The Shiny & Polished Update (1.0.4834) + 30% OFF

Ahoy, fellow Radius Stalkers! Weapon hygiene is just as important as your own, and while there’s clearly a lack of baths in Pechorsk, your guns can get all the care they need now. In case you’re not that into cleaning and rather buy new stuff, there is also a brand-new Heckler & Koch MP5 available in the shop. We’ve done our own batch of tidying up too by fixing over a dozen bugs.

Flash news
A 9x19mm Parabellum submachine gun, the MP5K was added to the shop. Don’t sway, shoot away!
Autumn Sale has just started, which means that you treat your friends with a copy of Into the Radius and spend the change on something else, thanks to the 30% discount!
Rub and scrub
Improve your guns’ condition by manually cleaning them. Use a cleaning rod and paper to clean a gun with damage within the blue durability bar (no less than 85%). Switch to the oil spray and brush to deal with damage within the yellow durability bar (no less than 50%).
Clean anytime and anywhere, but make sure you have everything you need! Turn to the shop if you want to repair a gun that has over 50% damage. Also, oil spray has to be restocked after several applications.

Changes and improvements
  • The button controls on Rift/Index/Cosmos are no longer symmetrical. We decided to get rid of those inconvenient wrist buttons. Now, one hand controls the weapons IN BOTH hands. The other hand’s buttons toggle Inspect and Game menu, and enabling Inspect unlocks attachments as well. Quite handy!
  • Reversed the enemy spawn distance back to where it was before the last update.
  • Changed the two-handed weapon handling, which should work great with Groza and AUG.
  • Increased damage to SKS while using the bayonet.
  • The non-dominant hand is no longer regripping pistols if the primary one has let go of the double grip.
  • Highly requested fixes
  • Reciprocating and non-reciprocating bolt animations.
  • Artifacts spawning inside anomalies or on the ground.
  • Gripping pose issue when grabbing foldable stocks, ammo, headlamp etc.
  • Grabbing of items from backpack on back under special conditions.
  • Ammo counter in Iz81 and mosin to properly display chambered rounds.
  • Spawns being demolished by physics on game load or menu open.
  • Saiga mag ammo load order.
  • Gripping knives after destruction.
  • Being able to remove the pin from the grenade without holding it in hand.
  • Melee enemy being able to hit through walls and too far upwards.
  • Sawn off shotgun barrel detaching from handle.
That’s it for now! We hope you like the new features and the changes we’ve made, and will share your thoughts with us :) Be brave, stay curious!

The Grips & Tricks Update (1.0.42)

Greetings, Radius Stalkers! We know you love the challenge, but not when it comes to controls, and we get it. This is why we've done our homework on various grips, inventory, and many other things.

Grippin’ all the way

- Mosin users cry no more! The secondary grip is no longer dropped on releasing the trigger hand.
- Speaking of grips, now you don't have to worry about the second hand when it comes to pistols' aim. Also, check out the dope red dots scope!
- Distance Grip has become more sophisticated and works in two stages now.
- Grabbing unwanted items must be annoying. To avoid it, Press and Hold TRIGGER to select the item, then Press Grip to put it into your hand.

Changes and improvements

- Efficient inventory but make it fashion! We've altered the amount and position of the slots on the vests. You can find the slot for the probe pack attached to the arm, while the chest has two slots for your favorite items. The Ammo belt is out of season, and the Backpack trigger is now located in the left Shoulder area, while the Primary weapon - in the right.
- Hurray! The maintenance fee is gone! It was quite controversial and confusing, so we decided to let it go.
- Ah, the good old days... And the item inspection popup that can be opened by a simple push of the button on the wrist again! No more menu hassle.
- Easy mode is more helpful and merciful to the new players. You'll get the messages informing why the gun is not firing. Pro tip: check the safety switch.
- Lower repair costs and duration. They’ve become streamlined and fairer overall.
- Added the Red dot sight suitable for most of the pistols.

Highly requested fixes

- “childActor” bug with Iz81
- Empty hand index positions
- Body rotation
- Correct ammo amount on shotguns in inspect

Flash news

- Thanks to your feedback, we know how to develop the game further. So stay tuned for the monthly updates!
- Everyone loves a good bargain, so in case you’ve been waiting to spoil yourself or your friends, buying Into the Radius next week sounds like a great idea ;)

Phew, that's quite the list! Yet we're nowhere close to stopping, so play and share your thoughts, and we'll see you in Pechorsk!

Into the Radius VR - [ITR]Vector
Update 1.0.4054

Fixes
  • Fixed issues with hide player body, hands disappearing
  • Fixed Mimic photo missions, improved camera usability, range and messages
  • Fixed Time bomb artifact activating from slightest touch, now can be properly sold and delivered if handled with some care
  • Distortion anomaly no longer damages items
  • Fixed injector making nonstop sound
  • Removed invisible fragment from Dorms

Improvements and Changes
  • Removed lines that show Distance Grip, now only a circle indicator appears on objects. Only objects in your view can be grabbed to prevent accidental grabs from shelves.
  • Changed how Controller Based movement works - controller rotation by itself is no longer affecting the direction, rather its relation to the head. (Imagine it working like a clock handle, you need to move the hand relative to your center to change movement direction.) This allows to take backpack or operate guns without awkward movement direction flip.
  • Changed how Head direction based movement works. Now you can properly compensate for looking around with input and not loose sprint.
  • Changed Body/ Head follow algorithm. Now it really follows head one to one unless viewed directly down.
  • Player hands moved to more closely match the real world hand position.
  • New Graphics settings for Low, Med and High to provide more difference in performance and quality
