Overpass - bean

Hi!

As with nearly all Unity games made in the last decade, Overpass has now been patched to address a recent security issue found by the Unity team a few weeks ago.

I hope you're all well ♥

Monster Train 2 - shinycami
From the skies above Heaven come a pair of powerful Angels, each corrupted by a Titan’s power. Stryx, a feral warrior all too eager to accept Savagery’s terrible power, and her stoic brother, Hallow, changed forever by the unrelenting force of Entropy.

To defeat both, players will need to balance precision and timing to survive their combined attacks.

Stryx, Savagery’s brutal servant

Fueled by a primal love for violence, Stryx patrols each floor, ascending from the first to the third before cycling back down again. With a frenzied multi-attack, she is the offensive half of the duo and will keep players on their toes while they deal with her brother.

Hallow, Entropy’s reluctant warrior

Looming at the edges of the battle, Hallow is a massive, inevitable threat. He enchants enemy units on the floors he touches, twisting the weakest of enemies into empowered threats. This enchantment can also apply to Stryx, should the two ever occupy the same floor.

A Vengeful Battle

The fight itself is a balance between dealing with the threat before you and the looming threat ahead. Defeat one angelic twin early and the other becomes immensely stronger. Pick your poison and choose which twin you’d rather face in a relentless state, or else you might end up facing their combined might!

Prepare your strategy to defeat these two new foes coming to Monster Train 2 in Echoes from the Void! To learn more about the angelic twin bosses and see early concept designs, sign-up for the Shiny Shoe newsletter. Want to talk directly to the devs during our new AMA events? Join the Shiny Shoe server here.

We hope you’re just as excited as we are for the release of Echoes from the Void. Thank you so much for playing Monster Train 2 and for supporting the Shiny Shoe team!

A Planet of Mine Legacy - Tuesday Quest

Usually, when we think of a 4X game, we imagine a big screen with Steam opened, keyboard & mouse, and a comfy gamer seat (or back pain if you play for too long!).

But we’re currently working on A Planet of Mine: MasterMine Edition, a 4X that is cute, cozy, AND designed for handheld console:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3391740/A_Planet_of_Mine_MasterMine_Edition/Releasing our demo at Steam Next Fest (the demo is still available) allowed us to understand that our game is more Steam Deck than PC oriented. A lot of PC players are used to play without a gamepad and we didn’t fully realize that. We’re developing the more niche game possible!

We’re currently working on keyboard & mouse controls, and it works fine. So you can still play our upcoming game on PC, but it would feel way better on Steam Deck:

  • Controls are tailored to play smoothly on a pad and to make full use of all the Steam Deck buttons,

  • UI is designed to be readable on a small screen,

  • There’s a quick game mode, you decide how long you want it to be,

  • If you feel peaceful, you can be friends with other factions,

  • You can do some actions, then pause the game and continue later,

  • Characters are so cute that you want to keep them in your pocket!

The game is perfect to be played on-the-go.

We hope Steam Deck users will enjoy our alien game 😅

Heading Out - CrunchingWnuk

You’ve got the car. You’ve got the playlist. You’ve got the ghosts whispering through the static.

In Heading Out, the journey is more than asphalt and headlights - it’s about who you become when you’re finally behind the wheel.
Speed through the lonely highways of America, face your fears, talk to strangers, and leave your past behind - or catch up to it.

For a limited time, Heading Out is 60% off in the Steam Daily Deal.

It’s time to turn up the radio, roll down the windows, and see what kind of legend you’ll become before sunrise.
The road’s calling — are you ready to answer?
