Hello Navigators!

I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween and got plenty of sweets and not too many jump scares!

I certainly didn’t get through it, candy in hand without a few jump scares. New bugs appearing in the beta branch and the security vulnerability (which had been resolved). A few scares to be sure 😜.

For the rest of October, it has really been a month of bug fixing and polish. I want to thank all who signed up for closed beta testing, and for all the reports you submitted to ensure this major release is ready to go live. As it stands the creation of multiple galaxies is functional, users may also import and export their galaxies, and the conversion script has been updated to accommodate the latest changes. There were also a couple bugs that had been introduced when the last major GUI refactor was done which have been resolved. While there is still much left to do for this update, including importing and exporting solar systems, it is well on its way to moving into the public beta test branch. Keep an eye out in November for more updates on that.

Looking a bit further down the road, some consideration and investigation has gone into a search function at the galaxy map level. Which would allow users to search for and select specific star systems. Not much more to say on this, but some of the functions in the import/export may tie well into the development of a search function.

Halloween may be over (and with it the discount), but the apartment doesn’t stop shifting... and neither do we.
Thanks a lot for all the feedback and bug reports, they really help us keep tightening the experience.

Patch notes:

- Revised and improved German translation.

- The game now uses profile names for progression saves, so old progression saves (loop/map state) will no longer work. (Don’t worry: collectibles and diaries are not affected.)

- Restoring a save from some loops could cause the player to fall into the void and unintentionally trigger the secret area. This has been addressed.

- The custom interaction key now correctly works when releasing/dropping items.

- Fixed several interaction objects that were not being removed properly after use.

- Performance improvements, especially in Secret Level 2.

- Adjusted and fixed a few collision issues.

I Have some minor-to-major changes for you all!

First and the largest, Object Memory! So previously, if you wanted to keep track of things for a Location, Character, or Item, previously you'd have to tell the AI to put it in one of the fields like description or background history, however, now, each object type has a dedicated space for anything you might want to keep tracked on an individual level. This might be things like experience gained, secret identities, their personal goals and intentions, school schedules, etc. Basically only limited to what your game rules track!

In no particular order, some other minor additions/changes: A continue button to 'continue' the scene without further player input. A button in the music manager to loop the current song. Non-host players should be able to use the game master input if they have the admin permission assigned. Selecting faction in the character/location generator. And various bug fixes.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy and use this new powerful tool in your campaigns!

Waterpark Simulator - Hai Cayplay

Many of you have been asking for some extra time and since Halloween is the season of giving, we have extended the Halloween for an extra 48 hours (ending now on the 5th of November at 5 PM UTC ).

So use it to grab any missing candy to unlock any attraction you are missing.

(Note:We won't update the game for the extension so you will see the timer going into negative. You got untul the -48hours )

And if you had enough Halloween, remember you can disable it in the settings by turning off seasonal events.
