Discover the holiday magic behind this year’s Winter Convergence Festival before it ends on January 10, 2023. Our Audio and Narrative Teams took inspiration from various holiday festivities to make the event feel like a natural extension of what you love about New World. Enjoy the ambience of Winter villages, confront the Winter Warrior’s brutality in an all-new world boss fight, and immerse yourself in nostalgic sounds as you complete quests for new, limited-time rewards. Here’s how we brought the holiday season to life in Aeternum.
WINTER CONVERGENCE FESTIVAL LORE
A mysterious creature referring to themselves as the Winter Wanderer appears in Aeternum at the start of the Convergence season, but the denizens of Aeternum are doubtful of its bold claim. Tales of the Winter Warrior and Frigid Folk are just that, tall tales to tell around the campfire! However, a string of strange disturbances fitting the stories of the Frigid Folk are occurring around the island.
The tales are true. The Winter Warrior and its legion of Frigid Folk are behind the occurrences and are exacting their plan of a Forever Winter! Real or not, the creature known as the Winter Wanderer is the key to fighting back.
WINTER WANDERER & WARRIOR LORE
“We wanted to introduce the backstory of the Winter Wanderer in stages,” said Narrative Designer Aaron de Orive. “We knew we’d use yetis as major characters, both a good and an evil version. They would speak their own language, consisting of grunts, growls, and roars created by our amazing audio team. That certainly made sense for the Winter Warrior, the savage yeti, but the Wanderer needed to be able to communicate with the players as a quest giver. So it was decided to make the Wanderer a yeti by way of a magical curse. He wasn’t always a yeti, and if you pay attention to the Wanderer’s dialogue, he hints at a previous life, mentioning distant memories of a warm fire, children’s laughter, and the beautiful sound of ringing bells. The Wanderer’s memories will slowly return to him, allowing the players to help him piece together who he was before the curse, and more importantly, why he was cursed.”
“The plan was also to slowly reveal the larger lore behind the Winter Convergence event. Aeternum hosts many ancient powers, and as the source of all myths in the world, it stands to reason that it would’ve had a being that inspired Yule figures like Father Winter. Players will have to wait a few more seasons to discover who or what this mysterious being may be, and how it guides the events that make up the Winter holiday. The Wanderer is a representative of this being, spreading the hopeful message and meaning of the season.”
“But likewise, the Warrior similarly serves an ancient entity, and it stands in stark contrast to the benevolent figure of Father Winter. This dark figure will also be explored in future iterations of the Winter Convergence event. Because on Aeternum, there must always be the darkness to contrast against the light.”
WINTER CONVERGENCE FESTIVAL AUDIO INSPIRATION
WINTER VILLAGE
“It’s not easy to establish one sound that represents all the cultures so I looked at the game environment and went again to my hometown French forest during the winter holidays,” said Audio Director Jean-Edouard Miclot. “Lots of snowflakes started falling slowly from the sky through the tall green pine trees so I put my handheld recorder under a thick bed of dry leaves and pressed record. Nature is magic on its own. The result was an ASMR-like tinkle of each snowflake landing on the leaves. It created a gentle ambient bed that I used in the main menu and around the Winter Convergence tree in the settlement and in the winter village.”
“We also needed an ambient music track in the winter village that felt free from cultural influences so I started writing music based on the New World theme but made with various toys like a little train whistle, bicycle bells, xylophone toy, crystal glasses and other virtual instruments. The idea was to make music from presents so I recorded my three little boys opening our gifts under my parent’s tree and there was a lot of noise from the excitement unwrapping presents but I managed to salvage a lot of cute little giggles, laughs and reactions. The audio denoising tools we have these days are amazing so I used them to their full extent to express childhood memories and the happiness around family. My kids have now aged a bit and so have their voices, making it an interesting manifesto to listen to that track again.”
WINTER WANDERER
“New World is filled with a lot of personal experiences,” said Jean-Edouard. “The loud animalistic voice of the Winter Wanderer for example is made from a large female Canadian moose that I recorded in Kamloops British Columbia where my wife’s uncle and aunt lived. I had the chance to record the majestic animal with a trainer who could call her and make her talk. I built several expressive phrases from all the snippets and the voice of the yeti was born.”
WINTER WARRIOR
“The Winter Warrior is a behemoth of a creature and the embodiment of a winter storm full of rage and furry,” said Senior Audio Designer Michael Finley.” I wanted to reflect this brutality in the sound design of the Warrior's voice. However, I felt it a personal challenge to convey his brutal nature through other sonic means and didn't want to lean on the usual apex predator animals such as lions, bears, and tigers for audio source material.”
