We’ve been hard at work making many updates & improvements to Platypus Reclayed. There are so many it’s hard to know where to start so let’s dive straight into the big one - we navigated the uncharted waters of music licensing successfully and so the oft-requested Ocean Loader music has been added to Platypus Reclayed!
Ok ok, so that’s the biggest community request sorted but there are more significant changes, such as the official addition of Steam Workshop support and associated modding tools. Our Discord community has been hard at work developing several mods and add-ons. From today they can be easily shared, played and managed via Steam Workshop. We’ve also provided much more functionality, such as Lua support, to allow modders to get more creative going forwards.
Do you want more Platypus levels? We can fix that! We’re giving away free bonus DLC to celebrate spooky season with ‘Spooky Platypus’ and you’ll soon find our free Desert mod and other mod concepts of our own on Steam Workshop. Along with community mods, we hope this will keep you returning to Platypus Reclayed for many a year to come.
Patch #2 also brings a whole bunch of quality of life features requested by our community including scoreboard filtered by difficulty, multiple user profiles, 7 new music tracks, music selector for the primary Reclayed mod, streamer-safe music options, revamped options menu, two new galleries including fan art and the National Video Game Museum feature on Platypus, and much more.
Oh and… Steam Trading Cards are now live in the ecosystem!
Download the update, share with your friends, and check mods out on Steam Workshop today!

Thank you for your support! We will continue to refine the game experience.

Previously, items were more specialized, aimed at improving one or a couple of attributes. With this update, items now contain a wide range of modifiers that can be useful not only in different situations but also for a wider range of abilities.
For example, the “Voodoo” upgrade increased damage at long range which narrowed the possible use cases. Now, in addition to increased damage at range, all abilities with fire or physical damage receive bonuses.

Most items have been rebalanced in one way or another. Some have added new modifiers, some have changed in rarity, and some have changed drastically. For example, the evolution 'Flame'.

And of course, there are new items. This update contains 27 of them!
• 15 evolution
• 3 passive
• 8 upgrade
• 1 active

We continue to improve the interface for better comfort and readability. Health bars for allies and enemies now have different colors. In addition, damage values are now displayed as pop-up numbers above the characters' heads.

For greater clarity, icons have now been added to the ability descriptions ːsteamhappyː

We're waiting for you in the game. Please tell us what you think of this update. See you soon!

You can adjust Linkers directly within your Tactical Plan—remember to save!
Added protagonist name change option (bottom-left corner of the menu).

You can now disable the “skip story confirmation” pop-up.

Hey everyone!
V0.22 is all about Claire, the daughter of Spring Hill's Chief of Police. Three thrilling new quests await you as you engage in a dangerous game of cat and mouse with her. The only question is: whose trap will spring first?
The Steam Release Window is November 21-28, as soon as translations are updated and final bug testing is done.

Cursory Investigation (Claire– Quest 1)A brief text message calls you to Spring Hill Police Department. There you meet Claire again. From that point on you sense eyes on you wherever you go, and the shadow that trails you feels like the first clue that something larger is in motion...
Cat and Mouse (Claire– Quest 2)Armed with what you know about Claire’s motives, you decide to turn the tables. You slip deeper into her life until you are part of it, as you begin to undermine and manipulate the close bond between her and her father.
Case Closed (Claire– Quest 3)The confrontation between Claire and the MC comes to a head. The MC was too sure of himself and underestimated how sharp a budding detective Claire really is. His overconfidence proves costly.

Claire will become a regular member of your harem, with new scenes available at your home and at the police station. She can become pregnant and she can move into your house, which unlocks two additional scenes.
Violet is a new side character you can encounter in the gym locker room. She becomes available once you own the gym. She takes to the new gym rules with enthusiasm and chooses to stay naked whenever possible. Her confidence draws you in and you see an opening... there's just one problem, her boyfriend is also there. But that's no challenge you can't handle.
Violet features fully animated scenes, and once she is fully corrupted you unlock another unique gameplay bonus.
