Start as a Mercenary and increase your reputation among a chosen faction. Completing various tasks to one faction will lower the reputation of the other. This will allow the players to choose between factions, or stay completely neutral to both!
Class System remade
Your class is based on your weapon and armor you choose to use. Weapons have their own special abilities and weapon arts. For example if you want to play as a tank, you should equip your character with a shield and heavy armor with defensive stat points. There are many combinations that you can create to play how you want to build your character.

Swimming has been added to the game. Players are now able to swim and dive!
All players start now with a Newharbor Teleport. This teleport allows players to teleport back to Newharbor if they get stuck for example.
Magic and witchcraft has found its place in the hands of the mercenary. Players are now able to wield Staves and Wands, casting elemental spells or if they come across with darker powers even raise the dead from their graves.
For players to unleash the powers within the magical weapons they need to craft runes. Rune Crafting is the newest crafting adaptation for Past Fate allowing players to craft different runes from Fire Runes to Death Runes. Rune Crafting is possibly to be changed later on.
Lets not forget that cooking was also added to Past Fate so every hungry traveler should visit the cooking fires and make some good potato stew, if they have gathered the ingredients of course!
Game Improvements and changes summary:
Magic weapons have been added with magic skills (Fireball, Summon Undead etc.)
Runecrafting tables have been added. With Runecrafting tables players are able to make Runes needed for spells. Keep in mind Runecrafting is possibly to be changed in future patches based on feedback.
Cooking Fires have been added. Cooking fire enables basic cooking
Praying Altar has been added [EXPERIMENTAL]. Praying altar is where players can sacrifice goods for gods and receive blessings. Highly experimental
Dual wielding weapons added
Characters finally do save so players no longer need to start their adventures from the beginning each time they want to play
We thought that the early play felt little bit more empty so we wanted to dedicate this patch for fixing a lot of gameplay and immersion problems.
We have also added every weapon to have different skills that can be used by keys 1, 2 and Middle Mouse button. Also Two-Handed weapons have been now added to game.
Game Improvements and changes summary:
Player statistics on level up has been changed. No longer does players get a lot of health or strength when leveling up, instead gear affects stats and attributes more than it used to.
Added skills for every weapon-type
Added Two-Handed weapons and daggers in-game. For 2H Weapons this includes 2H Axes, Polearms, Greatswords and so on.
While having shield on your back and equipping two-handed weapons the players shield will stay on back to give stats at same style than having sword and shield equipped.
More early game quest rewards added as questing felt boring for not giving out so many different variations of equipment.
More side quests added that give out great rewards for players

Painting table got some new item changes
Health regen has been adjusted, making players to actually need to collect berries and/or buy food or potions from merchants.
Fishing has been added to Past Fate. By fishing players are able to get fish needed for cooking and weeds needed for alchemy. Fishing is going to be improved over time and we are going to add rare world bosses that can be lured out with fishing.
Blackfang Village and Ironbanner Docks has been added to become playable in the game. These areas contain much more deadlier foes and are considered as world dungeons. Gather your groups and complete elite quests added to Blackfang Village and Ironbanner Docks.
Swamp in Westborough got huge improvement and has now more quests and secrets for players to experience.
Kingswall outskirts is now playable and offers quests and secrets for Morsath faction.
Keep in mind these changes are currently for Morsath faction only

Patch 0.3.5 makes improvements to combat and social aspect of the game. Enemy targeting now properly locks to target and you should no longer go past enemy when attacking.
Social aspect of the game got changes as you can now invite your friends to your group. Chat improvements have been made and we added nameplates on top of player characters. Nameplates are optional and can be turned off in social settings located on chat panel as cogwheel icon. Past Fate now also properly shows your Steam display names on chat and on nameplates.
Players can now also form guilds of their own. Keep in mind guild system is still in really early phase of testing.
We also added Raspberries and blueberries to the game, by collecting these players can eat them to regain health or use them to craft potions.

We were not quite happy with the setting of Newharbor, making players not feel like the zone was open world and that they are ready to explore, as the old setting trapped players between undead and mountains where the only way trough was to engage the undead. This also made it annoying to return quests as players were instantly getting swarmed with the undead enemies. There has now been a huge revamp of Newharbor as we made it a lot more open and we also connected it properly to Kingdom of Edaria.
We also added lootable chests around the world that makes exploring really rewarding. These chests contain random generated items of a loot set the players can collect!

Valfalk players gain access to sacrificial altar where they can get limited time buffs to help with their journey. Same kind of system is going to get added to Morsath players soon
Since last update we have been building skills system that allows players to progress their skill levels. For example every quest you complete gives experience to knowledge, every item you pick up gives experience to gathering and every time you hit an enemy with weapon you also gain combat experience.
Hitting certain levels in skills gives players useful rewards or increases their attributes for some amount, making leveling up skills rewarding.
Game Improvements and changes summary:
Character Skills system has been added to the game. Players can gain Skill levels and progress their desired skill to gain rewards. Skills tab opens with (J) key on default.
Valfalk Faction is now available, also first Battleground has been added to game and currently serves as faction based all-out war Quest system has been redone and should no longer give fatal errors. Added new minimap compass that displays Quest givers, Crafting/Painting Tables and Vendors. Animation improvements and bug fixes have also been applied
Game Improvements and changes summary:
Valfalk faction has been enabled! Valfalk faction is not as nearly complete as Morsath so there will be missing quest givers, NPC:s and craftables.
Battleground has been added, currently the battleground is enabled trough Battlemasters in starting villages. Battleground is currently all-out faction war without objectives, timers or queues.
Remade Quest System. Quests also now shows the rewards players will get.
Quest Log (L) has been added where players can read more about the Quests and see the rewards.
Minimap Compass added that displays Quest givers, stations and vendors (Will get expanded in later updates).
