Fellow Dwarves! Many more quality-of-life improvements are on the way with this year's Easter patch.

Easter Mode
For the next couple weeks, Easter mode will be enabled, and you will experience the following changes to the game:
  1. Atmosphere - The environment has a different look and feel.
  2. Mobbits - Mobbits are larger than normal, and provide more meat!
  3. Easter Eggs - You will find easter eggs sprawled about everywhere, even hidden in the walls! You can now harvest easter eggs using the gather instruction, and they can be stored on tables similar to meals. How many can you find? (Total is at the bottom of the Stats window)
As usual, seasonal modes can always be disabled in the options menu under Gameplay > Seasonal.

Patch Notes
Features & Design Changes:
  1. Current Actions - Rearranged some UI for selected dwarves, and better shows what their current actions are.
  2. Mouse Control Scheme - Added two different options under Gameplay to change which mouse button pans the camera and other controls. This is only relevant when One-Button mode isn't on.
  3. Ignore Resource Restrictions - Added a new setting in the Options menu under Gameplay that will allow you to place building instructions even if you don't have the required resources. This may be preferable if you're one who likes to plan their base ahead of time.
  4. Classes - Switching class to Warrior automatically holds the dwarf until you decide what to do with them. We'll be experimenting with this behaviour to see if it is preferable to leaving them unheld. Also added a highlight when selecting a new class for which class is currently chosen.
  5. Tutorials - Polished, improved tutorial steps & explanations, and added other important elements that were missed. Also introduced 'responsive' tutorials outside of the Tutorial Adventure for anything that was missed/skipped. These responsive tutorials can be turned off in the Options menu under Gameplay.
  6. Campaign - Revamped a few levels including Windy Rivers, improved dialog & made the hint signs more consistent.
  7. Skirmish mode - Different goblin teams will now feature different shades of skin. Also fixed some UI bugs, improved AI & removed generation glitches.
  8. Spring Capacity - Added notification if you try to spawn a dwarf but you're at spring capacity.
  9. Accomplishments - Monuments now feature a button that allows you to look at you accomplishments (stats) for the specific map & playthrough.
  10. Fog-of-War - With lighting quality set to high, the fog-of-war now has atmospheric soft edges (see image below).


Fixes & Improvements:
  1. Signs - No longer pause the game when interacted with. Text will also appear immediately regardless of whether right clicking or left clicking, for consistency.
  2. Overriding Decisions - Fixed a bug where occasionally the player's decision to move a unit would be ignored if they were in battle.
  3. Campaign - Fixed some issues with certain maps including a problem with the offering chest in Smuggle-Me-Timbers.
  4. Fishing - Under certain circumstances, Foragers would continue fishing in removed zones.
  5. Tunnels - Fixed some issues with tunnels and entering new levels, and the associated button appearing when it shouldn't.
  6. Fixed various bugs with dwarf & goblin AI, including reducing some stubbornness for dropping items in storage, idleness, and reducing AI units inclination to wander across the map such as in caverns mode.
  7. Various other Quality-of-Life improvements, including a 'Select All' button in the campaign when choosing dwarves to enter the next map.

Idling to Rule the Gods - Ryu82
- Added a small easter event. It adds an event campaign for 2 weeks where you can find pet stones and easter eggs. Like usual, you will be able to get a free token and some mats from the easter eggs. You will also gain a free 100 event currency from daily draws.
- Added a token improvement for the god power pet for after it is evolved. The improvement will increase its power to god power campaigns to 100%, its god power gain can be higher than 1 independend on nightmare, and you will get more god power from it per feeding depending on the total time it has spent in god power campaigns.
- Added a new patreon Pet from Kimihiro64. Its name is Pignata and you can bash it open every day for rebirth bacon.
- Capped the pet bonus for RTI for alchemists and blacksmiths to 0.9% per class level (136,59% maxed) and for other classes to 1.5% per class level (155.06% maxed). That is the current upper limit for all but the Seed pet and means no real change for now, but makes it easier to add pets with higher class bonuses in the future.
- Added 4% more dungeon exp from the patreons Elliwood and Victor.
- Fixed a few bugs (some values didn't update right, game crash with fawn boss, typos and text issues)
RIN: The Last Child - Space Fox Games


Greetings friends!

