🎮 We invite you to play Garfield Kart Furious Racing to take part of the Time Trial Garf Challenge!

⏱️ As said in the previous post, you will have to set the best time on our first race, Catz in the Hood. You will then have to upload in the Screenshots section a photo of your best time with your username. You can usually do that after finishing the race, the game will show you your time with your username on the side. You need to upload the whole screen to be part of the challenge. Only screenshots taken during the event will be taken into account to determine the winner.

🏆 The player with the best time will be rewarded with the game Garfield Lasagna Party, so you can show your love for Garfield and lasagna. The challenge ends on June 10th and we will announce the winners shortly afterwards!

You may already have noticed it yet, but there’s a big news on Garfield Kart Furious Racing: the online ranking!

This new multiplayer mode will grant you points regarding your online activity on the game: should you run Single races or Grand Prix, you will win points which will make you progress in the online ranking. Of course, winning makes you earn way more points 😊
Here are some screenshots of the in-game tutorial so as you guys know what you’re getting into.

For the moment it’s only on Steam, but we are working on putting it on the other platforms.
If this goes well, we will try to set up contests to make you win some bonuses and game keys.

Feel free to tell us what you think of this new functionality, we hope you will enjoy it!

1. First of all, players will need to complete 10 races that will define your worldwide rank
   You will then earn points by completing races
   • 1st : 16 points
     
   • 2nd : 12 points
     
   • 3rd : 8 points
     
   • 4th : 6 points
     
   • 5th : 4 points
     
   • 6th : 3 points
     
   • 7th : 2 points
     
   • 8th : 1 point
   
   
2. For the Grand Prix, you will earn the points for each race + points for your final position in the cup.
   
   Exemple :
   • 1st race > 6th place > +3 points
     
   • 2nd race > 3rd place > +8 points
     
   • 3rd race > 1st place > +16 points
     
   • 4th race > 4th place > +6 points
   Final Result of the cup : 2nd place > +12 points
   So in total you won : 3 + 8 + 16 + 6 + 12 = 45 points!
   
   
3. Finally, there are 12 Grades from C- to S+
   
   
   Your grade indicates your performance as a driver. It's the ratio of the total number of points you've accumulated and the number of races started. Do not miss these sweet position points,
   especially since in the event of a tie, the grade will be used to settle it.
   
   Warning : If you start a race and quit before the end you will earn 0 point and the race will be counted!

We managed to reorganize the online multiplayer mode of the game: let's play together with players all over the world!
Just choose your area and server when opening the multiplayer mode, and you'll be good to go!

Careful however: due to the geographical distance, players who play on a server different from their own may encounter latency issues!

How convenient, here are the 3 most efficient combos for Time Trial!

1. Odie
   with his kart (Woof-mobile), his helmet (Joe Montagna) and his spoiler (Cyclobone spoiler)
   
   
2. Nermal
   with his kart (Cutie-pie cat), his helmet (Toutankhameow) and his spoiler (Shimmering spoiler)
   
   
3. Garfield
   with his kart (Formula ZZZZ), his helmet (Space-bubble) and his spoiler (Bombastic spoiler)

On this occasion, we are resetting the world leaderboard after correcting a time flow issue - now all Garfield Kart players are equal!
For all the smarty-pants who beat the scores thanks to this problem, take this as a joke from our beloved orange cat and try again ;)

Following your feedbacks, we decided to correct the sound of the engines: the lawnmower noise has been erased, now it's way quieter!
Feel free to tell us what you think about this new SFX ^^



You can now play without having to reconfigure your settings each time you restart the game.
We made sure your control mapping is saved and not erased once you quit the game.




Finally, we set the cloud saving up: starting from today, you can connect on your Steam account from any PC or Mac and get your save files back
