Happy to say that based on player feedback from our past two beta updates, we have migrated the beta patch onto the main branch. Here is the full changelog (partially mirrored from past beta posts):

Balancing:

• Rebalanced ammo/health loot and introduced balanced mechanics (in easy/normal mode) for engagement in battle vs replenishments

• Reduced cost of healing items

• Enemies now alert before throwing a stone,

• Bullet barrels no longer automatically extinguish at the start of a battle — only if bullets are collected

• Balancing to ensure soft-lock situations are eliminated, particularly lacking health during boss battles

• New boxes have been added in some locations that can, algorithmically, contain items

• Hard mode remains unchanged, without additional rebalancing or mechanical changes

• Frequency of loot and scaling better balanced for easy and normal mode

• Better normal mode scaling

• Tweaks to enemy AI

• Tweaks to player stamina

• Additional tweaks to balancing based on player feedback

• Additional fixes for possible soft-lock scenarios

• Fixes for edge-case soft-lock conditions

Bugs/Other:

• Improved P90 shot sound

• Slightly tweaked throwing rock model scale

• Fixed non-TAA antialiasing flashing screen,

• Fixed several cases that blocked the game's progress,

As we roll out this patch, we will continue to keep an eye out for player feedback and continue to improve the user experience. We will keep up the beta branch as well (although as of this post, it is identical to main) - any short term future balancing fixes will first go to beta for feedback before being mirrored on main.

Also, we are archiving older builds rather than getting rid of them for those who prefer certain builds. The initial release variant of the game can be still accessed via branch password "archivedbuilds" (no quotes). For those who prefer the pre-balance changes of the game, we want to ensure these builds were still accessible. Note we cannot back-patch issues such as TAA and Font fixes however, which are included in the now-live build on main & beta.

Hey everyone!

After launch, some community members on the hub and Discord reported that employees were quitting unexpectedly, sometimes way too fast, sometimes staying miserable forever. I wanted to get a quickfix out ahead of the first-week update to make things feel fairer while I finish the rest of the improvements.

Bug fixes in this quickfix:

• Recycled employees now properly reset their total unhappy days.

• Job happiness calculations fixed when a favorite item was out of stock once.

• Employees at home now correctly sync break room items.

• Turned the Steam profile photo image back up. (lol)

• Fixed people getting the intoxicated moodlet from watching a casino game.

Other changes:

• Employees won’t quit in the first 5 consecutive days of unhappiness.

• Every HR search now returns 5 candidates.

• Quit chances gradually ramp up toward 100% in 10-14 days if nothing improves.

• Only 1 employee can quit per shift due to unhappiness.

• The document cost of laundry research has been decreased to 35.

Note: Since we reset the consecutive unhappiness data in this patch, some employees who’ve been miserable for a while might now start at around 10% chance to quit instead of carrying their old streaks.

Additions:

Added new game option where you automatically win elections this is for testing purposes but also for learning purposes.

Bug Fixes:

If the player wins their primary election they are also now added properly to the general election.

Fixed polling values not being accurate at all to the actual votes and results.

Fixed base score from being locked at 100 this was another issue messing up the polling results as base score is not a locked value.

Fixed primary polls in the campaign tab from polling everyone together.

Fixed name recognition calculations treating the actual total number as a percentage instead. This was leading to the player having election blow outs.

Bug Fixes I'm Working On:

Load party setups not updating the county party maps of the United States.

Load and save party setups not persisting per playthrough.

Vote prediction modal not working for anything other than the city level.

Fixing UI in general elections campaign overview from not being as helpful as primary ones. Along with coalition appeal metric.

Removing temporary changes of EVs for candidates for testing purposes of the reporting system to now they only change during actual results / projection.

Overhaul to politician creator speed for ease of use, and for quick politician creation.

Hello everyone, Its been a little bit since an update but Ive been working I promise (When im not playing Dead by Daylight)

Anyways, I went into the first level and made the platforming easier since I got a lot of complaints about that. I also removed the negative chaos effects (Like becoming small, big, or fat) and kept in useful ones.
On the main menu theres a new button under the costumes for a shop. You can spend Golden Meatballs (ill talk about that in a second) to unlock cosmetics for Spencer. Right now theres only 2 but theres plenty more to come!
The way you'll get golden meatballs is by beating the game (Or at least going as far as you can, but beating all levels will give you more)
I have not implemented that yet BUT theres also a button to redeem codes on the shop.
To kickstart this new feature, use the code SpaghettiQuest for some free meatballs! And if you purchase the support dlc you'll start with 100 :)
