Hi, Adorers. How are you all doing? We prepared this update with some quality of life improvements for Adore. Hope you like it!
We are also working hard on our next Major Update that will contain lots of new creatures with innovative mechanics for them. Stay tuned!
Here are the patch notes:
Synergies! - 16 new synergies! - New visuals for the synergy texts. Now they stack if you have the same synergy.
Custom Controls - Now you can edit the controls to best suit you.
Minimap Rework - Now you can open the minimap even if the area is not cleared. - New visuals for the 'doors' and area connections. - Now you can teleport to all the doors. - Now you can teleport directly to a new area.
Weak Attack - Some attacks now are considered weak attacks. That means that it will not stagger the enemy. But if the enemy is already staggered, you can keep staggering with a weak attack.
In addition, we reworked all the code for the enemies' AI.
Bug Fixes - Fixed enemy creatures on top of the trees not allowing the player to clear the area.

Changes
- []Community Suggestion[/b] ] - Replaced two musics that were too relaxing. - []Community Suggestion[/b] ] - After dodge roll, the player doesn't walk back to the last mouse click anymore. - []Community Suggestion[/b] ] - Reworked the AI Zella's attack. - Big rework: Every attack now causes stagger on the enemy. Armor(yellow bar) still blocks the stagger. This will create other opportunities for the player to counterplay his foes and be more aggressive, instead of just running/rolling and wait for a window of attack. - Big rework on how the creature's health increase for each of their level. Combined with the map balances, the difficulty incrementation should feel much more fluid now. - We merged NG+ and NG++ into one. Now we have Regular difficulty and Insane difficulty. - Now you have a little description of each generic synergies icon. - [Item] Draknar Tears now gives double XP to your creature instead of giving it +1 level. - Now you can skip cutscenes. - Player death doesn't kill his creatures anymore. - Scoreboard changes.
Balance
- Rebalanced the number of creatures, and their levels, that spawn on each area. Combined with the creature's health changes, the difficulty incrementation should feel much more fluid now. - Enemy stuns now last half of the time - Lowered Breor's health - Icy: Lowered the time between attacks of the AI - Frogma: Lowered the lava damage - Frogma: health reduced from 25 to 18 - Louxar: Stomp attack collider size reduced from 8 to 7.7 - [Item] Chalice now costs 60 gold.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed when you died and could not move the player (keyboard / mouse). - Fixed a bug where you needed to do the tutorial again. - Fixed lots of places where creatures were getting stuck(please, send us pictures if you find more! :D). - Fixed a bug where you were able to spawn creatures inside the water. - Fixed: spending stamina when the player was holding a creature and recalled it. - Fixed: scrah walking through the target. - Fixed: wrong capture button image in the controls menu. - Fixed: Walk while depositing fragments in permanents. - Fixed: Felwin activating the special again after getting stunned. - Fixed: Getting stuck in the essence window.
