Bonjouuuuuuur~ ✨
We are thrilled to announce that we are partnering with a publisher: Silver Lining! ☀️
We are so happy to be working with their lovely team and we’re so excited for what’s ahead!
Along with this news, we are also shifting the release date to 2026.
This decision reflects our commitment to giving the game more time and making Lunne’s story the best it can be.🥰
As you know, we’ve always been honest with you - and this delay is also due to our initial underestimation of the main characters’ Heart Palace. We want to tell a lot more than we originally did in these sections of the game. Once we tested what they could become, we couldn’t let go. So now, if we want to make all three of them to the same level of quality, we need more time to work on them.
We understand that it might be disappointing news. We know many of you are eager to play - we receive so many kind messages every day, and it means so much to us. But there’s a silver lining! (*wink* *wink*)
First thing first, to our backers: we hope this news reassures you that the game is absolutely on its way!
Second, we’ll be starting playtests soon. The first one will take place in September and will be limited to around 20 people. More playtests will follow later this year!
Third, we’re not going silent! We will continue as always to share updates on the game roughly on a daily basis on our socials. That way, you can see the game taking shape, and we’re not doing spoilers so you can rest assured! (also, there will be more steam news!!)
Fourth, there are more exciting announcements coming… But those are stories for another time. 😊
As always, we’re here to chat and answer any question on our socials, we’ll always be happy to hear from you! We also want to do a live Q&A on the week of August 18, so if you have questions, please write to us here or on our Discord channel “live-event”!
Huge thanks to Silver Lining for joining us on this adventure!! 💖
We can’t wait to share more about The Witch’s Bakery! Until then, stay magical! ✨

Hey everyone!
A little update from us - Third-place match from Bebop Grand Clash: TBT Edition tournament is now available on YouTube.
Likes & Follows appreciated!
We’re thrilled to finally reveal the official release date for Seafarer: The Ship Sim:
🗓️ October 7, 2025 – that’s when we’ll launch into Early Access! We know – we initially said Summer 2025, and we hate having to ask for a little more patience. But we want to be fully transparent: We’ve decided to take a few more weeks to polish core features and refine the overall gameplay experience. These extra weeks will help us ensure that every voyage feels rewarding from the very first step aboard.
We’re already putting this time to good use with our Closed Beta, now live! This is your chance to play Seafarer early, share feedback, and help us fine-tune the game ahead of launch.
We’re also heading to gamescom 2025, where Seafarer will be publicly playable for the first time. If you’re attending, stop by, play the game, and meet the team – we’d love to see you!
Thank you again for your continued support and excitement. With your help during the beta, we’re making Seafarer the best it can be.
We’re nearly there – and we can’t wait to welcome you aboard this October.
See you on deck,
Your Seafarer Team 🚣♀️
Hello everyone!
We have just returned to our desks from our summer holidays, and work continues on our less than summery game.
Since our reveal in the spring, a lot of things have fallen into place with Frostrail, and we are eager to show you more of them a little later. Over the past months, the combat gameplay in particular has improved by leaps and bounds. We’ve spent a lot of time honing the feel of combat, adjusting animations, sounds and enemy mechanics to find the perfect mix of fantasy and realism. The Revenants are really angry now! We’ll write more about these enemies soon.
[carousel]Another part of the game that has received a lot of attention recently are the visuals. Our art team has been hard at work creating a whole bunch of new assets like buildings, trees and everyday items. This has really improved the overall style and all the small details, and helped us home in on the atmosphere of desolation. We also have new weapon models to complement the combat improvements, and to help you stay alive in the harsh environment.
[carousel]Additionally, we’ve revised the way we build locations in the world. Earlier in the development process, locations were largely built from premade assets by level designers. In other words, artists would create the building blocks, and level designers would make the levels with them.
[carousel]This is still how it works with much of the world, but we’ve shifted our workflow a bit and had artists work more directly on key locations. This has allowed us to make the points of interest look a lot better, with more hand-drawn and hand-placed structures and clutter in them. We look forward to hearing what you think about the look and feel of exploration!
Next up for our team is preparing for a visit to Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. Keep your eyes peeled – there might be video snippets coming your way from the trip!
