Patch 1.02 fixes

Single + Multiplayer
- Fixes an issue that prevents user settings and game progress from being saved if the user's Windows login name contains unicode characters.
- Fixes an issue where users could not add friends whose name contains dot characters.

Multiplayer
- Changed network communication port from 1000 to 7917 in order to fix connection issues caused some ISPs' restrictions.

Updates to R.U.S.E. have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

R.U.S.E.

• Fixed frequent desync issues
  
• Fixed Ranked games to showing 4/2 players and getting stuck at that point
  
• Fixed Invite button not showing in 4 players maps
  
• Fixed kick of player at timeouts when accessing the VAC checking servers
  

An update to R.U.S.E. has been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted.
The major changes include:

• No more region lock applied to the multiplayer matchmaking
  
• VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat System) activation including in-game kick plus ban from official servers for players identified as cheaters
  
• Several measures and tweaks to combat cheating
  

The R.U.S.E. Public Beta has been reactivated for one more week due to popular demand. Fight on 7 maps from the final game in ranked and unranked modes against other players. Or challenge the AI in single player mode as a training ground.
