Bunch of bugfixes! Mostly a lot of small stuff. Also, if you went all in on Roland and now have to fight him, the duration of the kneel command has been capped at 10 turns so you don't end up with whatever huge number I have seen some players up there. :'D

We finally finished the Magic Inn: Prologue. It took much longer than we planned, but on the bright side, we’ve implemented almost all of our blueprints for the Prologue, making it richer in content and more stable than the demo we shared a few months ago. However, with time being tight, we couldn’t playtest as extensively as we’d like. So, if you encounter any bugs or feel something in the design could be improved, please let us know. We want to shape the game together with players who care about it as much as we do.

Before you dive in, we owe you an apology that full controller support isn’t ready yet. Please bear with us for two more days and use the mouse and keyboard to play for now. We truly appreciate your patience!

Thanks everyone who bought the game or got a key offered by some generous donator.

The game got released last week and we're already fixing some things over time, don't hesitate to report bugs you encounter on steam forums or on the official discord server!

The OST will soon be available on Steam but you can already listen to it on Spotify, Youtube or some other streaming platforms.

What's planned?

Not much is planned for now except Twitch integration which is being worked on. I'm planning to work on enhancing the modding support and make a better documentation. On that note...

Looking for modders

The game heavily focuses on making mods and right now I'm the only user of my tools so I don't really know what's missing/needed to add to the documentation. I'm open to questions and suggestions regarding modding and the documentation, so don't hesitate to ask something, even if it you think it sounds dumb, it's probably not.

Hey everyone! We've made some important improvements to Two Bad Fellas:

Now, when you get caught by the Two Bad Fellas, the game no longer restarts from the main menu but from the initial room.
Pressing ESC now opens the general settings menu.
Various bugs have been fixed to improve the overall experience.

As we continue down the wandering paths on our sturdy cart, I wanted to share some thoughts about one of our companions—the Rogue.

Travelling with such a diverse group has been an enlightening experience, and the Rogue's unique skills have proven invaluable time and again.

The Rogue is a master of agility and precision, relying on swift dodges and counterattacks rather than the cumbersome protection of heavy armour.



In the heat of battle, the Rogue becomes a whirlwind of destruction, dealing massive damage to our foes. The Rogue has an excellent ability to infuse attacks with additional effects, such as Vampirism. This particular skill allows the Rogue to simultaneously harm the enemy and heal themselves, a truly formidable combination that often turns the tide in our favour.



Beyond the battlefield, the Rogue's talents extend to our camp life. Ever resourceful, the Rogue takes on the crucial role of scout, venturing into the wilderness to gather and hunt for food. This not only sustains us but also ensures that we are well-prepared for the challenges ahead. Additionally, the Rogue has a keen eye for spotting wild crystals, which are essential for charging our protective sigil. This sigil is our safeguard, shielding our caravan from the pervasive taint that threatens to overtake these lands.



Traveling with the Rogue has been a lesson in adaptability and resourcefulness. Their contributions are a testament to the strength of our group, and I am grateful for the opportunity to journey alongside such a skilled and dedicated companion.

  • Resource Mining: Ores can no longer be mined through walls or other objects.
  • UI Adjustment: The user interface for player upgrades has been reworked.
  • Placement: The miner can once again be placed on stone.
  • Movement: Jumping onto stones is now possible again.
  • Position Bugs: All reported spots where players could get stuck in the hub or levels have been fixed.
  • Poison Area:
  • The notification text has been revised and translated.
  • The text is now only displayed to players who are actually inside the poison area.
  • Mushroom Enemies: Poison clouds created by mushroom enemies no longer show the area as a poison zone.
  • Reload Indicator: The reload indicator has been adjusted.
  • Endless Mode: Fixed a bug that allowed players to keep playing by pressing "Tab" while waiting for others.
  • Rocket Launcher: Fixed a bug where rockets could sometimes get stuck, causing the sound to play indefinitely.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Release version will be a lot more polished and contain many more features and content than the Demo.

Also the game will get further improvements after the release, based on community feedback.

-Linux should now work from the steam button natively again
-Game now uses steam depo system which reduces the games install file size a bit (unless I messed something up)
-6 balance changes, 4 description/spelling improvements
-Various perks can no longer cancel battles when you somehow gain them mid battle
-Some general fixes

If there are notable fixes I usually do fixing updates between normal updates time, in this case linux (hopefully) working again is preety important, the other fixes are also mildly nice though.
