So, here we are! It took us a while but we finally did it. Today we bring a totally new interface for our game and a few other things.

Hope you will like the changes that we made. Please, welcome the 1.1 update!

• New interface
  • fish species are visible on the map selection screen,
    
  • the selection of lures and equipment takes place by pressing the icon. You no longer have to drag & drop items.
    
  • the name of the map and room number is displayed in the game interface,
    
  • player profile is now also available from the fishery,

• New catch camera - 3rd person view for fish weighing over 5 kg,
  
• Fish weighing over 5 kg can be sold without leaving the map,

Changes:

• VIP account
  • level requirements:
    From today's update, the VIP account will no longer unlock all maps and items. The new VIP system lowers the required level for equipment and maps by 6 levels.
    The rest of the VIP account functionality remained unchanged.
  
  
• Items durability
  Lures, lines, and other consumable items wear out only if you caught or lost the fish.
  
  
• Russian map:
  • new lake in the middle of the forest,
    
  • terrain modification near the start location,
  
  
• Increased number of fish on some maps,

What can I say - just turn on the game and tell us what you think about it! The team did a really great job.





Since today's update, the VIP account has been slightly changed. Many people complained that playing the game with VIP was becoming pointless for them - because everything in the store, as well as all maps, are already unlocked. So we decided to make a small change - from today the VIP account reduces the required level by 6 levels.

How does it look in practice?
Normal account: Sakura Mitsio (required level 24)
VIP account: Sakura Mitsio (required level 18)

This is quite a significant change, so we will want to conduct a survey and get to know your opinion on the changes introduced in update 1.1.



Many players complained about the rapid wear of consumables. Therefore, we decided to change it and from now, all consumables items will wear out only after a successful catch or fish lose (line broke, etc.).



A small change, but important as any other! Some floats glow now at night! Night fishing should be much easier now!

So it's finally here! Thanks to everyone for participating in the open beta tests! Thanks to you, we have improved a few things and we hope that big fish will look really big now!

Today we are officially releasing a public beta for everyone who wants to try new features earlier and help us find bugs before live version.

We hope that thanks to the beta tests of new features - we will be able to eliminate minor bugs or implement proper changes and/or adjustment.

• New trophy view for fish with weight over 5 kg,

• Changed wels model (2k textures, more bones, additional animations),

I hope you have a bad mood because I've some good news for you :)

Our small team works in the sweat of their foreheads to introduce profound patches and new features to Professional Fishing. What? I will talk about some of them below :)

Since the game launch, many people have complained about the quality and readability of the GUI in the game. We have never denied that it is good, on the contrary - we said you were right. Our small team has found some time and is working on a completely new UI.

What are its assumptions?

We have already mentioned this recently and would like to inform you that the changes are going very smoothly. We try to adjust the size of the fish in relation to the player's form based on real pictures of fish and fishermen in reality.





We hope you will enjoy the final result.

With the new scaling of fish, many of them will be 'huge' which will require a new view of the trophy (from a different perspective). More about it below :)

Many people - including us, wanted to introduce large (really huge!) fish that will delight players with their size. Due to having only one trophy view (fish) - from the first person perspective, it was hard for players to enjoy the view of huge honkers!

We finally decided to implement this idea and we started working on the view of the trophy from a different perspective. Below you will find a screenshot.

This is probably the most difficult question. As I mentioned before, the whole team works in the sweat of their brows. Both UI and Trophy View require a lot of work, which translates into huge amounts of time.

We are releasing a new game update which should bring some bug fixes and promised Sakura© casting reels.

• Small correction in in-game texts (descriptions, etc.)

In recent days, several people have been banned in the game with displayed ban reason as: "catching fish".

It was caused by wrong server-side anti-cheat configuration at our new map - Bass Marshland.

Of course, everyone is compensated in the form of VIP days and cash in the game.

After a few days of searching for errors and the reasons for their creation, we finally succeeded - we found the source of problems and eliminated them. We would like to apologize to everyone for this event. If with the update 1.0.18, your game ceased to be unplayable, I would very much ask you to create a support ticket. We'll compensate for your lost time.

Soon, we should release also a new patch, which will introduce major changes to the fish scaling system. Thanks to this, large fish will finally look big. This system involves many other things, such as a new system of pulling fish out of the water and fish presentation (you wouldn't be able to hold 60kg catfish in real-life). Unfortunately, we can't do this at the same time and we have to do things one by one.

Therefore - first we will release a patch with a new fish scaling system and later the other ones.

Many times you mentioned on the forum that the reels are too weak, so we decided to make some change introducing more realism. The durability of the reel will be several times greater.

Why? Until now, the value of the drag in the reels corresponded to the weight of the fish he could pull out. However, as we know, in reality, it looks a bit different, because the "water buoyancy" works on fish, which makes them seem lighter when we pull them. We've introduced a similar rule to the game, so reels are now 'stronger'. We hope you will be satisfied with it.

Also in the next patch, we should release a new wels catfish model which will have higher quality textures and more bones. It will allow us to show in another way how the player holds fish, ex:


Also, our 3D designer is working on new catfish species, how you could see above :) First new catfish will be - "Flathead"

today we are releasing our first big update containing a new map, few new fish species, new equipment, and a few bug fixes.



In this update, we focused on players feedback regarding fish species in USA map - more accurately - on the bass species (we should change species on old USA map soon). Together with them, we are also releasing casting rods and reels* (*we will add more of them next week).

Bass Marshland is a vast swamp, located in North America. A characteristic feature for them is that without a boat you can not move between islands, so if you can't swim - better don't go here. In Bass Marshland you'll find many bass species, including peacock bass, striped bass, crappie and much more. Rumors say that the largest Striped had 57 kg!

This is related to the fact that we decided to release updates less frequently - however, they will contain more bug fixes and / or new features, items, etc.

For a long time, we thought about what should we do in the first place. We read many of your ideas and opinions, thanks to which the choice was much simpler.