Welcome to the very first devlog of RIN. Today we want to tell you about the game we have been working on since 2020 - and we are super excited to do so!

RIN: The Last Child belongs to the Metroidvania genre. Our goal was to create something unique about Rin, her story, and the World surrounding her. We wanted to form and keep the dark fairytale style and vibe around the title - we could not do it without the Magic! Its World is full of the power of Aspects, monsters, and hidden secrets. Exploring it will guide you through The Teller's plans and the tragic consequences of his and other Children's actions. You will discover not only the background of the story, but you will be able to decide about the fate of the mythical World.

Wait - you have mentioned the Magic..? Yes!
Although we did not mean to reinvent the wheel, we still wanted to implement something new. We focused on the spellcrafting system, which allows Rin to create spells using the power of collected Aspects. They might come in handy while defeating various opponents!
The second weapon of this demigoddess is her power of free will. She cannot change the past, but her - that means yours - decisions will affect the state of the World. Choose your path wisely.

This update is focused on fixing bugs related to the main mechanics of the game - building ships and shelling them with cannons, but some other old bugs have also been fixed.
  • Changed the system for generating collision masks when generating ship sprites. So using the "Generate ship sprites" setting, hits on your ship will be calculated more accurately.
  • AI ships now use pre-generated sprites and collision masks to match their designs. This will also result in a more accurate calculation of hits against AI ships.
  • Changed calculation of projectile trajectories in construction mode. This should reduce the chance that the cannonballs will fly past the structure of ship.
  • Fixed a bug due to which, with a certain installation method, oblique masts could remain flying in the air, having lost their support.
  • Fixed calculation of air in the hold. Previously, due to errors in the calculation, the buoyancy of the ship could take on strange values.
  • Fixed a bug due to which 24 pounder guns could not be correctly counted.
  • Fixed visual shape inconsistency and collision of some land areas.
  • Fixed bugs in the "economy" of cities, leading to an almost instantaneous accumulation of resources sufficient to spawn the largest ships. This fix led to some mixed results, so further edits to the "economy" of cities are likely.

EZ2ON REBOOT : R - SQUARE PIXELS
Hello, this is EZ2ON TEAM.

A new update has been deployed. Restart Steam to download the patch.
Here's the changelog since April 14.

Things you should know
1. If you pause and resume during the playthrough, the combo will reset. Also, you will not be able to save a replay for that run - Note that the change will affect Standard mode only.
Consequently, the 'ALL COMBO' lamp in the result screen will be renamed into 'NO MISS'.

2. Pressing 'F1' when mode selecting now returns you to the title screen. - For the 'PRESTIGE PASS' system theme, the intro cutscene will play.

3. Increased the maximum note speed to 20.

4. Pressing 'F9' during the playthrough now doubles the current note speed. 'F10' will halve the current note speed.

Hi everyone,
Last week we worked on a new dungeon type for the Artisan’s Keep quest pool. This is a lava/fire themed dungeon which is always located at the mountains.

Artisan Master tells our hero that there is a volcanic activity at a certain mountain area. Gemstone experts want to go there for an expedition. They suspect this volcanic activity may unearth valuable stones. But there is this problem of monsters. They want the hero to deal with the matter and make the caves safe for the scientists.



There are some new cave dressings for this dungeon. One of them is Magma Fracture which is a trap-like terrain type. If anyone steps on it, he takes fire damage. Flying monsters or monsters with fire immunity are not affected.

Another object is Toxic Fungus which is an exploding mushroom. When attacked, it explodes and poisons adjacent areas.

The unpassable lava tiles (unless you fly), as well as minable ores and crystals can be found here.

New golem types are also added. These are metal golems including copper, bronze, silver and iron golems for now. They move slowly but have lots of defense. They are immune to poison and bleed but vulnerable to lightning. They drop metal ores according to their type. Giant mites and metal golems along with the bats are the usual inhabitants of this dungeon.



There are some new dungeon room layouts to increase variation for the cave like dungeons. We tried to make it more natural and chaotic like real caves while avoiding choke points to encourage use of interesting tactics.

We also added bunch of new items including Sharktooth Ring, Ruby Ring, Jade Ring to enrich the shop at the Artisan’s Keep.



On the polishing front, we improved the visual effects of poison spray, cone of frost and fire breath talent stones so they look more cone-like.
