This week at Bungie, we are riding high on the Eruption love, giving thanks for six-feet-tall jellybeans, and getting our gear ready for the Master King’s Fall raid.
Another week, another excuse to drop some truly Not Great™ jokes. Oh, and some info. We’ve got that too. While not every TWAB will have a ton of new info (that’s the nature of life, baby), this one does have some key dates, a closer look at another Destiny 2 crossover, and some important updates on known issues. But before we dive into all of that, we’ve got a quick update from our Product Security team.
Ready to get into it? Check out the full TWAB here.
This week at Bungie, we’ve got a light TWAB for you, but the teams are excited to share what they’ve been working on soon. Remember, TWABs are just one part of the conversation. A lighter TWAB is a good thing sometimes. It means heads are down and creativity is high! But before we dive into that, here’s what we’ve got for you this week.
For this week’s TWAB-time, we aren’t talking like pirates anymore (sad), but we do have a nifty way for you to continue living that pirate fantasy with the Season of Plunder soundtrack. We’ve also got a few new Bungie Rewards to earn for those swashbucklers looking to make their mark out in the non-digital world, more Legendary universal ornaments, and an update from our Player Support team on known issues and what’s coming down the immediate pipeline.
This Week at Bungie, we’re rocking out while waiting for Grandmasters.
Happy TWABsday, Guardians! For this week's shenanigans, we have just a few things to cover including a little patch notes preview, but all in all, another rocking week. (There is a joke in here somewhere, just keep reading.) So, without further ado, the TWAB. Click here to read the blog post.
This week, we added a new destination for you to hunt for treasure on. The Expedition activity is now available on Nessus! We also wanted to remind you that Trials is back next weekend, and you may have noticed a few new craftable weapons dropping from other activities. So, with that, let's gather around the bonfire and chat, because we have some details to get into. Read more on our blog here.
This week at Bungie, we enjoyed a weekend of watching Guardians take on the Taken King once more and we’re now back at it with a matchmaking update and more pirate puns.
Watching you all take on King’s Fall this past week has been incredible. For many, this was a welcome return bringing with it feel-good nostalgia with a challenge-y twist. For others, this was their first shot at experiencing a part of Destiny's history for themselves. Regardless of where you fall on that spectrum of players, there’s one thing that we can all agree on: jumping puzzles are the bane of our existence, and if those hilarious (and often failed, in my case) attempts aren’t a fireteam bonding moment, we don’t know what is.
For this week’s TWABtastic adventure, we’ve got some behind-the-scenes data about recent matchmaking changes, a new Expedition location to loot for booty while putting that best pirate foot forward, World First celebrations, and a few other things outside of Destiny 2 that we’re excited to share.
Ready for a new week? Let’s get into it. Read more here.
Ahoy, Guardians! Do we have things to talk about this week or what? Tuesday brought us a ton of information, and today we get to talk a little bit more about what is happening in the current Season! Between Arc 3.0, Season of Plunder, King’s Fall, the Epic Games Store, and free week, I guess we should get into the details now. Hold on t' yer Ghosts, Guarrrrrdian, we've got some mysterious relics t' find!
Eramis, awoken from her icy prison by a Dark benefactor, has rallied old Pirate Lords of Eliksni legend to assist her in recovering lost relics of great power... unless you plunder them first. There is no horizon to reach, no edge to your map, but there most certainly is treasure. Assemble your crew, Guardian.

This week at Bungie, we’re talking Season 18 mods, Arc 3.0, and some additional save the dates.
Not too much longer before our grand Showcase, Guardians, and believe me when I say that we cannot wait to show you all what’s next. It’ll be a fun time for all, but... August 23 isn’t quite here yet, so we’ve got some juicy morsels for you to mull over in the meantime. How does talking about Season 18 mods, more Showcase details, and a closer look at the next subclass rework sound to you? Sounds good? Great, let’s get into it.
Happy TWABsday, Guardians! First off, how is it already the second week in August? Secondly, how are we almost to the next Season?! Good news is you still have time to wrap up your Seasonal title (I am only missing one more triumph) and think about what you are going to wear for Arc 3.0. I can’t choose between Geomag Stabilizers and Crown of Tempests, but sound off on socials and let us know what you’re trying out first!
Alright, I think we should get into the actual TWAB now, so let’s get to it, Guardians!
This week at Bungie, we’re planning a raid date night.
Happy Solstice, everyone! The bonfire is lit, there is grass in the Tower, and Guardians are donning their new armor with the stats and glows to go with it. We hope you are enjoying your time in the EAZ this year. We have been tracking your feedback on what you are liking about the event, changes that aren’t feeling good, as well as any improvements you would like to see added. Thanks for sharing your feedback and keep it coming.
We’ve got a busy TWAB planned for you today. As promised, we will be going over the launch date of the next raid and then also talking over some matchmaking changes rolling out in Season 18 and Season 19.
