We have seen a lot of community discussion over the past few months and wanted to take a moment to clarify our stance on bussing related topics and some policy adjustments. First, we’ll cover some details for the upcoming update, and then dive into policy adjustments built to make the party-finder tool a better experience.
February Updates
Wildsoul + Progression Events The latest class— Wildsoul— will arrive alongside progression events built to support it, including a South Kurzan Powerpass, the latest Mokoko Express event, and a third event in the works (spoiler alert, expect some help with Advanced Honing). We typically see a higher volume of returning players for new class releases and progression events, and want to ensure that they are not only supported by in-game systems, but also the broader Lost Ark community.
Mokoko Bootcamp To help further teach these players the ropes, or brush up on rusty raiding skills, we are bringing back the Mokoko Bootcamp Event. Community feedback coming out of the event’s debut was extremely helpful, and something we will continue to look at coming out of the second iteration of the event. We are looking into longer-term solutions to make the event a permanent system in the game, but weren’t ready to roll out those changes in time for the Wildsoul release and progression events. This version of the Mokoko Bootcamp will include players who had not logged-in within the last 60 days, or created a new account within the last 60 days, and who are under Item Level 1670. For the more permanent solution, we will continue to evaluate what defines a Mokoko. This event will run for a few months, similar to the initial iteration (with some refreshed and updated rewards) as we continue to monitor in-game data and player feedback on our path to making it a more permanent system.
Players will notice overhauls to the rewards, including a new special “Mokoko Legion Commander” title. We saw a lot of feedback on the volume of other available rewards, and will be juicing those up to ensure the event is worthwhile to all players. And, as we know you’re curious, while the event itself will not give away a Relic Engraving Selector, there will be one arriving for players elsewhere in the February update. We hope the special chase items along with increased honing and other progression materials will make it worthwhile for all.
We’re looking forward to seeing how this event helps support new and returning players joining for the February update, and will be monitoring your feedback as we look to solidify the future of Mokoko Bootcamp.
Party Finder Policy Adjustments & RemindersGiven the context discussed around supporting returning players and coupled with the return of the Mokoko Bootcamp, we will no longer permit the promotion of bussing and other services from the in-game party-finder tool. Our goal is to foster a better party-finder experience for new or returning players where they can better find learning groups with each other, or find a veteran party willing to show a Mokoko the ropes in exchange for Mokoko Bootcamp event tokens.
For the first two weeks (beginning tomorrow, February 18), players violating the new policy will receive a 15-minute suspension as a first time reminder and warning, with subsequent penalties beginning at 1 day, with escalating penalties (up to week-long and then month-long suspensions) for repeat offenses. After the two week period concludes, suspensions for violating the policy will begin at 1 day, and then follow the escalating penalties for repeat offenses. Spamming chat (such as Area Chat) with promotions will also incur the same penalty.
Bussing in Lost Ark has always been an “at your own risk” activity. Gold, items, or materials accepted from other players may be attached to a bad faith history, and subject for removal. Players may receive penalties if they receive illicit items, as it can be hard to verify the intention for payments that included gold generated from bots or past RMT, and will need to appeal the decision with appropriate evidence.
As a final note while we’re talking about making the Party Finder a more welcoming experience, we wanted to provide a reminder that offering piloting services is a serious offense and will incur corresponding penalties, including permanent bans.
This is a fully ready beta version of the cooperative mode, allowing you and your friends to play through the game together.
Key Changes:
Complete Playthrough: The cooperative beta allows you to play the entire game from start to finish. Cooperative Mode Balance: Balance changes have been made for a better cooperative experience: • Skuf: 8 health points (instead of 12 in single-player). • Quadriber: 3 health points (instead of 6 in single-player). Single-Player Playthrough: • Quadriber: 6 health points (formerly 4).
Recommendation: It is recommended that the user with the best performance host the game to minimize slowdowns and other issues, as they will be handling the server-side logic.
NOTE: Game saves ARE backward compatible with the last released patch, v2.0.0f. Multiplayer games are also backward-compatible, so you can only play with those who are on that version.
BETA 1
BUGS FIXED:
* Player-wolf gets stuck if attacked while outside map border. * Multiplayer: Revive doesn't work in some situations, especially on Lost River ranch. * Map-moving stalls if a persistent wolf somehow gets destroyed while in off-map storage. * Rival pack homesites shuffled up if returning to a map with an ex-player pack.
