This game update focuses on new content, system improvements, and an overall enhanced gaming experience.

Major Updates

Mode Update
-Survival Mode-
In Survival Mode, you must survive by defeating incoming enemies.
After 20 minutes, the final boss appears, and defeating the final boss clears the stage.
A boss appears every 4 minutes after the start.
If you fail to defeat a boss within the time limit, the bosses will accumulate, increasing the difficulty, so be careful.
When the game ends, the scores are recorded on the scoreboard in descending order.

Card List Additional Update
New buffs and attack abilities have been added to the card system.
-Movement Speed Increase
A buff that increases Serke's movement speed has been added.
Movement speed can be increased by up to 40%.
-Attack Ability
Attack abilities have been added to the card list.
If you select an attack ability card, you can use it in that stage even if it's not equipped in your abilities.
-LV2 Attack Ability Added
An enhanced form of the attack ability, LV2, has been added.
LV2 can only be used by selecting a card.

Detailed Update Contents

-Challenge Mode
The stage selection image for Time Attack has been modified.
-Enemy Addition
A mine with a slow effect has been added.
Claymore has been added.
-Visuals
'Management Device' display effect has been added to the lobby section.
A guide arrow has been added to the tutorial map's 이동지점 (movement point).
The range of the practice enemy for the tutorial counter has been reduced.
A directional arrow has been added to some areas of Stage 2-3.
A title text has been added to the status display screen when paused.
The mash effect that appears when an enemy is hit has been modified.
All hit effects that appear when an enemy is hit have been modified.
The board status UI in the setup menu has been changed.
Stats that increase when a chipset is equipped are displayed in green, and stats that decrease are displayed in red.
Overdrive effect improved: The effect has been changed to make it clearer that Overdrive is in use when activated.
When activated, an 'in-use' effect is displayed on the UI.
The card system's 'Reset' text has been changed to 'Reroll' and placed in a more visible location.
-Bugs
Fixed an issue where the sound effects did not work correctly when Challenge Mode was activated.
-Convenience
Modified so that menus are not selected immediately on the title screen.
Changed so that you can click to check ability options without selecting a slot in Abilities.
Changed to select slots by operating the Q and E keys instead of the movement keys.
Unavailable cost values are displayed in red.
-Controller Button Changes
Basic attack has been changed from the RB button to the A button.
When attacking an enemy with Rifle and Gatling modes, you will now face the direction of the nearest enemy.
The weapon change button has been changed from the B button to the RB button.
The dash dodge button has been changed from the A button to the B button.
For those using a custom controller, resetting will change the buttons to the modified ones.
-Balance
Gatling mode damage has been slightly reduced.
SP recovery amount has been increased for melee weapon normal attacks.
Overdrive gauge charge amount has been increased for melee weapon attacks.
The cooldowns of melee weapon skills have been slightly reduced.
The value of the melee weapon attack power increase buff in card selection has been increased.
The abilities and prices of some abilities have been adjusted.
The stats of stage bosses have been increased.
-Sound
The sound effect that plays when hit by an ability attack has been changed.
The sound effect that plays when an enemy is hit by a Halberd skill attack has been changed.
The sound effect for the Halberd skill 'Ground Pound' has been changed.
-Optimization
The issue of frame drops when holding a large number of boards and chipsets has been partially fixed.
An audio mixer has been added, so sound no longer overlaps and amplifies.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed a crash triggered by the ricochet targeting from the boss of the third location.

  • Fixed a crash when disabling lighting during a run.

  • The "Grandmaster" achievement is now awarded correctly and does not require cooperative achievements.

  • Even-numbered shots with the hammer or blade no longer miss.

  • The "Critical Chance" perk now provides the stated chance.

  • Fixed a bug where enemies could accelerate to immense speeds when colliding with a wall.

  • The HP bar of the boss in the third location no longer remains after entering a cycle.

  • The "Magnetic Charge" perk no longer attempts to attract coins after defeat.

  • Fixed a bug where the boss could appear prematurely with a high no-damage killstreak.

  • Fixed a bug where a run could start with an already selected ability after restarting.

Improvements and Balance:

  • Improved perk replacement system: significantly reduced the likelihood of receiving the same perk twice in a row.

  • A projectile-reflecting enemy can no longer kill you with one shot (reduces damage of reflected projectiles to 5).

  • After acquiring "Autodidact," you can replace active abilities once per run.

  • All projectiles in the arena are destroyed upon entering a cycle.

  • Cycles have become more challenging but offer more experience.

  • Enemies from normal and hard locations now appear more frequently, altering gameplay.

  • Reduced the increase in critical damage from strength and luck for all characters.

  • Fixed typos. Clarified perk localization.

  • Perks with rarity above common now appear 5% more often.

Perks and Abilities:

  • "Bloodlust" Perk:

- Critical damage bonus per stack reduced from 10% to 5%.

- Maximum bonus reduced from 1000% to 500%.

  • "Heavy Bullets" Perk:

- Projectile speed reduction decreased from 90% to 80%.

  • "Acid" Perk:

- Damage bonus from stacks for non-poisonous weapons is now cumulative.

  • "Net" Ability:

- Initial area of effect doubled.

- Description clarified.

  • "Strut" Ability:

- Duration increased by 3 times.

- Intelligence now affects recharge speed.

We're excited to announce that the free demo for PhiloDeka has received a major content update (v0.5.6.67)! The dev team has been closely following your feedback and has made extensive additions and optimizations based on it.

Here are the highlights of this update:

16 New Charmstones to Unlock New Strategies

- "Unused Cards" Build (8 Charmstones): Added 8 new Charmstones designed around "Unused Cards" (cards you don't select), allowing your passed-over cards to generate value. (Unlocks after completing Level 9).

- "Pair/General" Build Reinforcement (8 Charmstones): Added 8 new Charmstones to enhance the strategic depth of "Pair" and other general-purpose builds.

Introducing "Dual-Form" Charmstones

- Three Charmstones Get an Upgrade: We've unlocked Level III upgrades for 3 popular Charmstones.

- Freely Toggle Forms: After upgrading, the Charmstone will have two different effect modes. You can freely switch between them before each level to adapt to the situation.

Gameplay and Experience Optimizations

- Level Extension: The game has been extended from 9 to 12 levels, providing more room for your builds to grow.

- New "Zen Select" Feature: You can now enable "Zen Select" mode in the settings, which helps select cards in sequence with a single click, reducing manual clicking.

- Shop Refresh Optimization: We've lowered the Acorn cost for refreshing the shop and increased the number of times you can refresh.

- Balance Adjustments: Tweaked the values of some Charmstones, fixed several bugs, and improved UI details.
