There is one week left to The Outlast Trials Early Access!
On March 5th at approximately 10AM EDT we will be releasing our 1.0 update globally. We wanted to remind everyone that as it is stated in our Steam page Early Access questions, the game’s price will increase after March 5th.
Join Early Access before March 5th and you will get all the content of 1.0 plus you will receive the Grizzly Hazmat Outfit in-game, as well as a 50% discount on our Reagent Starter Pack which will be made available at launch.
Murkoff wants to mold its Reagents well and 1.0 is just the beginning! Featuring a new map, Toy Factory, new MK-Challenges and Programs, and more, we look forward to seeing all our Reagents in the Sleep Room on March 5th alongside fellow console players!

I'm happy to announce that we've added new features to the game. First off, many have noticed that the audio sliders were not present in the main menu, and the audio settings didn't always carry over from one scene to another. The sliders were intentionally not included in the main menu due to technical issues pre-launch. Not only have we fixed the issue of the settings carrying over, but the audio sliders have been added to the main menu.
Achievements
We've also added Steam Integration with Achievements. This has been a learning experience, and my first time using Steam Achievements in a game, so the achievements are very straight forward, completing each level. I have good news for early supporters of the game. For those of you who already own and played the game, you don't need to replay the entire game to earn the achievements. Every achievement for beating a level, will also unlock all the levels before it. So if you have all the levels unlocked, all you have to do is beat the final level and you'll get the achievements for all the previous levels.
Aside from these two features, this update includes some balance changes for those who have had difficulty with certain levels.
Here is the breakdown:

Reworked the entire drop collection process, fixing a bug where items couldn’t be collected under extreme conditions.
Fixed a bug where chip ejection backtrack would cause a stack of excessive effects.
New units added: Tri-Spectrum Cannon, Abandoned Saw.
New chips added: Heaven’s Judgment, Pragmatism, Physics, Immortality.

Shop algorithm optimized again, initial weapons had a 100% drop rate in the first two waves, now adjusted to a 50% chance.

Initial unit optimization: When there are too many initial units, the field of view will expand with the number of unlocked units to avoid some units at the bottom not being fully displayed.

We've just rolled out additional servers for Nightingale in South America!
For now, to access the new server in the South American region, you will need to create a new character (the ability to transfer preexisting characters to the new region will be available in a future game update).

This is a small update that attempts to fix a couple crash scenarios:
On some PCs, the game was crashing on start-up due to being unable to connect to the Steam API, due to missing DLL files. This release contains a couple changes that try to ensure the DLL files are present, but also adds a check to prevent the game crashing if that fails. However, even though the game will no longer crash, you will be unable to earn Steam achievements or access the Steam Overlay, until you manage to reconnect to the Steam API.
Try to fix a crash that could happen when the Skulls explode in the underground.
Fix an error that was being emitted when a gachaball was successfully kicked open.
Fixing these has been particularly tricky, as we haven't been able to reproduce them ourselves. Thanks to all those that have provided logs to work through debugging these issues!
