It's our 10 year anniversary today and we're celebrating with a bundle of experiments and prototypes. You can pay what you wish for it (with a minimum of $5 USD) until Christmas. Among many other exclusive items, the bundle contains two early prototypes of The Path (in one of which you can play as Charming Wolf and see how he runs on all fours!).

It's been 3 years since our previous release. So we're pretty excited about this one. Especially because it takes yet another step further away from conventional game ideas and towards embracing the medium of videogames as a mature and capable platform for artistic expression. We feel we have made a lot of progress with this one.

Bientôt l'été was inspired by French novelist and filmmaker Marguerite Duras. It's about love and loss, deception and desire, coyness and cruelty. You play a man or a woman, you walk along the beach, pensive. And then you go inside, to meet another player for a strange game of chess.

The music was composed by Walter Hus and the animations were made by Laura Raines Smith, who has animated all of our characters so far. The text is spoken in French and subtitled in many languages which you can choose from. Currently: English, Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, Polish and Russian. And we hope to add more.

Instead of extracting part of The Path and releasing it as a free trial, this is a brand new chapter, similar to parts of the game, but not the same. It gives you a free taste of the atmosphere of The Path.

In The Path - Prologue, you control the mysterious Girl in White. There’s a not a lot of gameplay in this demo. It’s just about exploring the forest and pondering the sights. A prologue should show what happened before the events in the story. But in this case, it may seem like it’s showing things that happened after. A mystery that will make more sense after playing the full game.
