We’re back with Patch 2, a major update packed with exciting new features, gameplay improvements, balance tweaks, and crucial bug fixes. This update focuses on refining the co-op experience, expanding weapon variety, and polishing overall gameplay feel.

  • Freedom Quest Finale

    • The Freedom Quest is now complete!

    • When the 21 days are over (or if you finish the quest early), you’ll receive a unique ending dialogue reflecting your choices.

    • If you fail, your character dies permanently and your save is lost.

    • If you succeed, you survive and live on as a citizen of the Space Safe Authority.

  • New Halloween Boss: The Headless

    • Spawns east of the Old Warehouse Cloud Save Station.

    • Drops the new Pumpkin Head Helmet.

    • During October each year and November 2025, he drops an extra random item with every defeat (similar to the Gambling Addict flaw).

    • Normally, he can only be defeated once, but during the seasonal event period, he can be farmed multiple times.

    • Features 3 unique new attacks not seen in any other boss fight.

  • New Armor: Pumpkin Head Helmet

    • Deals aura damage to nearby enemies.

    • Applies cold stacks passively.

    • When your health is low, it freezes all hostile enemies in range.

  • Dialogue Speed

    • Reduced the speed of the “Very Fast” dialogue setting for better readability.

  • Added a new Safe Bank page:

    • Pay off your debts.

    • View your Universal Income.

    • Take out a one-time loan (100% interest rate!).

  • Added section headers to the Safe Shop menu for clarity.

Weapons

  • Reduced the accuracy of the Verminator Pistol.

Armor

  • Buffed poison on hit effect on SPD Chest, Brute Pants, and Mage Robe to 15% of damage (up from 10%).

  • Increased SPD Pants cold explosion damage to 100 (from 78), but removed lifesteal from it.

  • Safe Knight Ward Circle now has a fixed duration, regardless of player count.

  • Nerfed Chef’s Apron fire on hit to 4% (down from 5%) to align with other fire armors.

Flaws

  • Added Black Suit (Blue Tie) Chest and Pants to the Gambling Addict loot pool.

Skills

  • Nerfed Chain Reaction damage to 35 (down from 40) per level.

  • Removed lifesteal from the skill.

  • Fixed a bug allowing players to zoom out during character creation.

  • Fixed an issue where you couldn’t access the Verminator Pistol when wearing CB1K Cowboy Chest.

  • Fixed the XP sound playing even when the game was muted.

  • Fixed the PG splash screen playing multiple times.

  • Added 4 new unique attack templates for future bosses and enemies.

  • Separated enemy hit, knockback, blood puddle, and lifesteal logic from projectile damage — allowing them to be reused for other damage types (like aura damage).

  • Updated the Gambling Flaw system:

    • You can now receive loot from multiple overlapping sources, e.g. from both The Headless and the Gambling Addict flaw.

This updated fixes a few additional issues with the Next Fest demo

  • Fixed missing fonts during cutscenes in Asian and Cyrillic languages.

  • Fixed an issue with the Edge Scroll setting, which would cause the camera to scroll to the corner during cutscenes.

The "NAMAKORIUM" trial version has been updated.

In particular, we've made major improvements to sea cucumber movement.

  • We've addressed an issue where sea cucumbers would not move properly.

  • We've changed the way stationary sea cucumbers block paths, allowing you to pass through paths and work in shell mounds, etc., even when they are present.

  • We've made changes to the placement of sea cucumbers to a certain degree. This is primarily a cosmetic change and does not have any direct impact on the game system.

  • We've changed the appearance of level 2 shell mounds to make them easier to distinguish from regular shell mounds.

  • We've improved the visibility of the markers that are activated by double-clicking the right mouse button.

Please update if you've already downloaded the game, as joining will be impossible if players are using different versions.

  • Fixed untranslated text issues across several UI elements.

  • 🌍 Added new language support:
    Russian, Korean, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), French, German, Italian, Spanish, Indonesian, Malay, Portuguese.

  • Fixed issue where the cash register counter could be moved but caused collider errors — also now saves its position correctly.

  • Fixed bug where item placement colliders didn’t properly interact when placing near other furniture.

  • Fixed issue where customers picked expensive items from wrong shelves despite price preference logic.

  • Fixed an issue where Minsgons’ second evolution XP threshold was not working as intended.

  • Fixed rarity value issue in the Nature Epic Egg causing incorrect rarity roll results.

    • Realistic rain behavior & coverage to significantly decrease visibility that adapts based on precipitation rate

    • Dynamic streaking and directional flow based upon environmental conditions (wind direction, driving angle & speed, etc)

  • Added a brand new 360-degree immersive audio system directly tied to current environment

    • Includes heavy rain, wind gusts, and dust impacting the vehicle's surface for elevated immersion in the strongest storms.

The Architects of the Universe: The Orphans - codynstuff

Hello everyone!

It has been a long time but I just pushed out a patch to update the introduction! Why? I changed some things with the lore to fit a prequel I have written and begun development on called The Architects of the Universe: The Orbital Wars

I am a solo dev and the last year of my life has been very busy in a good way, but things are settling and I can get back to my creative endeavors.

I have an entire universe timeline that I have been pecking away at for roughly 15 years. The Orphans was far and away the most fleshed out, but it is just one of roughly eight planned stories.

As I develop more of the others there could become more and there could be less.

If you want to see the updated lore, just start a new game, go through the opening cut scene. Then talk to Mother, use the dialog option "How did we get here?" and talk to her about The Orbital Wars.

The rest you'll have to find out when I finish that game.

Ketz: Galactic Overlords - KIWO

Version 0.2.4 Patch Notes This update brings a round of balance changes for both Chapters, several long-awaited quality-of-life improvements, and bug fixes that enhance UI clarity, boss behavior, and gameplay consistency.

Below are all the updates included in Version 0.2.4:


Balance
  • Item drop rates have been increased for both Chapters.

  • Enemy health and density have been rebalanced across both Chapters.

  • The effectiveness of the Item Rarity stat has been increased it now has a stronger impact on the rarity of drops.


Quality of Life
  • New sound effects have been added for certain bosses and UI elements.

  • A message is now shown when the Chapter selection monument is locked, explaining why.

  • Lock status explanations have been added for NPCs like Smuggler Ship, Orin Vaal, and Tinket, so players know why they're currently inaccessible.


Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a bug where Bombider’s health bar would not disappear during its self-destruct explosion.

  • Corrected various boss animation issues.

  • Fixed a bug where multiple "Unlock" notifications could appear on top of each other.

  • Fixed an issue where the Challenge Box visual changes only applied in Nexarion Way and not in Cosmic Greenway.

  • Resolved an issue where players could sometimes not interact with anything in the Skill Selection screen.

  • Kael’s arrows now pierce through all enemies as intended.
