The long time coming soon Mars 2030 1.2 update, is now coming very soon!

AdventRPG.com has maintained our plans to update Mars 2030 until the year 2030 and beyond. The 1.2 update we will add some new features and enhancements that round out the space travel experience. Giving you more mini-games to keep the epic trek to the red (green) planet lively.

Upcoming 1.2 Features:

If you encounter any problems please let us know in discussions. We try to fix any reported game breaking bugs as quickly as possible. Expect more new features coming to Mars 2030 soon.

-Fixed a bug that would auto-quit instead of loading the Hall of Fame.

-Adds Navigation points, which boost final score.

-Fixed a bug that would cause a restored game to trigger an empty event window, and stall the game.

We are excited to release Mars 2030 1.1 with new content, fixes, and adjustments that make the trip to Mars even more memorable. The following features were added or fixed in version 1.1:

-Achievements added.
-Ship Map added.
-Crew location indicators added.
-Crew Status browser added.
-Less thrust ("W" key) required to safely land on Mars.
-Quick Extra items button added.
-Crew Interactions added and diversified.
-Crew Mood more accurately reflected and accounted.
-Starbase Mars Railgun Drone controls no longer floaty.
-Starbase Mars Railgun Drone plasma torpedo added. Wave 4 and up.
-Railgun Drone graphic updated.
-Arrow cursor added.
-Help screen expanded.
-Close button added to Ship Status window.
-Slightly increased the recharge time of Overclock shields.
-Fixed music overlapping in the last half of the trip.
-Fixed a bug that sometimes caused irradiated crew to become immortal.

Hot Fix 1.1a
-Fixed music overlapping at the 12% marker.
-Fixed a bug that could cause the demise of a crew member due to radiation to irradiate (or zombify) additional crew.

Hot Fix 1.1b
-Fixed a bug that prevented power core viruses from correctly triggering a blinking alert light.

Hot Fix 1.1c
-Fixed a bug that could cause dead crew to come back to life irradiated.
-Fixed a display bug that caused certain irradiated crew to vanish from the ship map.
-Pressing "Esc" on the logo screen now skips right to the main menu.
-Loss of Oxygen or Coolant now causes a loss to morale.
-Reduced the chance of perma-failed Oxygen and Coolant System repairs by 50%.

Hot Fix 1.1d
-Fixed a bug where a badly damaged hull (and or a Navigation Virus) could cause the ship to become lost in space on orbit, instead of correctly ending the game.



This is the best build of Mars 2030 yet, but please report any bugs in comments or discussions. We will hot fix them asap. More achievements and content is still coming to Mars 2030. Relationships, new media, and experiments are next on the radar.

The following features were fixed or added for 1.0.

-Added top 3 Hall of Fame scores.
-Increased default Ammo to 300.
-Extra Ammo provides two rounds now instead of one.
-Added a half-way check point system to continue.
-Fixed a bug that caused character generation to hang up.
-Fixed a bug where crew with the name K.C. could cause events to hang up.
-Reduced the shield damage of Solar Storms.

Action mode is still under development. Updates and new features for Mars 2030 will continue indefinitely. Your feedback and bug reports have greatly helped during Early Access and we hope it will continue.

Minor rebalancing of cosmic events to better suit the new "Overclock Shield" function.

-5th Alien ship type added to Starbase Mars.
-Starbase Mars Railgun Drone hit points slightly buffed.
-Alien Armada positions adjusted.
-Event rate slightly increased.
-Certain rare cosmic events are slightly more common.
-Score should remain centered at high values.
-Asteroids do lower max shield damage, but higher minimum damage.

The first content update for Mars 2030 Early Access!

-Overclock Shield: A slowly recharging solar powered shield booster.
-Introducing Media. "Starbase Mars" features unlimited levels. Press F1 to play between crisis.
-Use the W and S keys (or arrow keys) to control the railgun drone in Starbase Mars.
-Hold the left mouse button down (or the k key) to rapid fire.
-Fixes a bug that caused a flu "spiral" to hang up the game.
-Fixed the days counter, it is no longer slightly blurry.

Eventually, there will be a media room and more things to do in it.

Build #575a - Quick Fix

-Steam Trading Cards have been released. Enjoy!
-Fixed a bug that caused "Overclock" button to not disappear.
-250 ammo is now default.
-Added lights to Starbase Mars.

-Best possible crew skills are practically default now.
-Reduced the damage of Micrometeorites.
-There is a chance that Micrometeorites do 0 damage to shields & hull.
-Reduced the pending notification display speed by 50%.
-Crisis bonus score display should no longer overlap the title bar.
-Xbox 360 controller should now work, in addition to USB.

Steam trading cards are ready and should be available soon!

-Fixes all internal tasks. Should no longer hang up the game no matter the condition of the crew.
-Fixes a typo in the U.S.S. Armstrong status window.

-Crew generation is now likely to select a crew with the most content.
-Added a pending task notification.
-Reduced the thickness of shields, to improve dodging.
-Mass Driver rounds now destroy Micro Meteors.
-Starting Ammo is now 200.
-Fixed a name display bug that caused "Ryan" and "Star" to not be deleted.
-Fixed music overlapping during Space Walks.
-Trip progress icon is (slightly) more accurate.
-Mission score (displayed after cosmic events) is more centered.
-Added a "X" close button on the options window.
-Changed the wording of the introduction text.
-Removed the brightest background stars.
-Depressed crew members will stop eating huge amounts of food.

*Build #559b adds a hotfix for "Lander Repairs" while all crew members are incapacitated. It should no longer hang up the game.

Community Announcements - Advent RPG
Early Access Build #558 resolves the following issues:

-Full screen display is no longer blurry.
-Full screen is now on by default.
-Fixed two spelling errors.
-Esc key works to exit options and the help menu, in addition to right clicking.
-Fixed an Oxygen repair bug. Basically, it required highly effective repairs to be performed by the lead crew member, who seldom has the spacewalking skill.
-Fixed a very unlikely Reroute task issue which could occur if you were low on parts and started a Reroute. This will make the last 30% of the trip more doable.
-Fixed a few minor sound issues.