There are currently 26 crops in the game as of now (and that's just Spring!), however, not every "crop" is what you might imagine. Anything that grows in the game is considered a crop, so this could be a morel that regrows after you harvest it, or even a gemstone, like an amethyst that respawns after a few days once you hack at it.
There is an entire library of crops that I'm constantly adding to, which organizes what they look like at each stage of growth, what season they grow in, how many fruits or items they produce, and a variety of other important bits of info. But what I really wanted to share is the how each crop can have chance spawnables; these are items that might show up when you harvest a crop. Let's take the amethyst, for example: when you brandish your pickaxe, it has a 50% chance of dropping Rock Candy — something Foimoisha, your resident Gargoyle, is quite fond of.
I'll be adding more vegetables, fruits, trees, and other crops as development continues. If there's anything specific you'd like to see that maybe isn't in other farming games, let me know!
Description: Peggy, the town’s devoted seed saver, carefully cultivates rare and heirloom seeds, supplying Tobias’s shop with the best of each season. She's opinionated and spry for her age, which she rarely neglects to mention.
Voice Actor: Katy plays many characters in the game, and lends her Alabama roots to Peggy's voice beautifully.
Hello everyone! Today I have amazing news, I have been working really hard on ebonside! As of y'all know. I have been going through it lately, getting evicted, getting laid off, having my flipping house burn down. I have had my fair share of crap lately, but today I am glad to announce Ebonside's
Life and Love Update
Features that I added include are the following:
Monster hunter guilds all over Mest Jest! Strike down those NM's and get rewarded for it! An MHG has been added to Ja'dolin and P'ran, with new bounty quests!
NPC Lore! Each city has been updated to have more NPCs with special dialog for each npc, from complains about life, to lore about the city. The world of Mest Jest has gotten bigger and ready to explore!
Fixed/Added new Quests. Hop into the new bounty quests as well as some new quests in some cities! I have also fixed some quests not working/ not appearing.
Nerfed Dethard, unfortunately he was able to learn spells that made him really fricking overpowered then what he already is. He is no longer able to learn spells like "Death Count" and "Omega". If you already have these spells in your save, then Ignore this.
General bug Fixes, I have fixed a multitude of bugs ranging from "oh that's weird" to "That's game breaking". These bugs included the Orb stack glitch, which allowed for max stats on weapons and armor, to combat this. Once you augment a piece of equipment, it is permanent. So choose wisely.
Beast-master fixes. I believe I have fixed the problem with Beast-master regarding the monsters bugging out the system. The problem with it was that it was trying to read every single weapon that could be Duel Wielded, and since all the weapons besides the broths didn't have a sprite. It would cause an error. This has being fixed and tested on my end, but I can't say it won't break. Just because during my testing it worked as intented.
Reworked Kakata Raising. You can know have kakatas with stats! The main one being Loyalty. The stats currently don't do anything as of right now. But, in the next update they will play a big role in events like Kakata racing, digging and fighting. That's right, fighting. Bird Up.
NPC Recognitions. Npcs in towns will give special dialog regarding to who is in your party, so keep a look out!
Thank you all for baring with me these couple of months, I say this again. I am sorry, I really love this project and I want to continue working on it. This is my baby, and it takes me back to my days of FFXI.
With everything going on in my life, it has gotten harder to work on it. But rest assured. The DLC will come out, and you guys will get to enjoy all the new content that comes with it.
If you want more updates regarding Ebonside, do think about joining the Discord! Until then Enjoy the new update and if you find any bugs, either make a post on the discussions board or post them in the #Bugs tab in discord.

It's time for a fresh devlog. Over the past two weeks, I have been working hard on the quest system for the historical mode. This required a lot of preparation time, but I also tried to add some extra content to make testing more interesting. Currently, the update is 60% complete. Most of the additional mechanics and fixes are done, with only about 5-10% remaining—mainly creating dialogues and the storyline.
Thank you to everyone who helps with testing and finding bugs—you are speeding up the development of the new update!
Today is also my birthday—I turned 25. To celebrate, I have set a 65% discount on my game bundle "All Game PimpGameStudio."
Join our Discord channel for more development updates, where devlogs are released earlier. You can also try all the changes in the test branch. However, be prepared for spoilers! If you want to experience the historical mode from the beginning, it's better not to enter the test branch.
