As the air begins to chill and the nights become longer, our beloved trees become creepier. In these singularly dark hours, new enemies arise on the beanstalks. They appear first at HalloBean.

Across the globe, rumors of dangerous forests and trees have popped up suggesting that the woods are haunted by incidents of years past. Some trees are said to be haunted by ghosts roaming the woods at night.


Greetings Stalkers! Our first Halloween Event starts today! From now until November 2, you’ll have the chance to get an exclusive Trophy and a few other naughty treats. To earn them, you’ll need to collect various candies, which you can do by:  
  • Defeating HalloBean enemies,
  • Climbing on hidden branches,
  • Solving challenges,
  • Crafting advanced weapons.

On the haunted trees, where rituals were once held, in order to treat the scared stalkers, we offer various candies to help your way;
  • Blue candy: Heals 3 points of health.
  • Red candy: Removes 5 points of toxin.
  • Yellow candy: Grants you 5 seconds of invulnerability.

And the chance to complete new exclusive Steam achievements.

Fall might be full of color, but when night falls, the forest can be a scary place. Dark trees, eerie sounds, and a cold that takes your breath away.

We’ve improved the “Realistic” Object Visibility setting to better reflect the sensitivity of the human eye to object brightness and colors. We also added a new “Enhanced” Object Visibility, improved collision detection, smoothed out habitable zones, added bug fixes, and more!

VAR: Exterminate - OneSkyDay ミ ´・ω・ )ミ
Dear survivors, version 1.4.0 have been updated today.
The updated version will include new enemies, new levels, and new shop system!
After this update, we now officially support Valve Index & welcome more survivors to join us!
Some adjustments have been made on a few ability cards and fighting style, and gameplay is now more intense than ever.
Other than new content, we have worked on the optimization of the gameplay, players should expect smoother gameplay.

The game will be on the Halloween special sales in steam with 33% off discount from 29 October to 2 November, do not miss the chance to have it during this Halloween.
This Halloween, we have included an exclusive limited-time campaign, during the campaign, survivors can attain Halloween Steam achievements by completing various tasks (from now to before the end of the Halloween sale period).

Mutation Mode Chapter 2

The second chapter consists of 6 stages, survivors can expect to face the new enemies and use new ability cards in this new chapter.
Unlock this chapter by collecting 30-45 stars, we welcome all survivors to take on this challenge and fight for the top ranking.

Next is the introduction of the store system, new enemies, new exterminate cards.


Shop System
Survivors now have more areas to spend the currency earned in missions. You are now able to purchase different levels of ability cards with unique enhancement abilities.
This shop system will provide survivors more choices in strengthening, it makes survivors easier on building genres and abilities.

Some selection process of the ability card is replaced by the store system. Survivors can find the shop system in the following levels: 1-Ex, 2-Ex, and all mutation mode levels, the shop system will appear twice when there are more than 20 waves and the shop system will appear only once during stages which last 15 waves.

There are 4 brands new enemies that will appear in mutation mode chapter 2.
These enemies spawn anywhere and will surprise the survivors. When paired with a mutation card, they will be even stronger.

    The highly aggressive special infected zombies spit flames, leaving survivors no space to breathe!

  • Infector

    The aggressiveness is as intense as PYRO, but the acid attack will cause continuous damage to survivors!

    Shoots out the that obstruct the line of sight.


  • Howler

    A special infected zombie who is nonaggressive. However, the howler attracts hoards of zombies that can easily be too much to handle if the threat isn't managed.

Performance Changes
  1. Game engine upgraded to Unity2019 version, which will have lots of positive effects on game performance.
  2. Adjust parts of the game logic, which reduces the burden of the CPU.
  3. Optimize parts of the graphics, which to reduce graphical lag.
Valve Index support
The operations method of the Index:
  • Trigger-shooting, operation UI interface
  • Button A – Reload
  • Button B – Pause the game during stages

Adjustment of the game control
We would like to thank all our loyal survivors who have given valuable feedback and discussion in our Discord server. We revised the reload mechanism to a simpler automatic method.
Reload now happens automatically once the magazine is empty.

