We are pleased to announce that the beta version of FireAlpaca SE 3.0 (Windows only) is now available on Steam.
You can experience the latest features ahead of the official release.

New Brush Engine: Enables a wider range of brush expressions
16bit/ch Color Layers: Improved editing performance and more delicate color representation
New File Format (.MDZ): Multithreaded read/write support for faster loading and saving

Project Feature: Manage multi-page comics smoothly and efficiently

The beta test may end without prior notice.

The “Blur Mode” for the blending brush is still under development and is not included in this beta version.

How to Access the Beta Version (Switch to Beta Branch)

Launch the Steam client
Right-click "FireAlpaca SE" in your library and select “Properties”
Click “Betas” from the left-hand menu
Enter the access code and click “opt-in:v3_beta - 3.0 β”
In the dropdown menu, select “v3_beta - 3.0 β”
Close the window to begin automatic installation of the beta version

How to Revert to the Stable Version

Launch the Steam client
Right-click "FireAlpaca SE" in your library and select “Properties”
Click “Betas” from the left-hand menu
From the dropdown menu, select “None”
