We’re back after a looong time of silence - really sorry about that!! 🙇 We were laser-focused on Halve, making progress every single day to bring you something exciting - a short gameplay demo that showcases the beginning of the game! The HALVE Demo is available NOW on the Steam Demo page!

Over the past few months, we have spent countless hours polishing everything, updating each level, and fixing as many bugs as possible to bring you the best game we could. This is, without a doubt, the best state the game has ever been in, and the whole team is just so excited to show you what we've been working on.

By the way, it would mean a lot if you actually left a review for us on the Demo page if you end up trying it out, as we really want to know if the experience was enjoyable to you 💙

Also, since our team is very small, we most likely didn’t manage to catch every single glitch, bug, or issue while working on the game, so if you notice something that is off, broken, or just have any suggestions, join our Community Discord server and share your feedback with us! Also, just before launching this demo, we had an exciting time at Comic Con Baltics expo, where we were showcasing Halve in a booth to hundreds of visitors. That was way beyond exciting, as we got to talk with so many players and fans alike, and see how each and every one of you reacted to the game. Changes in this version of the demo:

• Added the rocket, missile, laser, and machinegun weapons.
  
• Each pilot now has their own specific starting weapon, and this is shown on the pilot select screen.
  
• The level selection screen now shows the amount of time you need to survive for each level.
  
• You can now view scores for all available levels on the leaderboard screen.
  
• The fourth level now has different music. I plan to have different audio tracks for each level for the full game release.

Did I forget to write the news about the demo coming out? Ohh. Well...it's out! And it got another update today!

• Now when writing books, one of three new tracks written for each genre of literature is played.
  
• Added close buttons for all interface screens. Except for the friends view menu - I plan to redo it completely one day.
  
• Fixed some bugs in English localization.

• Add controller and steam deck support. Given the amount of work involved, this update will not be coming anytime soon.
  
• Change the skipping of cutscenes so that the player can't accidentally skip them.
  
• Finalize the book writing interface.

Hi everyone! We are so thrilled to share this demo with you, and we hope you'll enjoy wandering through the streets of Pompeii and solve its mysteries!

It's a special project mixing adventure and puzzle mechanics with storytelling. The world and enigmas are based on real historical sources and were created in collaboration with a Pompei expert from the famous Institut le Rosey. Their students even participated by helping to create musics, game designs and so much more...

It's definitely an adventure game first, but we hope you learn something about ancient rome while playing ːsteamhappyː

Hi everyone,

The game was originally supposed to launch on the 4th of June (today at time of writing), but due to some ongoing issues with Valve Index controllers I've had delay the release for a couple of weeks.

The new release date is Wednesday the 18th June.

It was a tough decision to make, but the two extra weeks will give me time to fully resolve the issue and add some extra overall polish to the game.

We appreciate your patience and want to thank everyone who's wishlisted and spread the word about the game so far, your support means a lot to us.
