Ostranauts - Daniel@BlueBottleGames
Hey Folks!

Time for another video, so I collected some new art and features we've been working on since last time.

So what's new?

New avatars! Plus ship roles, new captain-only POV, ailments, and more:

New Avatars, POV Changes, Jobs, Concept Art, and Stats

In this video, we take a look at the new avatars and animations, a change to the player's POV, new concept art for Hyun Lee Petware, the beginnings of a job and role system, and new physiological stats.

If this sounds interesting to you, please wishlist Ostranauts on Steam here. Wishlisting it will give me an idea how much interest there is in this game, and how much time I can spend on it.

And if you know anyone else who might dig this type of game, let them know! Spreading awareness is something everyone can do to help me continue to make games like this.

Thanks for your time, and stay tuned for more spacelife news!

Hey Folks!

A bit overdue for another video, so I put together some more footage of the latest stuff we've been working on for Ostranauts.

So what's new?

A fair bit! More art, salvaging, trading, and other features:

Salvage, Trade, and New Concept Art

In this video, we take a look at new concept art for the Newcal aerostat on Venus, salvaging a derelict, new UI features, selling some valuable equipment to a vendor, and how we keep our ship's finances in the black.

If this sounds interesting to you, please wishlist Ostranauts on Steam here. Wishlisting it will give me an idea how much interest there is in this game, and how much time I can spend on it.

Ostranauts - Blue Bottle Games, LLC
Hey Folks!

We've been busy over at Blue Bottle Games since the Ostranauts teaser launch, and I wanted to share some of the highlights from the past month.

So what's new?

Well, if you have a minute, I've cut a video to walk through some of the more interesting changes:

New Concept Art, Power Grids, and Repairs

In the video, I show off the latest concept art for K-Leg, a shipbreaking facility on 1036 Ganymed. I also walk through firing-up a ship's inertial confinement fusion reactor, new pathfinding code, uninstalling and reinstalling equipment, a new context menu, and a recap of how character generation works.

NEO Scavenger - contact@rockpapershotgun.com (Dominic Tarason)

Living in space sounds like a claustrophobic nightmare, and Ostranauts isn’t doing much to change my opinion on the matter. Billed as a “noir spaceship-life sim”, it’s the next from Neo Scavenger studio Blue Bottle Games, and set in the same universe. Earth is completely screwed by forces both man-made and cosmic, so players get to manage a small ship, trying to make ends meet in a solar system in the throes of (very) late capitalism. The game’s full nature is still a mystery, but it’s reminding me of The Sims, Duskers and Space Station 13. Take a peek at the teaser trailer below.
