To be fair, you may already know her. Queen Angelica made her debut in Colossus Down, ruling Candyland with a glossy iron fist and the sweetest charm. This time you’ll have the chance to dive into her background story and unravel the mystery of when and why that cute little girl became a hero and a villain at the same time. Cool, right?

ANGIE MAGICA will feature lots of places to discover, friends to meet, powers to unleash, spells to cast, puzzles to solve, charms and stickers to collect, dishes to cook... It's an epic and magic gourmet action adventure like no other!

Crabs And Rats - Press For Coffee
  • Stackable items now have a cap, 50 for damage wise and 2 for guardian angel.
  • Damage stackable items increase their cost in function of the stacked items (every 10 stacked will cost 1 more).
  • If you buy items you will attract more powerful crabs every 5 crabs you overcome you will match one really stronger, also if you kill crabs really fast you will get way more score, we add this change in order to reduce the ingame time it takes to score really high numbers when you get really strong.
  • We fixed a visual bug with the new dead animation where it got overdue by other movement animations like falling or jumping.
  • If you are fighting crabs with no items you will attract weaker crabs.

Happy NIGHT @ SKY HOUR the Sixth! Today, SKY HOUR WORKS celebrates the 6th year anniversary of our debut release A NIGHTMARE'S TRIP, and the 5th year anniversary of SPACE / MECH / PILOT! We're keeping things light but aren't empty-handed - let's start with our headliner announcement:

NEODITRONIX - the next SKY HOUR WORKS published release, comes to Steam on October 22nd!

We're excited to announce another project joining the SKY HOUR WORKS library - introducing NEODITRONIX by log(), the dreamcore rhythm experience. NEODITRONIX is a freeware rhythm adventure game, made as a passion project by a friend of our doujin circle, and we're excited to assist with its launch on Steam, as well as assist in additional funding for licenses for 1.0 launch content. Part side-scrolling adventure game, and part arcade rhythm game, this game is aiming for something a lot more deeply personal as a work, which is why I found it to be a good fit for the label and picked it up without question. It's made as a love letter to both the genre and SKY HOUR WORKS as a whole, so it's an honor to help collaborate and bring this release to life.

Chapter 0 will release on October 22nd and as mentioned before, will be completely free to play. No microtransactions, no locked paid content. This is a freeware doujin release in the classic sense.

UPDATE ON MAINLINE SHW PROJECTS

With UNBEATABLE on the horizon, I've called for a temporary pause on internal SHW projects until that is wrapped, but some people are still touching up things here'n there! HAOxSORA =THE SKY'S ABOUND= -RIDE TO OUR FINAL- is still in development and we've been working on both new music and assets for it semi recently. We're still waiting for some team members to be available again to resume RE: DECEIVED VOICE as well. I aim to be pushing more for SHW projects in 2026 once I'm a lot more free - for now, I'm prioritizing our currently published projects, both Beatblock and Neoditronix, while supporting Hajimeli with their future efforts as a part of our continued collaboration between SHW and them.

My hope is for RE: DV and HAOxSORA's Steam release to mark the full release of the originally promised SEASON ONE collection of the games, which is still planning on including a physical release! Really sorry about that delay - as it turns out, making games while working full-time on others is hard. Oops! I could say all of this stuff might release in 2026, but I'll give an actual estimate once we're making progress on those things again. That'd make a whole lot more sense then another gajillion year delay, lol.

OTHER THINGS
  • Although you can purchase A NIGHTMARE'S TRIP (and it is on sale literally right now), beginning today, the game has now been added to the Internet Archive, ensuring its preservation and free, safe digital access. We would, however, extremely appreciate it if you are able to purchase the game if you can!

    • We will do an upload of SPACE / MECH / PILOT onto the Internet Archive in 2026.

  • In case you missed it, we helped launch Beatblock to great success, and are happy to announce the game has sold over 4000 copies in its first week and recouped within the opening 24 hours. The Beatblock team BubbleTabby aims to continue their work on bringing the game to a final 1.0 release!

That'll be all for tonight. We hope to resume more frequent updates and return to our internal projects once people within the group have more time. Despite it all, we still are doing this mostly because it's fun, and is to us, our hobby side-thing outside of our day jobs. The fact that people love this small, low-key thing that we do all these years later means a lot, and we hope to keep that up and expand further into bringing our doujin works to public events in 2026.

- Shuffle just moves the top card of the deck to the bottom (so you'll always know what the next card you get when you shuffle is)
- You can know see the order of all cards in your deck
- When you're out of cards you can now always reclaim all played cards by spending 5 energy
- Starting deck is bigger
- Scrolls now give 2 shuffles