“In battle, some of his actions and movements felt more light hearted. There are moments where he regathers his strength in-between large scale attacks, and you can see him shaking his head side to side. I had an instantaneous emotional reaction to this and imagined the sound of cheek jowls fluttering back and forth. Immediately the sound of gnarly, gurgly, guttural Camel vocalizations came to mind. This would become the foundation of the Winter Warrior's Voice voice. Twisting the Camel voice audio samples to sound more aggressive was the perfect challenge and led to some very surprising and unpredictable results. In the end, the voice feels eerie and uncanny while at the same time ferocious, which is perfect for this winter monster.”
GLEAMITE METEOR
“Using a personal recording for a character or an object that has nothing to do with the recording is like performing a magic trick.” said Jean-Edouard. “I tried this non-literal approach last year on the sounds of the Gleamite meteor. It was initially set up to play a sound when the meteor entered the atmosphere but it felt cheesy. It's only when I accidentally came upon an old World War 2 prop plane recording that I had an idea. The aircraft didn't sound recognizable but it felt real so I delayed the start of the meteor by about 10 seconds and hooked up that plane sound to play at the meteor location but with no visuals.”
“I think it worked well because it drew attention toward the event. It created anticipation!”
“It made players stop what they were doing, look at the sky and wait for it to happen. Then after a short silence, the meteor entered the atmosphere with a powerful crackling sound made from distorted ice recordings and a rocket launch sound effect. It was dramatic!”
“The meteor being so powerful, we made sure that players could hear it in a 600 meter radius (650 yards). It's the second loudest sound after the Brimstone Sands pyramid that you can hear up to 1.2 km (0.75 miles). It could be a world record in game audio, maybe someone will let us know!”
“The VFX team initially had the meteor explosion working as one beat but it didn’t feel interesting enough so we asked for a Boom-Shack kind of rhythm and I was surprised when they agreed to redo it with this off-beat implosion/explosion.”
“The implosion was simply made from a synthetic sub-harmonic effect but the explosion was surprisingly made from a dirt bike recording combined with a TNT explosion and the pitched down metallic sound of scratching a baseball bench. Sound design can be a strange artistic thing sometimes…”
GLEAMITE CHUNKS
“The big Gleamite chunks that players can mine are essentially crystals from space so I wanted them to sound credible and otherworldly but also musical,” said Jean-Edouard. “Their transparent blue color reminded me of my trip to a glacier in Iceland where the water was flowing through the shiny blue ice so I used those water recordings to keep it grounded. I layered some of the baseball bench screeches to make them sound otherworldly and used crystal glass sounds to make it musical.”
“That's the way we imagined the sounds of the winter holidays for you in Aeternum and I hope you like immersing yourself in it again.”
Thanks for your support! Enjoy the holidays and we’ll see you in Aeternum.

This update marks the end of the Turkulon event, making room for Winter Convergence world events. Join in the quest to defeat the Winter Warrior, explore a fresh take on a familiar Expedition, and enjoy quality of life improvements to Trade Skills, Companies, and the Group Finder. Check out our full breakdown of the release notes for more information on all things Winter Convergence, or find an overview of some spotlight features below.
WINTER CONVERGENCE FESTIVAL
Icy winds and glimmering Gleamites fill the air once again as Winter Convergence returns to Aeternum. Visit Winter villages in Everfall, Monarch’s Bluffs, Weaver’s Fen, and Brightwood to meet the Winter Wanderer and carry out his holiday quests. Players can also collect Winter Tokens to earn new, limited-time rewards including festive skins, emotes, housing items and more.
WINTER WARRIOR (WORLD BOSS)
The Winter Warrior and his legion of Frigid Folk are on a relentless mission to spread a Forever Winter across the land. Rally a party of 20+ players to defeat this brand-new world boss wreaking havoc throughout Great Cleave, Brightwood, Edengrove, Ebonscale Reach, and Brimstone Sands for new seasonal rewards.
NEW MUTATED EXPEDITION - STARSTONE BARROWS / AMRINE MASH-UP
This new take on Starstone Barrows includes a special appearance. Players will revisit parts of the Amrine Expedition and face both the intrepid Simon Grey and Foreman Nakashima. Challenge the Expedition to find out more.
