Morels: The Hunt - AbramsStudiosDave
Hello everyone!
We've rolled out a minor update today with a few bug fixes. Happy hunting!

-Fixed weekly task bug for photographing a scorpion. Sometimes if you had previously photographed a scorpion when you got to this weekly task, it would not count the new photograph of the scorpion towards the weekly task. This has been fixed.

Fixed area of Redwoods where you could get over the fence to an unplayable area.

Hello to all of the hunters out there. We are so very thankful to all of you who have chosen to experience the game. We have been listening to the feedback provided by the players and have a patch that we're rolling out today. Please make sure to update your clients.

Morels Bug fixes 10-23-2019

-Loading screen music will also be affected by the In Game Music slider in settings.

-Texas Ranch is a large map and you are unlikely to have been able to purchase the camping tent when you first unlock this map. We have added a shelter on the other side of the map where you can end your day or camp for the night without having to come back to your home base.

-Fixed “extremely large owl” from spawning in Indiana Level

-Fixed area in Texas Ranch where you could get stuck between a rock and a tree

-Even though you could always Save your game anytime in the Game Menu, we went ahead and added an option to Save and Quit when you are quitting your game from the menu. You can still quit without saving if you wish as well.

-The “All Achievements” achievement was confusing. We changed the name and description. The new name of the achievement is Single Season Champion. You will get this achievement if you have completed everything in a single game.

Thanks again to everyone, and good luck out there!

I have never met a person who loves mushrooms as much as my dad. It is, in fact, rare to meet anyone who loves anything as much as my dad loves mushrooms. Therefore, after some time playing and enjoying mushroom gathering adventure Morels: The Hunt myself, I invited him to come and play with me.

As we were waiting for an update to download, I realised that my dad s love for mushrooms has been an accepted fact throughout my life, and so I have never bothered to ask him why. So I asked. It s The Hunt, he told me. He did not know the name of the video game, but I heard the capital letters. You don t know where you ll find them and what you ll stumble across. And they re beautiful! They re artistic! And edible! What s not to like?

Well, we were about to find out.

Hello Everyone! We wanted to make a quick announcement letting you all know that we believe we found the source of the bug that would sometimes cause some rather drastic reactions to the player when interacting physically with some of the wildlife and objects. We've patched the client with a fix so please make sure you update your game.

We also wanted to take some time to let everyone who has purchased the game and has been spending time in Morels know just how much we appreciate your patronage. We will continue to work hard on your behalf to make sure that you have the most fun experience we can deliver. You are all amazing.

Thank you all for the support and for playing Morels: The Hunt. We are keeping an eye on all of your feedback and suggestions.

Updates and Fixes

- We’ve made the first few days easier. There will be more items in your inventory to start with on a new game/season. Each morel is worth more points. Your chance of getting a tick your first few days is less.

- Added an Invert Y mouse option in settings under gameplay.

- Fixed animals running away from the camera.

- Fixed the issue of sometimes ending up in the water when choosing to ride the raft across the river.

- Set default mouse sensitivity to 30 from 45. (We may lower this even more based on your feedback)

- The message letting you know it is getting dark soon now comes on the screen sooner. This will give you more time to get back to the cabin/home base.

- Taken out the +1 on the screen when you collect a morel. Lowered the volume of the ding a little bit.

- After photographing an animal, the message is on screen less time and you have the option to hit Enter or click on the left mouse button to remove it from the screen.

- When you almost drown you no longer lose an extra day.

- First person pickup view and Third person pickup view in settings was sometimes not changing correctly. This has been fixed.

We will continue to monitor all of your feedback. Thank you again to all who have supported and played the game.

The deadliest prey is not bear, nor boar, nor even bloke; it’s mushroom. Lurking in the leaf litter, the wrong fungus can lure you in with fairytale fanciness then kill you stone dead. Let’s salute the true brave hunters, the people heading into the virtual woods to face down mushrooms in Morels: The Hunt. Released today, it resembles your traditional hunting games like theHunter in that you roam around open-world wilderness filled, look at animals, unlock high-tech gear, and come home with a tasty dinner. Except you’re hunting mushrooms, and shoot only photographs. Having often wished pretty hunting games had strolling modes, I’m game.
