The Orphans of War have arrived, fighting for your their own goals and pledging no alliance to either Horus nor the Emperor. Are you ready to lead your warband?
New Faction: Orphans of War The Heresy's brutality and far reach across the galaxy left many Space Marines stranded without a Primarch, a Legion or a cause to believe in, outside of the grand schemes of Horus or the Emperor. These Orphans of War became the galaxy's boogeymen: some fought the Legions on their own terms; others ruled over petty kingdoms; others became nothing more than pirates.
New Event: 'Monsters and Martyrs' Isstvan III and V are but ash and Horus has set his plan in motion. In the wake of his Heresy, both Loyalist and Traitors begin to find something new... Space Marines with no Legion, renegades, exiles and abandoned warriors who have formed warbands across the galaxy to fight for their own goals.
Three collectable Warlords lead the sail the stars in their own desperate missions:
● Atesh Tarsa: A survivor of Isstvan V and an apothecary who found a new home aboard the Iron Hands vessel Sisypheum. Cut off from his Legion, he now saves the lives of his new brothers in and out of combat. ● Endryd Haar: A former World Eater who never got the Butcher's Nails. He massacred both Loyalists and Traitors on his way to Terra pursuing a personal quest to kill Horus himself. ● Ulrach Branthan: Captain of the Sisypheum, one of the few vessels that escaped Isstvan V. Branthan didn't escape the Drop Site Massacre without being fatally wounded, and only being bound to an ancient artefact called The Iron Heart was keeping him alive afterwards.

Featuring heroes from the Shattered Legions and Blackshields, these independent Astartes warbands roam the stars fighting for their own goals. Remus Ventanus arrives to punish Word Bearers and Daemons alike. The Sons of Lorgar put forth the abominable Mutant Astartes, soulless and thirsting for blood.
This patch also brings the following fixes: - Aeonid Thiel’s ability will now correctly create a Theoretical when targeting units with Shield. - Ingenuus Squad can now target itself with its ability. - Mantle of Ultramar played by Canis Vertex will no longer buff Titan Weapons. - Several translation fixes.
"Ours is the better way" – Roboute Guilliman, Primarch of the Ultramarines, XIII Legion
The Horus Heresy: Legions continues its fourth major content expansion, The Battle of Calth. The Ultramarines come forward today with courage and honour. Are you ready to fight for the Imperium?
New Legion: Ultramarines Hailing from the distant Five Hundred Worlds of Ultramar, the XIII Legion is the most numerous of the Legiones Astartes. They pride themselves in their martial discipline that looks not for mastery of any field, but for total adaptability to respond to changing situations.
New Event: 'Betrayal at Calth' The Ultramarines muster at Calth by order of Horus, unaware of the impending betrayal by the Word Bearers, sent to cripple them so that they cannot join their Loyalist brothers in the fight against the Warmaster. Take part in one of the defining episodes of the Horus Heresy!
Three collectable Warlords lead the hosts of Ultramar in the bloody fight against the traitors:
● Aeonid Thiel: Bearing a red helmet as a mark of Censure for running theoreticals on how to fight against Astartes, Sergeant Thiel's stratagems turned out to be crucial for the survival of the Legion during their first taste of betrayal. ● Marius Gage: The First Chapter Master of the Ultramarines lost his hand to a Daemon during the opening attack on Calth. He would go on to command the Legion's flagship, The Macragge's Honour, into an epic pursuit in the warp. ● Roboute Guilliman: The Primarch of the XIII Legion, one of the most loyal sons of the Emperor. His military prowess was matched by his superior statesmanship, with which he built the vast Real of Ultramar for the Imperium.
New Trait: Courage The Ultramarines proved to be able to make a historic comeback at Calth. This has been distilled in a new trait, Courage: if the opponent controls more units than you when you play a card with Courage, it will trigger an additional effect to help you turn the tide of battle–– or at least, delay the inevitable making the traitors pay for it!
