I have completely overhauled the loot drop system due to previous security vulnerabilities. From now on, loot drops will be time-based, granting players a random skin every 10 minutes of playtime, which will automatically be added to their Steam inventory. I will be monitoring the interval for skin spawns and may adjust it in future updates to enhance the overall player experience.

In addition to the new loot system, I’ve introduced a more intuitive way to unlock skins. Players can now browse locked skins in-game and click on them to be directed to the Steam Market for easy access.

Currently, Steam Deck support for the game is available in experimental mode. You can play, but with a number of restrictions which we are already working to eliminate.

To play Tanki Online via Steam Deck, you need to manually enable the «Steam Linux Runtime 3.0 (sniper)» compatibility mode in the project settings on SteamOS.
Go to the game page on your Steam Deck and click on the gear icon on the right. This will open the settings window. In the "Compatibility" section, enable forced use of compatibility settings and select "Steam Linux Runtime 3.0 (sniper)".

Another important feature: controllers on your Steam Deck emulate keyboard and mouse control. This is an experimental control option. Support for analog control for gamepads will appear later.

Hello runners! It’s been a few weeks since the launch of Supermoves and we’ve been cooking what’s next. It’s really great to see we’re Very Positive on Steam and that our runners have jumped into not only our multiplayer, but the sizable amount of singleplayer content in the game - including the leaderboards, custom levels and Career Mode!

We decided for our first big content update (hot on the heels of the new, free to play Supermoves Freerun and the patches after it) we wanted to really focus on adding new levels and rewards to the game. Welcome to the Supermoves Speedrun Update!

New Featured Levels: Overflow, Aftermath Alley and Cargo Confusion

Built for testing your limits, the new Rising Tide level Overflow set in a night time New York City has you dodging an unfortunate sewer malfunction while platforming and jumping for your life!



From the community, Spoland has been busy and gets two levels promoted into the Featured Playlist - Aftermath Alley and Cargo Confusion! These two levels really focus on parkour platforming and finding the best route forward. Remember, in Ocean levels you can swim around; in other modes, the water will respawn or eliminate you, so watch your step!

Speedrunner Spotlight - Congratulations to davolainen for 35 World Record Runs



Over 160 runs have already been recorded for Supermoves on http://Speedrun.com/Supermoves! We’ve always felt that the speedrunning community is truly special, and seeing all these new world records has been awesome to watch with the Makea Games team.

New XP Bonuses for Runners



Now, each time you complete a level from the Explore Menu (available in the full Supermoves game) you get a nice 500 XP - for each new level you play, every day. This should get you some nice cosmetics while you work your way through our 100 cosmetic reward track and explore all Supermoves has to offer.

These can be completed in single player (as long as you’re not in Offline Mode, so we can verify your leaderboard scores). The full game of Supermoves is required to play Explore mode levels.

Additionally, every time you beat your leaderboard score, you get an additional bonus 500 XP! This should be great for trying out new levels, breaking your limits and being the very best. Thank you for your dedication!

New Patch Available Now

The Supermoves Speedrun Update is now available, which adds all the above mentioned features as well as some quality of life and performance improvements.

  • You can now search for levels in the Explore Menu (thank you, speedrunner KingDalapa for this suggestion!)
  • XP bonus for playing new levels and beating leaderboard scores
  • Made the buttons to place respawning flags and respawning clearer in the UI of the Obstacle Course mode
  • Further performance optimization, especially to the Rooftops Level Kit

We’re always fine tuning the game, so expect to see bug fixes as we go. If you’re having performance issues, please make sure you meet our minimum system requirements and that you’re running the latest graphics drivers for your hardware. In a pinch, dropping built-in upscaling to 50% really helps as does DLSS and FSR3 where available. Remember that Supermoves is entirely software (& optionally hardware) raytraced and uses Unreal Engine 5!

Bug Fixes

  • Added extra precautions when saving and exiting the game, in order to make sure quest related information is saved properly.
  • Added extra precautions when loading a save file, in order to make sure completed quests would not re-activate.
  • Fixed an issue where multiple dialogue options would be incorrectly available during certain quests.
  • Rebalanced the revitalization amount needed for unlocking the ascended pillars.
  • Fixed an issue with the "A use for jelly" quest, where the Elder would refuse jelly from the player if they quit the game during the related quest step.
  • Fixed an issue where holding the "jelly" inventory item and pressing the interact key could cause a crash when no appropriate actor was nearby.
  • Fixed an issue where planting plots would not update their completion correctly on the map if the player moved to far away during their completion process.
  • Construction boxes spawned inside walls or other objects will now be placed in the hearthship upon reloading the game.
  • Added precautions to prevent NPC's from getting stuck behind the kitchen area when trying to navigate up the nearby ramp.

Hey there!
Thank you all for playing Castaway! I really appreciate all your feedback and - where possible - have addressed some of it in this "Quality of Life" Patch. Please consider changing your review if you feel like those modifications solved some of your issues with the game. Or, if you didn't already, please leave one! I'd really appreciate it!
Here's a non-exhaustive list of the improvements:

  • Greatly improved weapon attack hitboxes.
  • Improved player collisions to prevent getting stuck in blocks or getting out of the playfield.
  • Coins stay "slightly" longer in the Tower before disappearing.
  • Removed the initial cutscene with pterodactyls in Speedrun and Unfair modes.
  • Added an option to disable Screenshakes.
  • Had the German, Polish, Ukrainian and Brazilian Portuguese translations corrected by professionals and/or native speakers.
  • Corrected the following country codes: Germany, China, Japanese and Spanish.
  • Added translators in credits.
  • Indicated the total number of floors in the menus (_/51) to avoid discouraging players who might fear an infinite or insane number of floors.
  • Slightly modified some rooms layout in the Tower.
  • Added a line of text before the credits informing the players that they'll access the second part of the game (the Tower), to encourage them to continue.
  • Enabled the “Who did it?” Achievement to be obtained both by accessing credits via the main menu and by finishing the game.
  • Added new SFX for the following actions: “closing the doors in the tower”, "player bounce after a roll". These were previously identical to the player injury SFX and were confusing.
I hope you'll appreciate the improvements. I really want to make the experience much more solid so that Martin's adventure is a good foundation for what comes next! ;)
