We have changed how the sidebar in the main menu behaves. Here's how it used to work:
The sidebar would be maximized / open from the beginning.
It would never open or close on its own.
It would save, with a "now saving" indicator, whether or not it had been maximized by the player, and stay that way.
There would be no indication that new items had been added, if minimized by the player.
Here's the new behaviour:
The sidebar will be closed when you open the game, with one exception.
It will be maximized / open when you return to the main menu after playing.
It will be maximized / open the second time you start the game.
After launching the game, if the sidebar is closed (this in not the exact second game launch), and there are new items to see, there will be an indication on the up arrow (maximize / open button).
We no longer save the minimize / maximize state of the sidebar.

1. Fixed an issue where some card icons appeared misaligned.
2. Fixed an issue where the "Light Dome Supreme" skill effect was functioning abnormally.
3. Fixed an issue where the pre-calculated food consumption could sometimes differ from the actual amount consumed.
4. Fixed an issue where Happiness calculation could become abnormal under certain conditions.
5. Fixed an issue where Mana Charging could behave abnormally in some situations.
6. Fixed an issue where Apprentices and Owl Messengers could become stuck under certain conditions.

\[Content Adjustments]
1. Added a new card "Storage Cabinet". The blueprint can be obtained through research after reaching a certain reputation level.
2. Added Happiness boost effects to some character traits.
3. Reduced the Academy reputation level required to unlock the technologies for Tablets, Resource Crates, and Dimensional Boxes.
4. Apprentices who have completed their assessment cannot change their target profession; corresponding validation has been added to enforce this.
5. Added an "Feedback" button to the ESC menu.
6. Optimized the descriptions of Micro-space, Mana Core, and Dimensional Crystal.
Some of you may have heard through my Discord or Twitch streams, or maybe through a Kaif video / YouTube comments, about "The Halloween 2025 Update".
Welp I've been working on it and it's very close to ready, but I did get sick and had a few other setbacks from... life stuff.
I don't want to repeat the mistake I made on launch, which was not getting it playtested nearly enough for stability and quality of life. So instead of rushing this patch out for Halloween in the next couple days, I'm delaying the release til mid-November.
I know basically most people didn't even know this was a thing, but for the handful of people that already own the game (or are weird enough to look at news posts of a game they haven't bought) I just wanted to give a little bitta clarity.

Hello! We have finally rolled out the super update that people have been asking for the most.
We now support 14 languages. 14! And it was the players who helped us with the translation! The community did the impossible (in our opinion) and translated our game into a bunch of languages.
We added almost 300 artworks to the final episodes. We fixed a bunch of minor bugs.
Also, some players complained about the language selection screen freezing. We fixed that too.

Minor Features & Changes:
The floor tile differences between towns have been toned down slightly for a more cohesive visual look.
Balancing:
The probability of the phone ringing each in-game hour while the cafe is open has been reduced from 50% to 10%, lowering the frequency of calls for better pacing.
The money reward for completing delivery quests has been increased from 2x to 4x the chosen item’s sell price, making phone deliveries more rewarding.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue where Toffee Cake and Blueberry Cake had their item data mixed up.
Resolved an issue where some menu slots were not interactable due to UI layering conflicts.
Fixed an issue where some crafting item pin buttons were not interactable (also caused by UI layering).
Removed Cheat Mode, which was unintentionally included in the public build. (Oops)
Fixed a bug where pausing and resuming the game while within an interactable zone could cause the game to freeze.
Fixed an issue where continuously scrolling left or right in the inventory could cause items to expand in scale.
