We wanna give an update on our upcoming content drop, House Party 0.14.4, which is all about the one and only LetyDoesStuff!
This update is a big ol’ sucker with new items, hundreds of lines of new dialogue, and Lety herself. We’re really excited with how it’s shaping up!
We’re always trying to balance work and life as much as possible, and to that end some of our staff will be gone for the first week of July. BUT as soon as we’re back to full manpower, the 0.14.4 release will be headed for Steam.
This update also includes revamps to our UI, which has been totally reborn like a badass phoenix rising from...we shouldn’t oversell--it just looks really, really good now. We’ve included new animations as well, many of which are for the after hours, if you catch our drift.
And what follows next, you might wonder? Leah’s storyboard has just been passed up from the dungeon where our writer dwells, and boy do we have some fun times ahead.
TLDR; House Party 0.14.4 featuring LetyDoesStuff is only a couple of weeks away, then it’s on to Leah’s new content!
House Party wouldn't be what it is today without the voice actors. These talented men and women go to bat for us with each update, especially when we make them say some of the most ridiculous shit ever to be spoken in a video game.
In honor of their dedication, we'd like to showcase some of House Party's voice talent in a series of interviews that'll help you connect with the people behind our characters.
Our first interview is with Leah's voice actor, Tiffany Witcher. As the newest member of House Party's cast, Tiffany's already kicking ass and taking names as she helps bring this budding character to life. Let's hear more from the voice behind Leah!
First off, tell us all about Tiffany Witcher.
Well hello, my name is Tiffany Witcher and I'm a voice actor. I've been voice acting for about five years working in entertainment for ten. I'm an advocate for raising awareness for Lupus and I also stream and cosplay. I live in Canada in the Ontario area but I’m originally from Washington DC.
How did you get into voice acting?
I've always loved to act and I did stage acting for a very long time. At one point I wanted to do Broadway but unfortunately due to my medical condition that wasn't in the cards. It wasn't until I was suggested to do voice acting from a friend I was like, “Yeah maybe I can give it a try!” I did small projects for fun but soon realized I really enjoyed the work and wanted to do this as my career.
What made you want to join the House Party roster?
Well, it's a funny story, my husband played the game for a long time and I also played with him after watching the Game Grumps' Let's Plays. I said, “Man, this would be fun to voice for.” It wasn't until months later a friend informed me there was a casting call for it. I quickly looked at it, prepared myself for the audition, and ta-da! It's great getting in a game you wanted to voice for. I almost thought I didn’t have the role because I was told on April 1st.
Looking back, we mayybbbee shoulda changed the day of our selection to a day, you know, not known for bullshitting. But it all worked out! Anyway...
What kind of stories would you like to see from your character Leah in the future?
Honestly considering this game breaks the 4th wall a lot. It would be amazing if there was like a martial arts like experience in black and white. The lips don't properly sync and all that. I think that would be hilarious and at the end of it all you get to, you know, have Leah.
Oh man, now we can't get this scene out of our head. (NSFW, cause of Tarantino.)
Are there any other cool projects that have/will feature your voice acting?
I've voiced in a variety of indie titles, animations and more. I would first like to thank the team behind Luna and the Moonling for first getting me into video game voice acting. Since then, I've voiced in Lucius 3 which was pretty interesting and even a game called What?! My Neighbors are Demons which is a fun lewd visual novel. I voice in a few animations like one I really love called "00:High" that’s on youtube by Akioboy. With more stuff in the future!
What advice would you give to aspiring VAs just starting out?
Patience! That is the best advice I can give. This takes time to get into and to grow. It's hard work as well and you need to be prepared to do so. Understand you won’t get every role and that rejection is part of being a voice actor.
Where can the fans follow your work?
I stream pretty regularly on Twitch, so make sure to check out my social media to see when you can catch me next!
We know there’s been a lot of questions about when Dan and Arin will be headed for House Party.
Prepare your bodies, because we have the greenlight to begin production on the Game Grumps storyline. It’s happening, friends!
Everybody at Eek appreciates your patience while we got all our cocks in a row. Ducks...while we got all our ducks in a row.
As some of you might know, we’ve already entered production on LetyDoesStuff’s update, who was the female winner of the same contest the Game Grumps won. We won’t truly be starting on any Game Grumps content until Lety’s story is the BEST it can be. Working with Lety to create a killer storyline has been a lot of fun, and we look forward to doing the same with Dan and Arin just as soon as this current update is ready for release.
Seriously, we can’t wait for Dan and Arin to knock on Madison’s door and begin another fantastic chapter of House Party, and we know you can’t either.
Of course we want to know what you, the fans of House Party and Game Grumps, would like to see from this collaboration! Let us know your ideas in the comments below and we’ll make sure our team takes a look as we begin our storyboarding process.
We've got a quick redeploy of 0.13.3, because we done goofed on a few things. But all those things are lonnngg gone now. Give this a quick download and get back to enjoying the party!

Ohhhh baby, we've been waiting for this day. House Party 0.13.3 is jam-packed. With nearly 500 new lines of dialogue, new characters, and hours of new content--we’re happy to say this is our biggest update yet.

But seriously, with the addition of 2 female intimacy routes in this update, we're adding our first-ever route that'll reach to a broader audience with a wider variety of sexual preferences. Show Patrick what you got!
There's also the addition of Leah, a certified badass with a heart of...badass! She too even has a mini storyline in this update.
But friends, storylines aside, there's just so many new features added in this update. New music, new frisky features, and LIGHT UP FLAMINGOS YO. Check out our change log below for more.
Thanks for holding tight. We're gonna go crack a beer to celebrate, but after that...we'll probably crack another, but after that it's right back to making House Party the best dang game you've ever played.

In the Original Story: fixed an issue that could cause the Player’s underwear to clip through their pants after some playthroughs of Ashley’s “Sibling Warfare” content

In the Original Story: the Player has a chance to obtain the condom for Amy’s Scavenger Hunt from Frank in the event he gets knocked out during certain moments in the story
How’s it going? We’ve been blasting out new content for House Party that’ll be headed to Steam in the near future. It’s in the hands of our beta testers right now, but we wanted to give you a taste of what’ll be hitting Steam soon after.
PATTY'S PUB..ic region
We’ve added more Patrick content--like, a lot of it. In this newest update, you’ll help Patrick become more in-tune with the ladies, all while deciding the fate of his company, Donghauser Industries. We won’t ruin the surprises of his company, but let’s just say Patrick’s definitely been to a sex club with Elon Musk before. This new content includes a female romance route with a fan favorite, but also…
Prepare your brains and your bodies for our first romance route with PATRICK.
LATE ARRIVAL: LEAH
On top of the new Patrick content, we’ve added a new female character--Leah! Leah’s a badass who’s had to join forces with Frank, but she’s not totally happy about it. Currently there’s a route that leads to full romance with Leah (different character than above), but we’re just scratching the surface of this character. There’s so much more to come.
Tons of new story, background chatter, features, 3 new romance interactions, and new SONGS thanks to some very talented artists--it’s all coming in this new update. For a full list of changes in just this beta (with more to come before releasing on Steam), check out our blog post here.
And hey, our music contest comes to an end tomorrow. VOTE HERE on the songs you’d like to see in HP when this new update comes to Steam!
Alright, you’ll be hearing from us soon everybody. Peace.
