Hey everyone!
I hope you’re all doing well. Here’s another update for Trenches VR, focused mainly on bug fixes, UI improvements, audio options, and various enhancements to the main menu and settings.
Patch Notes Updates v1.02:
Improved UI layout and overall text readability.
Added a new “Game Info & Controls” button in the main menu to help players understand the gameplay basics.
Sound sliders have been added to the main menu, allowing you to adjust overall volume levels.
Added more randomized objects, jumpscares, and enemy spawn points to increase replayability.
Certain notes now feature randomized text that appears differently each playthrough.
Fog density now varies each game session. Some playthroughs may be more or less foggy than others.
Fixed incorrect wording in some menu options.
Improved clarity of gameplay guidance text to better inform players of their objectives.
Fixed an issue where opening the backpack could sometimes cause a black screen.
Additional minor bug fixes and optimizations.
Thank you again for your support and feedback. Really appreciate it!

Please take a look and send in your feedback to help make this game awesome!
When completed, DREAMRENDER will be published as a free update to Simulacrum. Until then, a beta of a limited version of the game is open to everyone, so the finished product is as polished as possible.
Replaced many almond water labels
Most almond water labels have been replaced, and bootleg almond water bottles have been re-introduced with a new label. These are now labeled "Backrooms Basics" almond waters and deliver +4 sanity and +4 hydration. These new labels provide much more information about the liquids as well, so you know what you've crafted in the liquid brewer.
Made some assorted graphical changes to level RUN
Some pipes that previously didn't have collars now have them. In addition, a couple of weirdly-clipped doors have been removed. There are also a few new dirt and rock effects near the cave breakdown area.
Made windows stabbable
Windows now can take 3 stabs from a melee weapon to be deactivated. This also applies to the screwdriver that is with you always.
Other rapid-fire changes:
Added invisible walls to level 94
Removed enemies from level 40 in no entity mode
Fixed an odd issue with backpack items spawning in the tutorial and going everywhere
Replaced the vault label

Not a lot here, today! Just a teensy hotfix to patch a couple of issues noticed from yesterday's update.
Fixed some achievements not unlocking correctly after continuing from a save where they should have unlocked. The interim fail-safe.... failed 😔😔😔
Fixed a newly added cutscene being able to play again after continuing from a saved game.
Greetings to all you Ghouls and Goblins out there!
We’re very excited to let you all know that we will be taking part in this year's Scream Fest 4 event, so be sure to check out the demo and join us on Discord.
That being said, we’ve been a little too quiet and want to change that. The entire team has been hard at work making the game everything it can be and addressing feedback from the various events and showcases.
Also…We can’t just say that and not have something to share at least! So here are a few screenshots of what we’ve been working on, just remember this is still early in progress!

Thanks again for all you’re support and stay tuned as we have a lot in store over the coming months!

Hey Packmates!
First of all, a huge thank you to those of you who played the Packmates Demo through Steam NextFest and an extra thank you to those of you who posted feedback in Steam Discussions, Reviews, and our Discord server. This is a quick update to keep you guys in the loop as to what the goals are for the next patch as well as a brief overview as to what will be included.
There are two main goals for this patch, the first goal is improving progression by building out the passive trees and adding more than just stat increases to make them feel more meaningful.
The second goal is to adjust balance to make the game feel faster, more difficult, and engaging. As part of this, balancing the game such that progression actually matters. Later acts will feel a lot harder but that is where the new Hero Trees will come in.
This is a list of some of the changes coming to the patch, this is not a complete list as the patch is still being worked on.
Based on feedback, movement speeds have been greatly increased
The first Forest Map that included only Slimes has been removed so you can jump right in to the action sooner
The Overgrown Treant boss has been removed
Enemy spawn rates have been increased as well as a complete re-balance of their stats
Map objective areas are much larger and take longer to capture. While capturing these objectives, waves of enemies will spawn to make them much more engaging
Enemies, objectives, and breakables no longer despawn at the end of the map. Instead, when the portal spawns, a circle of corruption will also spawn that starts closing in on the portal as enemies will continue to spawn. You will have a bit of extra time to grab things and get more gold but don't get too greedy or you will be overwhelmed as you try to portal out!
Charms are now part of the progression system, they are unlocked in Hero Trees and are equipped in Hero Select. Now when you select your class you can equip some charms with item synergies and different builds in mind!
(As it doesn't make sense for the Tailor to sell Charms anymore, they have been removed from her shop)
Looking forward to hearing your feedback on the new changes once they are implemented!
If you have not done so yet, you can join our Discord server Here, hope to see you there!
