Titan Quest - Update 2.3

  • Removed grey collision walls rendered visibly

  • Tweaked Atlas boat captain area
  • Added POI in Atlas cave
  • Added torches outside cave in Atlas
  • Tartarus music volume adjusted
  • Bugfix: quest counters are now cleared between game sessions
  • Side quest fixes: The lost wanderer, The Letter and Foraging quests had an issue where player characters that had completed the Ragnarök expansion didn't get correct quest log updates. This is now fixed but characters who have already started or completed these quest might have some residual effects of this issue. As of 2019-05-09 all player characters are backed up on the first game launch to \Users\#user#\Documents\My Games\Titan Quest Backup. Players who want to reset these quest could revert their characters, note that this will reset all progress since the backup was made though.
  • Satyr side quest proxy now spawns three enemies instead of one.
  • Fixed missing collision in Aetolion Polis
  • Blocked off alley in Gadir
  • Changed lights in Necropolis to nightlights
  • Fixed Floating Tartarus-portal in Gadir
  • Fixed hole in the wall in Passage of soul
  • Fixed so the player can't reach deep water in Coastal Asomata
  • Bugfix: fixed crash due to setting debug information on invalid indexbuffer for meshes

Update on the future of Titan Quest

Hey Titan Slayers!

We have been very silent since the last update and wanted to inform you guys why. Black Forest Games had to go in with all their man power into other projects. But that doesn’t mean you will not receive further updates.

Pieces Interactive who brought you Ragnarök in 2017 is working on further Titan Quest updates and will also take over work of the console SKUs. They are no strangers to the game and have a lot of passion for Titan Quest.

So behind the scenes we are already preparing next steps but please bear with us for the next update as we have some work ahead of us.

UPDATE 4/3/19: Following THQ Nordic GmBH's decision to host an AMA on hugely controversial website 8chan last week, co-founder and group-CEO of parent company THQ Nordic AB, Lars Wingefors, has offered his "sincerest apologies and regret" over the marketing stunt.

In a statement addressed to employees, partners, and consumers, Wingefors wrote, "This letter is to offer my sincerest apologies and regret for THQ Nordic GmbH Vienna's interaction with the controversial website 8chan last Tuesday, February 26. I condemn all unethical content this website stands for. Even if no one within the THQ Nordic Group would ever endorse such content, I realize simply appearing there gave an implicit impression that we did.

"As Co-Founder and Group CEO of THQ Nordic AB, I take full responsibility for all of THQ Nordic GmbH's actions and communications. I have spent the past several days conducting an internal investigation into this matter. I assure you that every member of the organization has learned from this past week's events. I take this matter very seriously and we will take appropriate action to make sure we have the right policies and systems in place to avoid similar mistakes in the future.

We are now ending the application time for the closed beta, we would like to say thanks to everyone who sent in their application and put time and effort into their emails.

You guys are an amazing community and we have received applications from all over the world and from all ages, it is a great community and we are happy for all your support and hype for this update.

We will over the next week reach out to the candidates that have been chosen to help us with this, I will personally do this via steam to start with so we can get the extra information needed so you can get the NDA and we can start with the entire beta!

We are looking forward to working closely with all of you and to show the community the love it deserves!

While most of their catalogue is discounted, the best deals are to be found in remasters with terrible pun titles, with Darksiders Warmastered Edition, Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition and the recent Red Faction Guerilla Re-Mars-tered all going cheap. It’s hard not to feel that publisher THQ Nordic and RPS share a mutual love of terrible puns. Case in point: Their sale this weekend on Steam, running from now until Monday, August 27th. While most of their catalogue is discounted, the best deals are to be found in remasters with terrible pun titles. Darksiders Warmastered Edition, Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition and the recent Red Faction Guerilla Re-Mars-tered (you may now groan) are all going cheap, plus a surprising deal on the pen-and-paper Shadowrun 5th Edition rulebook.
