What we're doing

We understand it has been a couple of weeks since the last update however we want you all to know that as usual, we're busy working hard on updating all of the graphics for everything. Every level, texture and tower will be updated to a new style.

Why

This will not only make the game look better, it will be more consistent and also open up the opportunity for more biomes in the future (we've got lots of ideas).

What will this mean

There won't be any content updates until this large new update goes live. We're putting all of our efforts into making new assets and textures and this is going to take considerable time but rest assured, we're doing our best to get it live as soon as possible.

Where are we up to

We've done our first new map (the map you see in the screenshots above) and we're currently reworking the second map.

Closing thoughts

We're excited for the opportunities this update and hard work will bring and we know it'll be better for the game in the long run. It also makes the game feel like a new game for those who have been playing for years.

Beacon of Neyda - GhostDev


It's almost the end of the year and maybe this new dev diary is a bit late but it's going to have to count for two. Christian here again with news about Beacon of Neyda.




"Best Art"

For a few months we have a pre alpha build of the game that we use to participate in events and thanks to the wonderful work of our artist Franco alias "Pelado" and the small team that we have in general we have won two awards so far. Something that makes us very happy because if we achieved that with a job in pre alpha, can you imagine what we could achieve with a final version?

Having said all this, we currently have a new pre alpha version which will be receiving adjustments and maybe you can see it in an event in which we participate or in a closed test that we organize (Follow us on our Discord community to find out about it). For now we do not have any candidate versions for a public demo and it is something that we will only think about during 2023.




Development status

As I mentioned before, we have a new playable pre alpha version. With a simplified exploration underground, the integration of general and individual upgrades.
For example one of the problems that we detected is that games with this "2D defense style" is that you have the main character that moves from one corner of the map to the other several times and the movement is slow and tedious when expanding your domains a lot. Therefore, one of the first upgrades that you have access to is about movement, allowing you to move much faster through your domains and it is not the only one, future upgrades will focus on the movement of exploration outside your domains, making it a more dynamic game.

Being in such an early stage of development of the game we have been integrating support for multiple languages, because yes, we have already integrated a simple dialogue system in the game since we want that when expanding the game it is an element with which we already have as base and not have to integrate it at the last minute.

The "Beacon of Neyda universe" is growing every day and we want to give interesting lore to whoever is looking for it and great gameplay to whoever just wants to play.




What will happen during Christmas and New Year?

We have been working on this project and others throughout the year and the team deserve a break for the great work they have done, we still haven't gotten full funding for Beacon of Neyda so we have only been working part time on the project "best case scenario".

Therefore we will take a few weeks off, that doesn't mean that our social networks will not be active but at least until next year there will be no big news (which could be... I can't say anything else)

We hope 2023 will be a great year for Beacon of Neyda and our team. We hope you have a happy holiday and see you next year!

My New Memories - K7 / My New Memories Dev
Hello there Steam People!

Some time has passed and I think it's only fair to give you guys a proper progress update.

I've been slowly but surely working on Chapter III, fleshing out a lot of ideas and things that I had in mind. I'm currently figuring out new locations to visit and of course, new outfits for everyone to wear. I know this is just a small detail for some people, but I personally want the girls ( and the MC ) to wear different clothes - Let's call it a pet peeve of mine. It doesn't consume that much time but just adds to the game, I think.

I'm not sure if I already mentioned it, but Chapter III will mark the end of the whole amnesia arc. The MC will most likely get all his memories back... How? Well, that is something you will discover once you play it. It won't happen as you might think it will. This Chapter will probably be the most intense chapter we had so far in the game. It will ultimately lead to a very important event involving a character that has grown to be a fan favorite...Which is something I didn't expect.

There will be of course some more bonding with girls you recently started to deepen your relationship with. Yukiko, for example, is very curious on your feelings depending on how you ended your date with her. Lina, who now settled fully back in at home, also wants to continue where you two left off before she went to Germany. That is all optional, of course, you are not forced to go that way with any of the girls.

