toolboxes drawers - Fixed Dyno Doors - Fixed paintshop doors and DiagPath doors - Changed background image in the shop - Fixed walls and lights in the Auction room - Updated physical wheel start rotation - Changed controller bindings in HTC VIVE - Improved lighting in the Main garage - Changed sounds volume - Fixed broken glass volume - Added Audio settings to the tablet - Added icons for AudioSettings and VideoSettings - Fixed localization VR Settings text - Fixed VR Mouse movement - Fixed Level of Details in some objects - Fixed paintroom - Added SteamVR controller config info - Fixed German translations - Shop scale option - Tablet UI touch support is disabled now
We will be updating the game frequently over the next few days. After the release, we got a lot of great and useful ideas about how to improve the gameplay and what to add to the game. All the time we will be fixing bugs and polishing the game's features.
Right now we want to mainly focus on:
Solving tutorial problems - some of you suggested developing it, we are collecting all ideas and you can write under this post what needs to be clarified. CMS is a huge game that contains a lot of mechanics, so the first contact with it can be difficult.
We want the game to work 'out of the box' so if you have any problems with goggles or controllers feel free to let us know. We are aware of the problem with the HP Reverb G2 and we are working to resolve it. It should be fixed in the next update. We are asking you all for any suggestions which may improve the controls in the game.
Some of you write about hardcore mode - we will try to do our best, but once again we remind you that this is a port of the flat version, many things need to be simplified and due to the complexity of some actions, it will cost us a lot of time to meet all your requirements.
Sandbox mode - we are still working on it and we will inform all fans of free play when it will be implemented in our game.
Codes - yes we have changed them. Here they are: cmsVRpromo, cmsVRstage1, cmsVRstage2, cmsVRstage3.
Last but not least, the tools - in the coming days we will be posting short instructional videos on how to operate (repair, renovate, paint, move, etc.) the cars in the game using tools.
Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your support! GameFormatic Team
