MORE STORY! Yes, I finally added more story to the game, continuing the independent quest chain normally begun in the tutorial, with Sam Holo. The new quest dives deeper in the lore, which many of you have been waiting for, besides adding more guidance and introducing important mechanics early on. It triggers after the tutorial OR if you start a game with 'Outis' and the tutorial off. As usual, you can completely skip it if you want to create your own unique adventures :)
By the way, the story is far from done and I'll be adding more later on, but I'm pretty happy about this part.
Other than that, 2.0.8 brings a lot of cool changes, many requested features and ships. Oh and the next part, before you all ask, is going to be Station Building DLC.

2.0.8 features:
  • Added a new part to the independent story quest, started in the tutorial with Sam Holo. It also triggers if you start a new game as Outis background without tutorial missions. Old saves up to level 20 and still at 'Outis' will recieve the quest-chain, otherwise, it's only available in new games.
  • Lone Wolf Perk is now obtained in the end of the new quest, instead of when reaching level 30 as Outis.
  • Added Perks: Scoundrel and Swashbuckler, both related to the new quest.
  • Added the option to go with Pirates (Red Skull) at the end of the tutorial. The tutorial is also a bit more complete now.
  • Hidden characters like Ziggy and Sam Holo can now be unlocked to start new games with. However, 'The Exiled' quest no longer triggers if you pick Ziggy when starting a new game. In addition, a few special characters cannot be picked with certain perks, for example: Sam Holo can't be selected at the same time as 'Outis'.
  • Tinhead Workshops now have quests with ship blueprints as rewards.
  • Added ship: Hornet, tier 3 Independent Gunship, size 1 (Shuttle).

If you intend to cosplay and bring any kind of weapons from in-game please make sure that they are not actually functional in any way, as it is extremely likely that your costume weapon would not be allowed in through the security check. We will not allow any functional or dangerous costumed weapons into the event.

All costume weapons will be inspected thoroughly by event staff before being allowed admittance into ExileCon and will be tagged once they are deemed okay. The tags should not be altered or removed from the item, or the weapon may be confiscated.

Below we have put together some guidelines on various costume weapons and effects that we might expect, and how they will need to comply in order to be admitted to ExileCon:

    Any costume weapons brought to ExileCon should not be in any way functional, and should also be lightweight and of an appropriate size.Oversized items are considered anything that will inconvenience other attendees, such as being difficult to move around, unable to turn without hitting someone, etc. If we determine an item is oversized it will not be permitted.All costume weapons and effects should not contain any live rounds, ammunition, or the ability to fire any kind of projectile (this includes anything akin to BB guns, nerf/airsoft weapons, etc.).Replica gun costume weapons are not permitted under any circumstances.Replica bow or crossbow costume weapons should not have a tensile string (making it possible to fire projectiles) or have no string at all. Any accompanying arrows should not have a head, or the head should be made of a soft substance and significantly blunt/rounded.Any costume weapons with a replica blade of any kind should not be made of metal and will have blunt rounded edges. This includes but is not limited to costume weapons made to replicate daggers, swords, axes, spears and lances.Metal costume weapons of any kind will not be allowed into the event - this may include weapons with metal parts, such as a wooden staff with a metal spear head on the top. We would consider this a weapon, and not a costume.Sharp costume weapons of any kind will not be allowed into the event, including sharpened blades, needles, or anything with a sharp point. As above, these are real weapons and not costumes.Large costume weapons should be made of an appropriate light-weight material. A replica Stone Hammer made of actual stone would be a real weapon, and incredibly heavy to carry all day - we would not allow this into the event. A replica Stone Hammer made of styrofoam and balsa wood would be much more appropriate for the event, and also safer.We will not be allowing stilts at ExileCon for Health and Safety reasons.If your costume is large you may not be permitted to sit in the allocated seating for the Keynote speeches on both days, and the closing talks on Sunday - we expect the theatre to be at capacity for these talks.

If your costume weapons do not meet these standards they will not be permitted into the event, or may be confiscated for collection at the end of the day. Please be prepared for the possibility that your costume weapon may not be permitted.

Please also consider your behaviour whilst in costume and carrying a costumed weapon - posing for "attack" photos with other attendees would be permitted. Actually wielding a replica Marohi Erqi at another attendee with any kind of force (even when it's made of foam) would not be permitted. Behaviour that our event staff considers to be dangerous or aggressive would result in being asked to leave the event.

Heya, folks!

This is an update to fix a couple issues y'all found with the Omega Update--and to expand modding accessibility even further!

Basically, we've dumped the entire game, in the form of a mod, in the install folder of the game, along with a readme. It should be a great starting place for your own creations, and we can't wait to see them.

Bulwark Evolution: Falconeer Chronicles - falconeer
An update on the map.

I've given the map a bit of love as part of the ongoing QoL improvements these weeks , (while I chill out a bit after next-fest).

Now if you click a location on that map that is yours you get a little view of the captains or commanders assigned there. Roll over the captain portrait to get a bit more information.

It's a small addition but one i think a lot of people who make big settlements with lots of traderoutes will appreciate. More is planned for the map and other screens in the future.

I've also fixed a bug where teleporting would allow your surveyor to spawn inside the mountain. Very messy.

Coming up sometime this week hopefully:
-adding a teleport/fast travel button the worldmap instead lf LMB , that's a bit yuk
- adding a hold LMB to activate a commander menu or random encounter instead of double click. Think a bit tidier solution to prevent accidental openings of that menu when all you want is to fly around. Hold might be clearer thatn double click, and will need a little hold progress bar.