And then there is Jessica...After the last event it looked like the MC and her can finally start from the beginning again, as siblings that care for each other. There might be one thing that could destroy all of this again, though...The relationship with Sabrina ( if you decided to go that way. I can highly recommend you do, though, since the goal is still to have all girls eventually! ). While everyone else might be surprised in a positive way, Jessica possibly has different feelings regarding this...

We also will have the chance to talk to Dr. Rosenberg again. But my intention this time might be a little different. She was very interested in the relationship you have with Sabrina...And you can decide to dig deeper into her interest there. You might be surprised what you'll discover, but Dr. Rosenberg is more than the cold therapist you only saw a few times. There is more to her than one might think. And if you decide to confront her with that, the outcome might be...Interesting.

Overall, I pretty much have all the content for Chapter III planned out already, which is good, the release can happen sooner than later than. The ending of it is my favorite part, especially because it will start a completely new arc - One that basically everyone that gave me feedback about the game wanted. I'm not going to spoil anything, but it will be the most wholesome and emotional event we had so far in the game - Actually, two of them.

Lastly, I have some more teasers and renders for you to give you a few glimpse into the update. Those renders won't say much except that you will spend time with the girls you see in the render. I will give you another progress update once we reach the end of the year - Including Christmas renders, of course! If you want to see more special renders, don't forget to join the Discord! I'll usually post 2-3 renders a week there that I made just for fun ( and some of them are even lewd ). If you got any feedback etc, don't hesitate to share it here or on discord! I know waiting for the update sucks, but I promise you the wait is worth it! And don't forget, ALL future updates will be free - Forever!

  1. For difficulty levels, a multiplier has been added that controls the effect of crew levels and commander characteristics in order to increase difference between difficulty levels.
  2. A couple of minor UI changes have been made.
  3. A couple of bugs have been fixed.
First Class Trouble - Crazyman


We recently pushed patch 1.7.5 live on all platforms. This patch is small in size, but we hope it proves to bring a big shift in how the game is played.



Patch 1.7.5 brings a new item and a shift to item spawns. This new item is the Throwable Syringe. We have received requests for a ranged weapon for Personoids for a very long time, but have struggled to find a safe and balanced way to implement it. We're hoping this is the correct solution, but we will be keeping a close eye on feedback to make sure.

Visually, the Throwable Syringe appears the same as a regular syringe. However, Throwable Syringes spawn randomly and not in Syringe Stands. When thrown at a healthy Resident, the Throwable Syringe will unfortunately cause immediate death so please handle with care. It is also not currently blocked by SIIC Shields, as the Shield Deployment System does not detect impacts from projectiles.

NEW FEATURE: Throwable Syringe
Personoids needed a well deserved buff so we added in this randomly spawning item that requires skill to execute, but used well it can certainly balance things out to your side.


  • Shuffled the keycard spawns around
  • Removed the Feedback/Accolade system as it is becoming deprecated
  • Removed Roadmap from main menu: The roadmap was not currently providing any extra information, so it is being removed to help minimize confusion
  • Removed Leaderboards from main menu: The leaderboards were causing many errors that we have been unable to resolve, so we have removed them as a last resort. Progress is still tracked but display will not currently be available.
  • Added in some custom outfits for some awesome people

We are listening to all bug reports, and we are working to fix them ASAP, but keep in mind that we are an Army of Two™.

  • Adjusted some minor shaders problems
  • Adjusted some minor sound problems
  • HUD showing white letter after returning from Mini Levels
  • Steam Cloud Save compatibility
  • Reduce Lens Flare intensity
  • Hidden Seeds not appearing problem
  • Endless Wall fruit count problem
  • Carrot Cake problems (Horse/Fisherman/Dark Area/Race)

For the achievements hunters out there: We are facing some problems with Steam Backend, but we are working on it :)