CRAFTING AND REFINING STATION TIER CHANGES
We are making two major changes to improve the Trade Skill leveling experience:
The Forge, Outfitting Station, Workshop, and Arcane Repository now offer Azoth discounts for relevant recipes:
Tier 3 = 20% discount.
Tier 4 = 30% discount.
Tier 5 = 45% discount.
Certain recipes are now no longer gated behind tiers:
Crafting Stations
Most procedural weapon and armor recipes.
Arcane Repository - Stat potions (Health, Mana, Regeneration, and Focus) and elemental recipes.
Kitchen - Health and mana foods
Refining Stations
Tier 3 unlocks - Recipe level is less than or equal to 100 and not legendary.
Tier 4 unlocks - Recipe level is 150 and not legendary.
Tier 5 unlocks - Recipe level is 200 or legendary at any recipe level.
Stonecutting - All gemcutting is no longer gated, but gem fusions remain gated behind relevant tiers.
JOINING COMPANIES UNFACTIONED
Players no longer need to be in a Faction to join a Company, but Companies must still declare a Faction. Non-Faction-affiliated members may not become the Governor or participate in Wars.
GROUP FINDER ACTIVE LOBBY COUNTS
Players can now see the number of active lobbies for each Expedition, both on the Map tooltip and the Expedition Entrance screen.
SHELL COMPANY MITIGATION
We will implement the following changes to make shell Companies less effective at owning multiple territories:
Daily War Limit
Players will have a limit of 1 defensive War and 1 attacking War per world (resets daily at 5AM server time). These limits will apply to both even if you have two different characters in the same world.
War Roster Restrictions
Participating Companies will have a limited number of Mercenaries they can recruit.
Attacking Companies: Up to 25 mercenaries.
Defending Companies: Up to 10 mercenaries.
The remaining slots are reserved for their Company members.
Company Switching Cooldowns
When leaving a Company, players will start a 72 hour cooldown on fighting in a defensive War and earning Influence for any Company toward War declaration eligibility. The cooldown begins once a player leaves. Any Influence earned will still count towards the player’s Faction.
Server Transfer Cooldowns
We have increased the cooldown on all server transfers from 3 to 30 days.
NEW HEARTRUNE: BILE BOMB
Use the new Bile Bomb Heartrune to give yourself the gift of projectile vomit. On impact, it creates a diseased cloud that infects targets with lingering damage-over-time and reduced healing. The cloud also sticks to enemies on direct hits, infecting their allies if they get too close. This makes the Bile Bomb particularly potent in group fights and finishing off foes that are trying to heal. Complete the new mutated Starstone Barrows Expedition for a chance to get your own Bile Bomb Heartrune!
Thanks for your support and enjoy the holidays! We'll see you in Aeternum.

STAY UP TO DATE WITH THE DEVELOPMENT TEAM: FORGED IN AETERNUM
Following two weeks of teamwork, trash talk, and triumphs, Return to Aeternum is now over. This celebration of Fresh Start Worlds featured some of your favorite content creators racing to complete server-wide objectives. Many of the challenges may have been predictable, but the best moments were always a pleasant surprise. Learn more about each team captain’s experience and then join your favorite streamer’s world to become a part of their history.
TRIUMPHS
Despite success with specific objectives, most of the teams’ favorite triumphs were more general. Redbyrd and Xaryu from The Bald and the Beautiful loved the PvP challenges and competing to the end, while Towelliee from Trees Company emphasized their teamwork. Self-proclaimed fishing legends TonTon, P4wnyhof, and GippiGaming (Knights of the Coconut) called out reaching tier 4 first. Shifting Sands may not have been the quickest group overall, but Jhoolna was proud to be part of the first team to complete tier 1.
Rakin from Shifting Sands talked more experience than triumph. “I believe the server ecosystem fun-wise and toxicity wise was perfect,” Rakin said. “Even if we didn't do such a good job claiming the drop quests, I feel like our population had A LOT of fun playing.”
FAVORITE MOMENTS
Standout moments ranged from nostalgic happenings to notable achievements:
THE BALD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
“Running around on the beach with hundreds of Balds,“ Redbyrd said.
“I absolutely love fresh starts in New World,” Xaryu said. “Leveling from 1-60 and open world PvP is hard to beat. It's amazing.”
TREES COMPANY
Towelliee fondly mentioned fishing alongside 300 players at once during the competition.
