This week in Destiny, we celebrate the Dawning.

The annual winter celebration returns with luminous new ornament sets, a new Dawning weapon to collect, a new memento to take down enemies in style, cookies to bake, and snowballs to toss. Meet Eva Levante in the festively decorated Tower to get started. 



Nab ingredients from your enemies, bake like a legend, and gift your cookies to vendors across the solar system for holiday prizes. 



Visit the Eververse in-game to find festively themed armor ornaments that will deck your Guardian in that warm seasonal glow. 



There’s nothing like freshly fallen snow. Well, except for snowballs that fall fully formed at your foe's feet. It’s like they want to be thrown! 



What’s in that broom-shaped package that your fireteam keeps yelling at you not to shake? Wonder no more! It’s the new Albedo Wing Legendary Glaive, specially designed for this Dawning event. 



Play for free or upgrade your card to give your Guardian angelic wings and a Sparrow straight out of a winter wonderland. Unwrap your Event Card in the Quests tab in-game.  



Wrap yourself up in new Bungie Rewards to show off your Destiny progress in the real world. This year’s reward is a cozy new Dawning beanie.

The path to follow the Witness into the Traveler remains unknown. In the wake of our endeavor with the Hive, our gaze turns to the Dreaming City and Riven, the last of the Ahamkara. All hope lies in a bargain with a wish-dragon known for her clever manipulation.

This Week in Destiny, we get back up.

Last week was a tough week. We appreciate all of you who’ve shared your kindness and empathy toward those affected and those at the studio.

We talked a little about Our Path Forward to The Final Shape last week. We will continue to give it our all, and we have confidence that The Final Shape will be an expansion everyone will want to experience. There will be Episodes to follow with more adventures to be had. As tough as these past few weeks have been, we’re as determined as ever to make Destiny 2 the best game it can be for our players.
