Bonanit - A Menorcan Horror Story - THEPRIMO

Over the past few days, I’ve been closely watching and listening to the feedback from streamers and players who’ve tried Bonanit. Your playthroughs, reactions, and comments have taught me so much.
Since this is my first game, I have to admit I went a bit overboard with the difficulty — when you play your own game a thousand times, you end up knowing it by heart… my bad.

Thanks to all your suggestions, I’m already working on a major update that will include a difficulty selector with two distinct modes, along with several performance improvements.


Nightmare Mode (New, coming soon)

A more balanced mode designed for those who want an intense experience — but not an impossible one.

  • The loop won’t restart completely after each failure.

  • Players will have a limited number of accumulated mistakes.

  • When that limit is reached, the game will offer one last chance to survive and continue from where you left off.

  • Fail that last chance… and you know what happens.

  • It will also include an automatic checkpoint upon reaching the final phase, allowing you to resume from that point in case something goes wrong.


Hell Mode (Original)

The game as it was originally intended:

  • Maximum difficulty, no help or mercy.

  • No checkpoints or second chances.

  • Designed for those who want to feel the full pressure of a true nightmare.


Technical Improvements (in progress)
  • General performance optimization and FPS boost.

  • Adjustments to lighting and physics for smoother gameplay.

  • Minor fixes in collision detection and object behavior.

Project: Gorgon - Lemons
This is a minor update to fix a few annoying bugs. We also have a preview of our new character creator for you to try out. If you're so inclined you can help us find good character presets for others to use! You will be credited in-game for the look if we use it. You can access the character creator preview right after logging in, before choosing your character.

Other fixes/changes:
  • Fix map issue causing minimap to not scale or follow properly. The fix for this also fixes the party UI duplication bug
  • Remove colliders from trees in Sun Vale causing people to fall through the ground. (Temp fix; the trees need to be replaced)
  • Fix terrain flickering in Serbule Hills
  • Recipes to improve mastercrafted hammer or club have been split into two recipes, one for hammer and one for club. The previously-existing recipe applies to hammers and the new recipe for clubs is in loot
  • The recipe "Blacksmithing: Improve Prophesied or Foretold Staff via Crafting" has become a Carpentry recipe
  • Fix bug with mod "If attack kills an enemy via direct damage, gain X Power and Hasten Current Reuse Timer of Pound To Slag -Y", it now properly affects Pound to Slag
  • Zhia Lian Whimsical Challenge changes
    • Main tier quests now require 250 items
    • New set of quests that only require 125 items for low population time slots
  • Added special display icon for the Serbule Spider Invasion to note when the event is in progress

Hey there guys and girls.

It has been a while since the last update but I was working the whole time. But my time was a bit limited in the last month.

The Main Quest is now 50 Quests strong and will end in the tropical lands where the next big update will take place.

- Changed: Fighting system is changed to a root motion based fighting system with combos

- Fixed: You can equip a spear while holding a shield without having the Phallanx-Ability unlocked

- Fixed: Bosses will loose awareness of your presence at certain circumstances

- Fixed: You can be pushed or send to the air by enemy attacks

- Fixed: It is possible to kick enemies into the air or push them away with certain attacks

- Fixed: Eyebrow color is not changing when the haircolor is changed

- Fixed: Female Goblin, Goblin Archer and goblin sorcerer do not give any exp

- Fixed: Goblin Archer do not get in close combat mode

- Fixed: Wrong hair color after character respawns

- Fixed: Block animation will not be triggered when the attack animation is running

Known issues and missing Content:

- Houses are empty and will be filled in the next update

- Character face types are removed and only one facetype is present

- Balancing should be made much better