KNIGHTS OF THE COCONUT
The Knights of the Coconut highlighted that “gold rush fun feeling” from Fresh Start Worlds, starting over on the beach again, and the relief they felt upon finishing their final objective.
SHIFTING SANDS
“Having all of my friends who played New World with me get back together and play the game again,“ Rakin said. ”We really enjoyed the feeling of working together cross-faction as well.“
GREATEST CHALLENGE
Return to Aeternum featured over 30 unique challenges. For most players, these challenges didn’t compare to the event’s true obstacles:
REDBYRD - THE BALD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
“Not getting last,” Redbyrd said. “Try harding til the deed was done!”
TOWELLIEE - TREES COMPANY
“The greatest challenge was sleep,“ Towelliee said.
KNIGHTS OF THE COCONUT
“The Outpost Rush challenge was a lot to do,“ P4wnyhof said. ”But we found a way for the server to go through it fast - one side always win but we can still fight in the middle.“
“Level 200 Arcana with 50 Guys,” GippiGaming said. ”We just did it with our Team. We farmed a lot!“
“Coordinating the team to more efficiently complete challenges,” TonTon said. “Great communication helped.”
JHOOLNA - SHIFTING SANDS
“The biggest challenge was keeping my team excited to unlock the next drop...But I couldn't overcome it, haha.”
WORDS FOR THE OTHER TEAMS
We asked every team if there was anything they’d like to say to their competition following the end of the event:
XARYU - THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
“GGs <3.”
TOWELLIEE - TREES COMPANY
“We beat Asmongold, that's all that matters.”
P4WNYHOF - KNIGHTS OF THE COCONUT
“We felt like the underdog team from the beginning against all those gigantic streamers. But we pulled through and showed up!”
SHIFTING SANDS
“Really good job and I love how you guys are so united toward the goals,” Rakin said. “We struggled to get our audience to focus on the event. Most of them enjoyed doing the regular game content more. I really respect you guys being able to rally a bunch of people to unlock Twitch drops!”
“Next time I will win,” Jhoolna said.
THE LEGACY OF EACH TEAM’S WORLD
Our interview concluded with one final question — how do you want the community to remember your team’s fresh start world?
REDBRYD - THE BALD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
“Hundreds of Bald Boys and Girls working together to get not last place.“
TOWELLIEE - TREES COMPANY
“I want the players to come to Death and see that we left it in pretty good shape with even territories and players.”
GIPPIGAMING - KNIGHTS OF THE COCONUT
“I want the community to remember how much teamwork helps everyone out.”
RAKIN - SHIFTING SANDS
“Remembering it as a server that was created for an event and lasted longer than that due to the early structure and effort of everyone to make a toxic-less and fun foundation.”
Thanks for your support throughout Return to Aeternum! We hope you will look forward to future events. See you in Aeternum.
Turkulon is back for revenge. Hunt down the feathered menace and his ‘fowl army’ to earn unique rewards. Thanks to player feedback from last year, enemies will now respawn faster and offer more loot. Get the last gobble before this event ends on December 6.
Turkulon wasn’t always a threat. Find out the story behind our Thanksgiving world boss, plus a list of rewards that might not make players feel so bad about skinning countless turkeys.
TURKULON LORE
What started as an office joke about a giant turkey with laser eyes turned into an actual world boss when one of our AI designers made Turkulon on the side, said Level Designer Zachary Holm. Here is the in-game origin story for Aeternum’s most fearsome Turkey:
Around the year 1600, a Farmer needed 100 turkeys to feed the settlement for the upcoming holiday feast. With his deadline fast approaching, the Farmer found an Ancient device that flowed with the power of Azoth. Wondering what would happen if he put his prized turkey in there...
This device had unintended side effects, and the beast became far larger than one could imagine - and escaped!
As rumors circled of a giant, monstrous bird and pamphlets started hitting the town boards, the Farmer (not one to spoil good publicity) promptly announced that he had created Turkulon the Peaceful Giant.
The holiday feast ensued, but Turkulon was not happy with the deaths of his feathered friends. The turkeys of Aeternum have been hunted for centuries. But during the fall seasons, the hunted become the hunters as Turkulon seeks vengeance on all settlers for its fallen flock!
EVENT REWARDS
Regular turkeys and Turkulon reward players with different loot. Use the Turkulon’s Claw Skinning Knife to ‘finish your food’ for even more rewards. Each regular turkey has a 10% chance of dropping one.
