Hi there. I got the question mentioned in the title.
It seems to me that the definition of the sandbox is too flexible for me to give a very brief answer. However, I will try to show where things stand.
The game area is divided into three areas. Each area is dedicated to one type of beverage, which means that the map is divided into zones of booze, wine, and beer. As you may have guessed or may remember from the demo, at the start we have access to only one of them. The ultimate goal, however, is to remove all boundaries and have complete freedom of movement all over the terrain. According to this, you will have two Berlin walls set up in the game, which you take down at roughly equal intervals, that is, after dealing with the first and second 30% of the main plot.
Most of the time you'll be running between workshops and crops; so we're not much different from farmer games in this area. We have this weird habit, which may be harmful, of adding a new feature to almost every quest. It results in ending the game with unlocked activities and systems which you can use at any time. For instance, you gain access to a casino, a football field, and a bar, and the area is infested with dozens of drunk and rambling random individuals you've never seen before.
So in conclusion, we have an area roughly half a square mile in size, where you can waste time at one of a dozen game mechanics. If that's enough, to meet the condition, then I have to admit that Booze Master is truly a sandbox.

Hi. Here comes a random photo of tits to get your attention.
Mateusz asked me who Jerry's competition is and how to get rid of it. You don't know who, you don't know why, but you want to get rid of it. That's good, it's always one man less. A wise question that I accidentally know the answer to. I just don't know if I want to share it.
Well, the fact that I confirm the existence of competition is a spoiler. Booze Master is, after all, a role-playing game focused around a small community. Hope you won't be offended if I don't point the finger at a creature trying to jump on Jerry's bandwagon. However, I would like to take the opportunity to ask you kindly not to be passionate about the mechanics of the rivalry. The institution of competition is only a pretext to diversify the gameplay focused directly on Jerry, i.e. your ability to grow plants and produce alcohol under time pressure.
From a technical point of view, the emergence of competition means meeting customer wishes. And the those will be generated so that each game will be a little different. In fact, the existence of an intelligent rival who would manipulate the assortment and prices would require you to act similarly to what we ask you to act with our challenge. It will be based on watching the indicators of several dozen characters. If I have to make a comparison, The Sims come to mind. Remember what you're obliged to do to get a promotion? Several requirements must be met simultaneously. It works similarly for us. If we meet all the client's requirements, they leave the competition and change the object of interest. But as it happens with relationships, you have to keep taking care of them. If we cease to meet the client's requirements, they will cease to be a client.
Is it taking the easy way on our part? I doubt it, it's not that easy. It takes hundreds of hours of dealing with the fucking balance issues. Perhaps it would be even harder if we wrote artificial intelligence, and believe me, Yaroslav is able to create a terminator. We decided that this would be more consistent with the system that dominates in the game. Booze Master has a pretty arcade vibe. We run and click, keeping an eye on the watch. In such conditions, it is better to work with a transparent checklist than to interpret market charts.

Hey, thanks for following. There are 400 sick people in the party now. We've made a poster for you in the French New Wave style.
Nostramadus is the character in Priest Simulator, Human Farm, Mercyful Flames, and Your Principal. This gentleman is our little tribute to the French culture that we soak up with from time to time. He had Serge Gainsbourg's face for a while, but we think we'd be breaking the law. A poison frog trapped in a glass ball does not threaten anyone.
Our friends have just released a new baking simulator game!
Bakery Simulator - Get up before dawn and see what it's like to be a baker! Learn to bake several dozen types of bread. Use realistic bakery machines. Deliver orders to stores, earn, and invest. Use original recipes or experiment with ingredients.
As promised, with the last day of every month I post a video with Q&A. I'm on a short vacation, so it was quick this time. Video is in Polish, but there are English subtitles included.
Do not be afraid, we are well aware of the fact that the moonshining process is as simple and short as kiss your cut hand. But that's just for the demo. In full version, making and selling alcohol is going to be so complicated you'll be OVERWHELMED.
In the picture you see our secret encrypted plan for moonshine, wine and beer.
I've promised to start publishing monthly videos with the beginning of the 2022, and so far I am delivering on that promise. We're recording the videos in Polish, but there are English subtitles included.
I'm a bit clumsy, but still learning. Here you go:
Since we are dealing with hobby themed events we simply can't let down moonshining hobbyists and enthusiasts and once again we are sending some poor soul to broadcast our boozeware.
