We’re excited to announce the final step in our re-brand: introducing Squad 44mm!
Become immersed in World War II warfare from the ground up, literally! Even the smallest of soldiers can turn the tides of war, especially infantry. Take on WWII from an entirely new perspective!
With our new name comes three new game modes:
Lily Pad Invasion
Storm the shores and take over the backyard! Make sure to watch out for environmental hazards like frogs, newts, and pesky dragonflies!
Panzer Garden Party
War is no picnic, folks. Hit the garden with your tot-sized tanks and dig up that soil! Leave no blade of grass unclipped!
BONUS MODE: Lieutenant Colonels Tea Time
Sneak into the lieutenant colonel's office and sabotage his tea with too much sugar! Watch out: he may spit out hot tea with disgust!
We hope you like the new direction of Squad 44mm. Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
The Warframe community has delivered another batch of eye-popping Customizations, now available here!
The latest TennoGen release features fresh Skins for Sevagoth and Gyre, a new Helmet for Yareli, and more! Released alongside our latest update, Dante Unbound, each item has been lovingly designed by your fellow Tenno and carefully curated by the Dev team at Digital Extremes.
WHAT IS TENNOGEN? For newer Tenno who might not be familiar, TennoGen refers to Warframe content created by Tenno, for Tenno. Talented artists from the Warframe community are able to submit their own unique designs for Weapon Skins, Armor, Warframe Skins and more.
HOW DOES THE SUBMISSION PROCESS WORK? Check out our TennoGen FAQ for all the information you need to get started.
Design submissions are reviewed by Digital Extremes’ internal art department and, if selected, are implemented directly into Warframe! The TennoGen artist involved then receives a 30% revenue share on the Steam sale of their creation(s). So, by adding TennoGen items to your Arsenal, you’re helping to directly support community artists!
WHERE CAN I FIND IT? If you play Warframe on PC, you can discover stunning TennoGen content directly through Steam! If you play on console, you’ll be able to find TennoGen content through the in-game Market, available for Platinum.
Even though we’re spring powered, it feels like we’re firing on all cylinders with just one week left till launch! One last coat of paint and our tiny taxi is ready to take on the world, but in the meantime, we wanted to say thanks for all the support with a little taste of things to come!
The Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom free Demo has been heavily updated and is available on Steam, right now!
It’s no surface level tune up either, you can expect things like different areas, new camera movements, huge graphics upgrades, tons of quality of life and level design improvements, plus a new minimap! And these barely scratch the surface, full patch notes can be read below, in all their glory.
As we’re gearing up for the final stretch, things are getting chaotic but also very, very rewarding. Thank you all for the interest you’ve shown for our little taxi game and please wishlist if you haven’t already. We even made a special game-breaking hat just for you!
See ya on launch day You’re the best!
Demo version 0.93 patch notes
Added Minimap for levels and sub areas
Lab and Granny’s Island are now treated as 2 different areas.
Camera and taxi now interpolate movement at higher frame rates, resulting in a smoother action were possible.
Added an auto-checkpoint system in certain areas. Traditional checkpoints still serve a purpose for when you completely run out of time, or for Mori-o-trons. Certain areas are not allowing auto-checkpoints. Those areas fall back on traditional checkpoints. Checkpoints still save the time you collected, in time based levels.
Added the possibility to look around
Demo no longer has photo mode (still present in release)
Huge graphics rework:
New 3d models
New textures
Backgrounds
Vertex painting
New visual effects
Ambient occlusion
Antialiasing
Other stuff I can't remember, as we literally reworked the whole game
Reworked the inside of Morio’s home.
Reworked buildings. Now the taxi is supposed to walk on rooftops by level-design.
Other game/level design improvements
Removed Arcade Panik from the public demo
Added a bunch of settings
Fixed too many bugs to list them here (or remember hehe)
Squaddies, prepare yourselves for our newest update. In v7.2.2, a new force has descended. Brace yourselves for the arrival of the “Sphere”.
The Sphere is Here
A monumental structure now looms above the battlefield. The Sphere has materialized in the skies, casting a shadow on the land below it. Its presence is both awe-inspiring and foreboding. The Sphere's mere presence has altered our capture point system on various layers, in addition to bringing a multitude of other changes to Squad.
Map Updates
Sphere has arrived in the following maps:
Skorbo
Sanxian Spherelands
Talil Outspheres
Yehorbrivka
Ballaya
Sumari Balla
Chorba
New Game Modes
Globular Destruction
Advance and Sphere
Spherevasion
Circular Control
Grenades have received a new spherical model and texture.
We have doubled the amount of grenades from their kit specific amount.
All grenades now act as anti-tank grenades.
The Sphere's Shadow
For better or for worse, the Sphere’s shadow is now a presence all Squaddies need to be aware of, as it will constantly move around the map and can impact minute to minute gameplay within a match. Squaddies must sit unsheltered within the Sphere’s presence for its effects to take place.
The Sphere is capable of giving life to those who are incapacitated under the Sphere’s shadow. Squaddies will be resuscitated as if a bandage was used after 90 seconds. You will be healed to full over 10 seconds after resuscitation.
The Sphere is capable of taking life. Friendly fire on those in the shadow will be returned to the soldier dealing damage. If a friendly takes lethal friendly fire damage you will find yourself instantly incapacitated.
The Sphere is capable of providing energy. Stamina consumption is 50% lower within the Sphere’s shadow and you regain stamina 25% faster.
The Sphere is capable of aiding the dispensing of freedom. Rifleman ammo bags will now refill at 1 ammo per second after 30 seconds of sitting in the Sphere’s shadow.
The Sphere is capable of protection. Vehicles and their armaments cannot enter where the shadow lies. Handheld armaments however, can.
The Sphere is capable of providing intel. Those who are within the shadow will be able to hear all communications regardless of team.
Emotes & Gestures
Added “Praise the Sphere” emote.
Added “Sphere juggling” gesture.
New Vehicles
Added the SPHR-146 to the Canadian Armed Forces. A new circular flight model.
Known Issues
The Sphere may occasionally deal damage and incapacitate players based on distance, dealing more damage the closer you are to it. We don’t know why but are actively investigating.
In this very tame update you can now uhm.. have sex with Hamsters..
This is the most requested update to the game BY FAR!
In this update you are able to bring a Hamster to the bed and interact with it. This will the player a chance to duplicate the Hamster and create an offspring, or there is a chance that it does not duplicate and just kills the Hamster.
This is now the only thing, there are a few optimization and little improvements here and there. Next update will bring out some polishing and allow for the games longevity.