Some items marked below have daily limits. These reset at 5 AM local time. For example, if a player grabs three Turkey’s Treasures at 4:58 AM, they’ll be able to earn another at 5:01 AM.
REGULAR TURKEY LOOT
Regular turkeys can be found scattered across the map. Players will likely spend more time skinning than fighting them.
Diamond Gypsum - (20% Drop Chance) Daily Limit: 6 per day.
Turkey’s Treasure - (20% Drop Chance) Contains coin. Daily Limit: 3 per day.
Turkulon’s Claw Skinning Knife - (10% Drop Chance) Limit: One per event. This knife will vanish after the event.
TURKULON’S CLAW SKINNING KNIFE REWARDS FROM REGULAR TURKEYS
Skin regular turkeys with the event-specific Turkulon Skinning Knife for additional loot:
Infused Turkey Coating (20% Drop Chance) Daily Limit: 5 per day. Major damage boost against Turkulon. Minor damage boost against other beasts. This item will no longer be available after the event.
Infused Turkey Ward Potion (20% Drop Chance) Daily Limit: 5 per day. Major damage absorption from Turkulon’s attacks. Minor damage absorption from other beasts. This item will no longer be available after the event.
TURKULON DROPS
Turkulon can be found in specific locations throughout Everfall, Brightwood, Mourningdale, Restless Shore, Windward, Monarch’s Bluffs, First Light and Cutlass Keys. Team up with your friends, Faction, and fellow Adventurers to take down this level 66 feathered avenger of death for the following rewards. Note that players must deal a minimum amount of damage to receive rewards.
Players are guaranteed to receive all of the rewards after killing Turkulon 15 times. For instance, if someone has yet to receive the Feat-O-Plenty Food Trophy after 14 kills, then Turkulon will drop it on his next death. Similarly, if they only had the trophy after 14 kills, then the loot from the following Turkulon kill would include the pet, seat, and boots skin rewards.
Massive Turkey Leg - (100% Drop Chance) Daily Limit: 5 per day. Used to craft special Roasted Monstrous Turkey Dinner. Temporarily increases Constitution and Luck. Slowly recovers health. Potency scales depending on player level.
Feat-O-Plenty Food Trophy - (3% Drop Chance) Limit: One per event. Increases duration of all Food effects when placed in your house.
Turkuless Disgruntled Fowl Pet - (31% Drop Chance) Limit: One per event. Makes "gobble-gobble" sounds while it sits in your house.
Turkulon Egg Seat - (2% Drop Chance) Limit: One per week.
We’re especially thankful for the support of our players as we head into the holiday season! Thanks for your continued feedback. We’ll see you in Aeternum.
New World Update 1.7.2 downtime will begin at 11:00 PM PT (6:00AM UTC) on November 15 and includes the launch of the Turkulon event.

Fixed an issue that caused Brimstone Elite Named enemies to not drop Obsidian Gypsum.

Apophis' Treasure Trove is now a reward in the “A God Awakens” quest. Apophis no longer gives Weapon Mastery or experience on kill.
Desert Rose Prismabloom now always grants 1 or 2 Cyan Pigments and 1 or 2 Green Pigments. Players also have a chance to receive 1 or 2 Red Pigments.
TRADE SKILLS

Thanks for your support! We’ll see you in Aeternum.
Aeternum is an ever-evolving world, and as such, we continue our efforts in providing an assortment of ongoing new features, content, and changes. Similar to the activities leading up to our latest major update, we are approaching the release of our next large release and would like to invite you all to participate in the next cycle of our Public Test Realm (PTR)!
PTR
The Public Test Realm (PTR) is a limited-availability server-set that grants an early look at upcoming features. These preview builds are snapshots of upcoming major releases and are not final versions — you may encounter bugs, crashes, missing text, or other issues. Between our internal testing efforts and your reports, we hope to catch and resolve all serious issues before they reach the live servers. Hundreds of changes have already been made — with more to come — and the full release notes will be shared on release day. However, not every bug or feedback piece will be actioned on before release — some changes need time to be investigated further, and may arrive in a subsequent patch or two.
To help with the feedback process, all newly created PTR characters will have the opportunity to instantly level to select level-ranges outfitted with appropriate gear and items.