  1. Fixed the bug in the reconfirmation interface when players give up on the mission, you can still press the game setting and the button of the return to mission.
  2. Fixed the bug in the sound effect of the chainsaw when starting the game.

Heart of Crown PC - Culture Select
Hello there everyone!

The Heart of Crown servers will be down for a planned server maintenance this weekend. There is no definitive end time for the maintenance, but we are expecting to finish on by end-of-day on 10/31 JST.

During this time, lobby servers and other features will be unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience. If the maintenance needs to be extended, we will post about it here.

Update (11/1): Maintenance has been completed. All users will need to update to the latest Steam version in order to use the network interface. On certain PC configurations there are some unresolved issues related as state below, and we are still investigating and will continue to endeavor to resolve.

- Some Windows Input and/or Locale Configurations result in double inputs in text fields.
- Some network and/or firewall configurations may result in the Ranked Battle or Free Battle modes crashing the game upon input.

If you experience these problems or any others with this new build please join our discussion thread for the latest patch and we will do our best to analyze and create any fixes.

New boss rewards:
  • Each boss provides a unique upgrade. After complaints about the limited inventory space, we came up with a solution. By completing the first boss, you will get 2 extra resource slots transforming your inventory layout from 2x5 to 3x4. For the second boss, you will get an extra tool slot bringing you to a total of 12 resources and 3 tool slots. These upgrades work retroactively, meaning that if you have already defeated the bosses, you will get the inventory upgrades right away. We are also planning on expanding the inventory with future bosses.

Book changes:
  • Now, when unlocking a new book page, it will be shown immediately in the Book of Crafts.
  • A bookmarker is now displayed on locked or freshly unlocked pages.

Save system changes:
  • The items will be saved by their IDs instead of their names (for name changing reasons that might come up later).

Gameplay changes:
  • The health bar is now pulsing with gold and silver colors while the player is invincible. The current health is shown with gold and the remaining time from invincibility is displayed with an emissive overlay.
  • The player can heal themselves during invincibility.

Major bugfixes:
  • Fixed a bug that made certain desert levels generate only one branch.
  • Fixed a bug that made certain items not drop the correct loot.

Minor bug fixes:
  • Grenade launchers now have more consistent launch speed.
  • Grenades now behave as intended on all surfaces.
  • Grenades don't interact with invisible colliders anymore.
  • Killing beehives are now counted in daily quests.
  • Sandstorm is now more audible.
  • The toxic display now tracks the effect with more accuracy. (Previously, the toxic effect could get much higher than what the display could track.)
  • Golden Cactus now has proper colliders.
  • Now the door handle of the Treehouse works with distance grab.
  • The stronger snitches spawning from the snitch hive were replaced with regular ones.
  • Item scanner and ammo requester now have proper scales on extraction points.
  • Cactus on the stick and expandable sword grab position adjusted for more comfortable use.
  • Ore holders on the Floating Islands now contain ores.
  • The floating stones around the Floating Islands now have proper lod settings.

We just updated the DEMO to version 202.1605.



The update adds the Spire (at the end of Chapter 1) as well as brings to DEMO all the changes in UI and mechanics that happened on the main branch of the game in the last month.

Those Who Came: Healing Solarus - princeardayfio
We are happy to announce the addition of two new languages. As always they will be immediately available for use through settings in the game.

A Little over a month ago, we launched the demo of our first game, a non-combat RPG multiplayer and we transitioned a few weeks ago into the early access stage. As part of our roadmap and suggestions received from you guys, our cherished players and community, we have been hard at work to add new languages to enhance the overall experience of the game.
We are happy to announce the addition of two new languages. As always they will be immediately available for use through settings in the game.
