Hi everyone, there were a few things we noticed not quite right with the 1.0 release and have addressed the following in this patch:
- Fixed a bug that stopped players who joined in progress getting their full skill tree bonuses - When a player dies in multiplayer, you will now have a short delay before spectating others - Medic invulnerability has been boosted to 3 seconds / 4 seconds / 5 seconds respectively - 'Kill the boss' text will now disappear when the boss is defeated - Updated game engine version to reduce likelihood of crashes - Specialist starting sniper rifle can now be reloaded properly using the ammo crate - Building icons will grey-scale correctly when they cannot be placed - Fixed a bug where no map would be selected automatically when in high scores - Specialist movement speed skill is now fixed and you will now move 10% faster - Fixed a bug with faster reloading that meant reloads would take longer >.> - Reduced amount of cash medic generates from other player's kills - Fixed a bug with medic 'An apple a day' to correctly award 25hp each level - The unlock all achievements achievement will now unlock instantly once criteria is met - Fixed a bug with the UI that hid player getting hit texture animations (red around screen) - Fixed a bug with the bridge map CCTV cameras - Various other fixes
We are so happy to announce the release of 1.0 version of the game. There is a lot of updates which include:
- Skill tree & Level up system - 4 new playable classes: Medic, Heavy, Specialist & Engineer - Earn xp at the end of games to power up your characters - Unlock powerful max abilities such as the gun drone (Engineer), Invulnerability (Medic), Berserk mode (Heavy) & Critical damage (Specialist)
We have made a bunch of rebalances to make the game, in general, a little easier to play:
- Normal infected deal 30% less damage to players and buildings - Grabbing zombie deals no damage on grab - Soupex boss has less health, and deals less damage in all forms - Barkrex boss deals less damage to players and buildings - Hell hounds do 50% less damage to players and buildings - Cash modifier on easy has been increased from 1.25x to 1.5x - Witch enemy has 10% decreased AOE damage - Witch enemy deals 30% less damage to players
In other news we have revamped the upgraded weapon shaders, so they look a little bit better than before :)
We've been able to identify and resolve some of the major problems the game has had for some time. Full list of bugs fixed in this patch below:

This latest update brings BARKREX into the game. This boss is a master of dogs and is incredibly dangerous! He will unleash his hell hounds upon you, and won't stop until he has been slain!
- Every wave ending with a 5 (5, 15, 25 etc) there will be a hell hound wave - Every hell hound wave Barkrex has a 50% chance to spawn - Multiple bug fixes
At long last we have released the new mall map for you all to wreak carnage on!
This is an early access version of the map, as we intend to do a lot more including letting players access and watch short movie clips in the cinema.
- Roam and explore the new environment over two full floors - Find a suitable place to build a base, pick a shop of your choice, a secluded part of the map or wherever the hell you want! - An elevator will open it's doors in the middle of the map each round that will enable players to move up/down floors as they please. All players must be in the elevator at the same time. - Sardoche shop, lol