The PTR is now officially open. To maximize world population and encourage group play, we will open with two worlds available (“US East PTR 1” and “EU PTR 1”) for this playtest cycle, located within US East and EU Central regional datacenters respectively. You may have to change your client regional selection from the main menu in order to discover your intended test world. Existing test characters have been wiped for this cycle, to ensure thorough testing of the early game experience changes and ensure feedback is evaluated at the same difficulty benchmarks as we roll out new features across the next several weeks.
If you encounter a bug, exploit, or have suggestions to improve a feature or piece of content, we’d love to hear your feedback on our PTR sub-forum (you can also utilize our in-game feedback tool). We will do our best to address as much of your feedback as possible before the content update makes its way to our live servers. Your participation will help us to deliver awesome content and updates in the future!
MAJOR UPDATES
During this iteration of the PTR, we look forward to hearing your playtest feedback on the following changes:
NEW MUTATED EXPEDITION - STARSTONE BARROWS / AMRINE MASH-UP
This new take on Starstone Barrows includes a special appearance. Players will revisit parts of the Amrine Expedition and face both the intrepid Simon Grey and Foreman Nakashima. Challenge the Expedition to find out more.
CRAFTING AND REFINING STATION TIER CHANGES
We are making two major changes to improve the Trade Skill leveling experience:
The Forge, Outfitting Station, Workshop, and Arcane Repository now offer Azoth discounts for relevant recipes.
Tier 3 = 20% discount.
Tier 4 = 30% discount.
Tier 5 = 45% discount.
Certain recipes will no longer be gated behind tiers: Crafting Stations
ROLLING PTR UPDATES
Stay tuned to the PTR section of the forums for updates on when the following features will become available:
Attacking Companies: Up to 40 mercenaries.
Defending Companies: Up to 15 mercenaries.
LEADERBOARDS
Leaderboards will reward players, Companies, and Factions across the following categories:
Mutated Expeditions
Faction War
Vs. Environment
Vs. Players
Trade Skills
Every category contains subcategories. For example, Faction War includes Territory Control Score. Finish in the top 10 of any Leaderboard at the end of weekly, monthly, or quarterly rotations for exclusive skins, achievements, and titles. Rewards cannot be earned in the PTR.
PTR CLIENT ACCESS
This special preview client will be made available for download through the stand-alone Steam application, “New World Public Test Realm” (which should already be in your Steam library if you own the main game). When the test period is complete and the main New World game is updated with the previewed content, the PTR world will shut down and may be wiped clean. You will continue to see the New World PTR application in your Steam library, but there will not be an active server until the next time we announce a public test
PTR BACKSTORY LOADOUTS
Upon character creation on the PTR, players will be given multiple caches of special armor and weapons. Each cache has a designation based upon a general build and a main attribute: CON, DEX, INT, FOC, and STR.
To help manage the sudden onset of new items, do not open all provided caches at once, or you’ll risk becoming encumbered! Instead, equip all provided bags and then follow-up with opening each cache deliberately. Any undesired caches can be dropped or deposited into your personal settlement storage.
PTR FAQ
HOW DO I ACCESS THE NEW PTR?
Everyone with a copy of New World will be automatically granted access to the secondary PTR app. The PTR is not compatible with the live game, so you will need to download a separate client (and have the hard drive space required to support it). From there, we will have special worlds available within supported regions. Not all regions will initially be supported. Access is on a first come, first served basis. There may be queues.
CAN I PLAY WITH OR TRANSFER MY LIVE CHARACTERS TO THE PTR?
Unfortunately, no. These are separate ecosystems, so at this time it is not possible. However, to make testing easier, we will occasionally provide our play-testers with special accommodations such as instant levels, special gear, etc.
CAN I PROVIDE DESIGN FEEDBACK REGARDING WHAT’S INCLUDED ON THE PTR?
Preview game builds on the PTR are finished with their core development and are in their final phase of testing and bug fixing. Our main focus at this phase is improving quality, although we will appreciate any feedback you have to share.
I HAVE A PROBLEM; HOW CAN I CONTACT CUSTOMER SUPPORT?
Our policies and Code of Conduct cover the PTR, and in-game moderation will continue to be supported. Unfortunately, due to the temporary and potentially unstable nature of the PTR, general Customer Service assistance through both Live Chat and through the Support Website will not be available.
I DON’T WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PTR, CAN I REMOVE THE APP FROM MY LIBRARY?
Don’t worry, no offense taken. Players can manage visibility of the New World Public Test Realm Steam Library entry. Opening up the game options (right-click > Manage) offers the “Hide Game” function.
Thanks for your support and participation! We'll see you in Aeternum.
