Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams - Valve
Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams was Just Updated

Patch Notes for Version 1.1.1

Updates:

- A remixed mode for all levels and bosses. The remixed mode is a lot easier to survive than its standard counterpart. The “easy” difficulty for Giana should roughly correspond to the “normal” difficulty for casual platformer games. And, of course, the standard and hardcore modes are still there.
- The code has been optimized further to boost the performance of GSTD (DirectX10/11 mode only). The improved framerate should be the most noticeable on mid-range machines that required lower graphical settings to run smoothly in the previous version.
- Added Japanese and Russian language support
- Added in-game menu for basic audio and controller settings
- Uber-hardcode achievement fix, finally those of you who managed to beat the game will get the achievement you deserve (all you need is to beat one level in uber hardcore and you should be awarded with the achievement if you have already played through every level in that mode).

Bug fixes:

- Fixed an issue that caused a black screen after starting a level in DX9 mode with some AMD/ATI setups
- Fixed a crash that could occur when playing fullscreen in DX9 mode
- Fixed a resolution issue occurring with the Steam overlay (fuzzy graphics)
- Fixed a bug that clipped the mouse, keeping you from clicking on part of the interface
- Twisting the world now causes the background to wobble properly again
- Greatly reduced the amount of flickering for shadows in DX10/11 mode
- Fixed inconsistent particle effects
- Soft shadows can now be properly selected in the menu again
- Fixed a crash that could occur when launching level 3-5
- V-sync can now be set properly above 60 Hz
- Fixed a launcher crash that could occur when starting the game
- Fixed a crash with the error message “MSVCP100.dll is missing”

Language selection update:
- Setting your language now follows the Steam standards and is done from the Steam menu instead of the launcher
- How to set your language after the update:

-Open the Steam Library
-Right click on your Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams entry
-Choose Properties
-Go to the Language tab
-Select your desired language (you can choose between English; German; French; Italian; Spanish; Russian: Japanese)
-Start the game

Insurgency - Valve
Here is a small update for you guys.

New Content
Added new official map: Buhriz.
Updated Contact (Insurgent spawn area and lighting).
New sounds for M16, AKM and M9.

Gameplay Changes
Push rounds now starts with 8 minutes, 10 waves for attackers and 20 waves for defenders. When the attacking team captures a point, the round timer is extended 4 minutes and the attacking team receives an additional 5 waves.
In Push the defending team can now block a capture with a single person in the capture zone. This mechanic is currently only applied to Push, but can be extended to other modes if desired.
Added pre-owned capture points back into Firefight (A and C) after noticing that with the new system people would wait to capture the first point until their team desired a respawn, which has encouraged an unintended level of "gameyness" to the mode.
Skirmish now has a 15 minute round timer instead of 10 minutes.

Bug Fixes
Improved the player ShouldDraw function, hopefully addressing what was causing the invisible player bug. This will require some testing so please provide us with feedback whether this appears fixed or not.
Changed some of the animation code around so player abilities can override the main activity. Switched the slide animations to this system which should make them more reliable and reduce instances of the slide pose bug people have noticed.
Refined observer code to potentially fix a bug where players' first person weapons were being replaced with the wrong viewmodel.
Fixed a bug where the name of a map would not properly refresh on the scoreboard, sometimes saying that the current map is a different map than it actually is.
Fixed a bug where when teams were swapped you would get a supply refund for your grenade but not actually have the grenade taken away from you, so in actuality you were getting an extra supply.
Made sure supply refund on team switch clears the item out of both team's item banks just in case teams are shuffled and you end up on the same team.

A few of the issues including the invisible player bug, the slide animation issue, and the weapon viewmodel being replaced with the wrong weapon, all need further testing. Let us know the status of these issues as you play.

Kerbal Space Program - Valve
Kerbal Space Program Launches Latest Update

Squad released update 0.21 to its popular space agency simulation, Kerbal Space Program, on Steam for PC and Mac

Kerbal Space Program released it’s 0.21 update for players to install and new gamers to enjoy via Steam or on its website for PC and Mac. The multi-genre game offers players the chance to run their own space agency, build and launch rockets, satellites and spacecraft into outer space. Kerbal Space Program is currently under development by Squad and available through an early access program that offers players the opportunity to immerse themselves in the game’s vast spaceship and rocket building experience before it is complete.

This latest update to KSP is the first of several to focus primarily on the game’s Career Mode. This mode will add more structure over the existing sandbox, ultimately adding the game on top of the simulation. This will offer players the chance to hire their own astronauts, build rockets under a budget and take on contracts to earn money and build their reputation. This first update, welcomes crew management into the game, so players can select their crews before a mission, and hire new astronauts through the new Astronaut Complex facility at the space center. Squad also created this animated trailer in support of this major update to KSP.

The space center itself has been completely redone for this update. The new scene features new building models, and scenery matching the in-flight world. Squad completely overhauled the interior spaces for both the Vehicle Assembly and Space Plane Hangar buildings, complete with animated vehicles and equipment.

“This update is a very important step forward for us in many ways,” lead developer Felipe Falanghe said. “Career Mode won’t be finished in one update but we hope our players will see the direction we’re going with it and enjoy the process. We’re very excited about finally being able to take significant steps towards this part of the game, which so far has been the most underdeveloped part of the project. It’s very satisfying to finally see it start to take shape and can’t wait to see how our players interact with these new features.”

Updates to KSP include:
• Crew Management: Select your Kerbal astronauts from a list of applicants, and track the status of the ones you have in the new Astronaut Complex Facility. Also, pick and choose the crew for new missions before launch with the new crew assignment panels.
• Updated Construction Facility Scenes: Admire the view with completely rehauled and updated Vehicle Assembly and Space Planes Hangar buildings
• New Flight Control System: Re-built from scratch, the new Stability Augmentation System (or more popularly known as Sickness Avoidance Solution) should be a drastic improvement for new and old players
• Terrain Additions: Many planets and moons around the Kerbal Solar System have been updated to feature beautiful new landscapes, featuring procedurally-generated craters and little hills and valleys, which are even more fun to land (or crash) on than before
