SITUATION
We're still collecting feedback on the recently released Tanks DLC and update 1.82. As part of that process, we're also planning to release a small hotfix later this week, which should address some issues that were already reported to our Feedback Tracker. We're currently also making our plans for Arma 3's development from here on out, which we hope to present to you somewhere in the next month or so.

Rally the troops! This entire weekend, starting today (Thursday April 26) up until Monday April 30th at 19:00 CEST, everyone can play the complete Arma 3 base game on Steam for free.

This includes access to all vanilla weapons and vehicles, but also the Scenario Editor, all multiplayer modes, and even the full "Bootcamp Prologue" and "The East Wind" singleplayer campaign. To install the game, Arma 3 will be temporarily added to your Steam Library, or you can install the game via Arma 3's store page on Steam. If you're new to Arma 3

1. Install Arma 3 (and tell your friends to do the same)
   
2. Join a multiplayer server and have no idea what you're doing
   
3. Become familiar with Arma 3 by playing the "Bootcamp Prologue" singleplayer campaign
   
4. Check out the Virtual Arsenal/Garage and play around in the Scenario Editor
   
5. Get the game at 66% off (and consider joining/starting an Arma 3 Unit for the ultimate experience)

If you're an existing Arma 3 player

1. Spread the word and invite your friends (via social media, pigeon messenger, town crier)
   
2. Join a multiplayer server, and go (tactical) Rambo on all the newcomers

SITUATION
The main news this week is of course the release of the highly anticipated Arma 3 Tanks DLC. Now that it has been set free in the wild, we're evaluating player feedback, and keeping track of issues that might need to be resolved with a potential hotfix. We're incredibly grateful for the overwhelmingly positive response we've received for Tanks DLC so far. It has made us even more excited to continue planning the future of Arma 3.

Arma 3 Tanks DLC deploys 3 new armored vehicles: the T-140 Angara, AWC Nyx, and the Rhino MGS. Each comes in several variants and with multiple liveries. The new singleplayer mini-campaign ("Altis Requiem") and showcase scenario ("Tank Destroyers") provide a perfect introduction to these war machines. You'll find that there's nothing more exhilarating than driving such heavy metal bunkers and punching large holes in enemy armor. Stay on the move, and unleash fury. This is war.



Tanks DLC is accompanied by a major platform update (1.82). This update is now available as an automatic download on Steam, and is completely free for everyone who plays Arma 3. Half of Bohemia Interactive's net revenue from Laws of War DLC in 2017 donated to ICRC



We're excited to announce that half of Bohemia Interactive's 2017 net revenue from direct sales of the Arma 3 Laws of War DLC has been donated to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The total amount raised is USD 176,667 (one-hundred and seventy-six thousand, six-hundred and sixty-seven US dollars - approximately EUR 143,543 or GBP 126,016).

To further celebrate the special occasion, we published a special blog post, which includes a new trailer for the DLC, plus an infographic with statistics on how people played Laws of War's mini-campaign.
