For this update, we’ve added more enemies and made the quests more random. Check it out as part of the Steam Next Fest.
Relentless combines the questing of high fantasy RPG, a roguelite gameplay, and a retro 16-bit side-scrolling platformer format. Similar to something like FTL, you only have a limited number of weeks (i.e. runs) to save the world. You will get different endings and permanent unlocks depending on how you did. A typical game cycle takes about 2-3 hours, and contains different quests depending on your choices. It should take the average player about 7~8 cycles to get to the “true” ending.
What’s New:
1. This update has a randomized questing system: Start every game cycle with different quests available to you. 2. We’ve added more and smarter enemies to this update. We will continue to add up to 100 enemies to the game in the coming months. 3. We’ve implemented a greater variety of levels. Take a look!

Reminder: switching to the test branch
In the Steam client, right-click on the game from your library and select "Properties". Select the "BETAS" tab. Select the "test" branch listed in the dropdown menu under "Select the beta you would like to opt into".
The game then should automatically update to the test version.
To switch back to the public branch, just select "None" in the betas dropdown.

the progress of CubeCube has been updated to the boss of Ying Long, but there are still many levels that are in an unfinished version, and I will go back and refine the level details after the overall level structure is completed, and start to make some of the randomized levels.
