Delay Announcement + Patch Notes

Well, this is awkward… have you ever announced a release date but then a cat holds your soul hostage unless you delay your game because he likes to make you question your sanity? 

In all seriousness, we are very sorry to announce that we will be delaying the Early Access release of Turnbound.

We know that this news is frustrating, and we are sincerely sorry. We want to be as transparent with our community as possible on the reason for the delay, and it is simply because we need more time to cook. Whilst Early Access games get given a bit more grace, we believe that if you are paying for something, you should get value for your money. We’re no longer confident we can guarantee that if we ship on the 13th of November 2025.

When we planned our announcement at Galaxies, we thought the timeline was tight but manageable, given the amount of work that was left to do. After further investigating the current bugs and remaining work we now know it would be unrealistic to ship on the 13th. We’re saddened to have to make this call, but we know it’s the right choice in order to give you the version of Turnbound that you deserve.

So when will Turnbound ship? 

We don’t want to promise a date only to delay it again. What we can promise you is that as soon as we have a date we feel 100% confident in, you’ll be the first to know! 

To help make this happen, we may even open up Steam Playtests or have an Open Beta for players to enjoy new features and heroes! 😊 We’re also committed to keeping the Demo available for you to continue to enjoy until we ship.

As an extra thank you for your patience and understanding, our overlord The Cat has deemed you worthy enough to give him scritches in the Early Access release. 🐈‍⬛ (Please note the “Pet the Cat” Feature will not loosen his grip on your soul).

On to the patch notes: 

NOTE: The servers will go down at 1pm GMT for approximately 15-30 minutes to apply the patch.

Patch Notes 0.31.0:

  • Fixed Red Silk Sash to trigger when damaged, not when destroyed

  • Added a warning message when trying to launch the game on incompatible hardware

Hello, Generals!

Hoping you'll enjoy it, I'm sharing the news just released about my new co-op multiplayer FPS game "Home Wars: Battlefield" in development (ADD it to your WISHLIST):

"Hello, brothers!

Today, we're going back in time to bring you what was Germany's first tank pride in HWB, codenamed "Kaiser"!

The Kaiser will be one of the game's first heavy tanks.

It certainly won't be as well-armored and armored as its successors, but it will be an excellent mobile bunker in the early stages of battle.

This tank will prove excellent against small enemies, as, protected by a thick layer of metal, soldiers inside will be able to use six 7.62 mm machine guns on three sides of the vehicle, while the driver can take advantage of the decent firepower of the 57 mm cannon mounted on the front.

The Kaiser's bulky silhouette makes it fearsome, but at the same time vulnerable, as it can be easily hit.

I'm not sure how to arrange the crew at the moment. The two possible options are:

1) 1 driver + 6 passengers (one machine gun each)

2) 1 driver + 3 passengers (two machine guns each)

1) 1 driver + 2 passengers (three machine guns each, i.e., one on each side).

Which would you prefer?

Consider that the more soldiers inside a vehicle, the fewer there will be outside as infantry.

In time, I'll show you more tanks from World War I, so stay tuned and you'll see some great stuff!

Saloon Simulator - glivigamessa
Dear players,

We’re continuing our presentation of new employees!
This time, a new member joins your saloon crew – the cook. Once you open your saloon, she’ll appear in the kitchen and wait for your instructions.

The Cook

Before she starts cooking, the cook needs to agree on the menu with you. Meet her in the kitchen and talk to her by right-clicking.

From her recipe book, you can select up to three dishes – one from each category: sweet, salty, and spicy. In the cooking queue on the right side, you can decide how many times she should prepare a given dish again after the pot becomes empty.

The cook is the most interactive of all our employees so far.
We’re really curious to hear your feedback – let us know how it feels to run the saloon when the cook takes over your kitchen!

Both the cook and the bartender will appear in the gameright after you finish the main storyline.

What’s next for the employee system?

The full employee system will include:

  • A total of 32 employees (8 for each role: cook, cleaner, bartender, and waiter). Each will have their own model, voice*, and short bio so you can get to know them a bit better.

  • A job board where you’ll be able to hire new staff members.

  • The ability to send them for training to improve their skills.

  • A flexible payment system that lets you decide whether and how to pay your employees (though unpaid workers won’t stay for long!).

Most of these features are already in early testing – we’re working hard to bring them to the game step by step in upcoming updates. We’ve designed the employee system in a way that allows us to easily expand it with new features and mechanics over time, so this is far from everything we have planned.

*The next VO recording session for actors is planned for early 2026, so in the patch that introduces the full employee mechanic, the workers won’t have their voice lines recorded yet.

New Furniture Set

As I mentioned last month, with every update we want to introduce a new furniture set to the game. Today we’d like to present the “Relic” set. We want there to be plenty of furniture options so that each of you can design your saloon to your liking.

However, it’s hard to fully enjoy decorating when the process itself isn’t as smooth and satisfying as it could be. We’ve been thinking about revisiting the furnishing system at some point, and we’d love to hear what you think about it. Do you enjoy the current setup? What could we improve? Are there any games you think do customization really well that we could take inspiration from?
